Major reason why many of these dev keep on posting bounty campaign is that they see it as a cheap way of promoting their projects. If not, they would have gone for other possible means. I have no believe on any ICO again and I lost interest in bounty campaign long time ago. Even some renowned. Bounty manager like sylon have stopped managing bounty just not to tarnish their image. It is no longer news that ICO and IEO are no more profitable and it doesn't worth investing on.

I definitely agree mostly on these list, especially on no.7 that the spreadsheet isn't updated weekly, because we can feel that the bounty campaign is abandoned already when spreadsheet is not updated.

Absolutely an effective thread I believe it will help a lot to aware bounty participants especially newbies who are participating in bounties on huge graph without proper understanding which creates false hype, confusion and give encouragement to scam projects as well hopefully bounty participants will learn with this topic and take right steps.

Indeed and we need more post like this to raise awareness about people who want to scam you and not just in bounty but in all aspects of crypto, posting or replying your experience about scamming can save someone because they will be familiar of the situation once it happen to them, i think newbies also needs to go first to this kind of thread before interacting to different sites about crypto so that they will be equipped with knowledge.

For you to be able to avoid bounty scams, try to report those people who manages it since they might have some part in this scamming cases. Try to also check the background of the developers if they are able to finish some of the projects before. It might help you to identify if it will become successful or not.

I do agree on some point though there are some successful bounties being handled by the team - project owner but was successful but yes, a reputable Bm would help a lot but what do you think happened with "needmoney"? Again, it can lessen the risk but still we can only know if it will be good or bad once it ended and once they have the market.

I remembered that your active before on listing good bounties. Why did you stop the update? I usually search on your list before as you keep detailed and complete list of every bounty that has been introduced here in forum.

I have already written about this before, it took a lot of my time to keep the table up to date. But in addition to working on the table, I had my main job and my family.

Creating such a table requires a lot of knowledge and time. Therefore, such a table cannot be free of charge. But as I understand on the forum very few who are willing to pay for such selection bounty. Therefore, those who started to make such a table, after a while stopped supporting it .

Yes, many prefer to create a website, which is great while it has its own promotions, then it goes to oblivion.
Yes, it's quite some work until such a topic becomes well known. Afterwards the bounty posters and hunters will help out maintaining it. The same happens with the Bitcoin signature campaigns.

And I also don't agree with you on the "table cannot be free of charge" part. If you don't want to move a finger without getting paid on this forum, it's... ugly. I understand that if you would not have a signature campaign you wouldn't have even answered to this thread, right?
Well, this forum is about helping each other. Not necessarily about earning money. That's just a plus.

You do not accept any other opinion than your own. Although I believe that I have more experience in this matter than you. I have done such a free table for 8 months in the past , so I know all the difficulties that are associated with this. So don't blame me for not doing anything for free for this forum. Why bother with these scammy bounties when there are genuine and solid airdrops out there like Bitvaluta (BTV). Don't waste your time for weeks or even months and get nothing.

This is a very good point that will help get a bounty reward back especially if they are listed and exited. Like example, Orengitu never paid bounty reward for all bounty he handled.

Not all your points are valid or means legit projects make silly mistakes as well, we can't expect all team to be equal, mistakes will occur, few projects failed to create ANN before introducing the project this doesn't mean they are scam

I don't care about this issue, as long as the project is still active and their telegram is regularly updated by the admin, everything will be fine. In the past I have joined a few of the same bounty, spreadsheets have not been updated until the end of the campaign. But the result was a successful project and the bounty hunters still got their money

The kind of project and the team also matters which the project you may have joined has real team and no scam accusation about them. All of what OP said though had to be taken seriously because you'd rather not join a campaign if these are not met by the campaign.

Its time we rally together and stop those who took advantage of the bounty hunters.

I used to have a thing for bounty tokens in the past because I believe the freedom that was given to devs using ERC20 smart contract makes scammers evade crypto space but that changes after I make the biggest profit from a low rated bounty project, if you don't run you will get paid someday, just do your part like doing research

I was expecting that since the list for Bitcoin signature campaigns is so nice and has so many helpers, altcoin should not be much different. I guess it's not like that.

Agree, the bounty program will continue to exist even every day, of course it will be unavoidable, what we can do is don't just be happy just keep doing the research you can.

This research is quite important in choosing a bounty program.
I think there are many ways to do research and that can help you choose projects.

If you go to bounty section on this forum many scam projects are on there and many bounty hunters are promoting these projects, the truth is many bounty hunters don't care about research, it's a waste of time warning such hunters because they bring it on themselves

That is the best way for us to prevent scam projects. But not everyone has the experience to choose projects. And most of the new bounty hunters entering this market will be stuck with scam bounty

Frankly, Bounty campaign usually takes unusual turns that we cannot find solutions too.

Just few years back; Iagon project Bounty was the best in town: perfect product and all sorts, but today it is linguishing in panxora without value and products has refused to launch.

But ixianum Bounty from last year; with all traces meant to fail, did well and made people very rich this year.

Hence; let Bounty hunters make their choices and do not let us discriminate.
