That would be 2248% in my case, not true. It's the other way around. For me: (shares / diff) * 100 = 13823646600 / 30977051760460.06 * 100 = 0.04%

guys watch this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPwrodxghrwall luck on this pool has no meaning unless you hit a block. Now once you grab a block it is a different story. then you can decide if I was worth it. Ie did you spend more than 6.25 btc to grab a 6.25 btc block is the only real meaning for solo mining.

Totally agree! And it could be hit in several minutes of mining as well as years.

Like Block #721575 mined with only 3.9% diff (1038303277333 shares) https://explorer.btc.com/btc/block/721575(my guess an S9 without ASIC boost if it was running at 13-15T) Congratulations to yet another small miner with 13TH! You sure you understand what luck statistic means in mining? If you are 6000% luck that would mean you overmined 60 times over and still not hit a block - not realistically possible.

All ratios are PART / WHOLE so in mining PART = shares and WHOLE = network difficulty (SHARES/NETWORKdiff)*100 is your diff rating (456,170,867,212/30,977,000,000,000)=1.4%

Is there a reason that the fees are 2% on this solo pool, while the fees a kano.is are much lower? I ask this question because I do not understand why this pool is so popular if there are equal much cheaper pools.

I assume that many miners think that "When you hit a whole block, does it really matter if you give 2% vs 1% or even no fee at all?" , . But then the answer to your question is rather difficult, Ck solo pool has been here for years, as it says in the title that it found 267 blocks so far, Kano's solo pool is relatively new, and as far as I know, no block was hit there yet, and you know it takes time for something new to be as popular. Also, this pool requires no registration or login, you just use your BTC address which is pretty damn convenient. Another reason could be "personal reasons" regarding the pools' owners themselves. There are probably many other reasons, it's the same question as why many of us use Viabtc and pay 4% instead of using Poolin/Binance with only 2-2.5%, it's not just about the fees.

Kano pool contains Kano's personality discount adjustment. He is an aggressive and unbearable member of this community, he has lower fees on his pool to attract any users. Even with 2x lower fees, his pool isn't even close to Con Kolivas's pool, who is a very well respected member, volunteer, developer and contributor not just to Bitcoin but to the entire open source movement. Is the telegram bot public? The stats page doesn't do it for me. Stats page doesn't do that. I very much would like to see that though, it costs nothing to calculate! At the moment, its in my personal Telegram bot which sends me stats every day. Formula I use is as follows: Luck = shares as seen on my personal solo pool page / current Bitcoin difficulty * 100% Bestever luck = bestever as seen on my personal solo pool page / current Bitcoin difficulty * 100% I get shares and bestever via wget, and difficulty straight from local bitcoind. Result: Apollo Miner Hashrate: 1999 GH/s Error rate: 0.3% Power draw: 126 W Temperature: 54°C Fan: 2123 RPM Uptime: 1d:7h:16m Process memory: 4.2 MiB
Solo CKpool stats 7d hashrate: 2.07TH/s 1d hashrate: 1.86TH/s Luck: 0.04% Bestever luck: 0.13%

Back from vacation and can go further
Some seats free for the next group run to find a new block...
Currently we have 12 participants and 0.105 BTC collected. Voting is on 25PHs, but we need a little more budget for that. For 20PHs it would be almost enough to create a one day / 24h mining run.
Welcome back! I'm excited for the next run Anyone want to pick up the remaining space?
