Oh ok. Yeah that might be it. BitMaker hashrate is only around 20kh/s. Thanks.

20Kh/s is like a 1 in 350 Billion year chance of hitting a block, crazy low hash rates

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

When we see the possibility that 9-figure shares can hit 15-figure shares, from another perspective, are there any seniors who have accumulated more than 14-figure shares and have not yet hit it?
 Huh

1,697,962,680,737 = 13 figures

currently this long 1 ph run

https://solo.ckpool.org/users/3NwurtiKe8GrpVdZGYEESY5N1DQqUboQWz

did 329,105,275,012 which is 12

it has

159,980,062,399 shares but you never know.

 Huh

I currently carry these shares, 14 figures: 1,489,629,580,868

The best share is: 1337065702670

And the best since the last block hit: 5772452048

The last blocks found had about 10 or 14 times fewer shares than me..... A lot of luck to them..
Very very difficult to hit….

Hi All,

Hope someone can explain.

What is the affect of the --suggested-diff setting in CGMiner?

How do we determine what the best value is for a certain hash rate?

Thanks for your help

Hi All,

Hope someone can explain.

What is the affect of the --suggested-diff setting in CGMiner?

Hi garry

It changes the minimal difficulty of the shares submitted to the pool by your miner. It is useful if you have a low hashrate and want the pool to be able to track the work done efficiently, but it won't affect your "mining results" in the case you find a block -- as long as your ASIC is well connected to the pool

Quote
How do we determine what the best value is for a certain hash rate?

You can look the following quote and link :

Recommended difficulty is calculated as: D=H*2.3, H is the hashrate, G is unit.

E.g: S9 is 14T   then D = 14000 2.3 = 32200, set to d=32200

       S7 is 5T     then D = 5000 2.3 = 11500, set to d=11500

       U3 is 50G  then D = 50 * 2.3 = 115, set to d=115

Hi,
I just want to be sure, Is the Native SegWit multi signatures (like https://solo.ckpool.org/users/bc1qruzlf3pszgl5dgsy5n99afpjmt93r4sx64q99vvslg5ywnnrht4s3gkkm7 ) fully supported or I should use single Native SegWit?

Thanks

Is it possible to add a message to a mined block with cgminer software?

No I don't think so

The message shown should be the message of the OP_Return of the ck pool if you find a block, if I am not wrong only the pool operator can do it for the coinbase transaction
