hi2all.
I have a question, about starictics at the ck site.
I connect one miner to sk pool in the middle of the day. At miner webinterface i see real heshrate and all shares, they go to ckpoll eith no problem. But at site statistisc the hashrate if my minwr is too low. What does it mean?

The statistics are averaged, so it take time of continuous hashing for them to show a true representation of your miners hash rate.

next Blockarty is in planning

Hello all,

let's go to the next group buy from Hashingpower.

As already requested by some forum users I put a new group buy for solo mining. Start at the earliest after the next diff reduction.

~20 users for each 0.002 BTC or more BTC can participate. A higher number is not useful, otherwise a possible profit will be much too small.
If smaller amounts than the minimum amount are allowed in a single case, then the calculation of the rewards will be based on the amount of BTC deposited.
Hashingpower is rented on MiningRigRentals and shot on the solo pool.
The status of the group run can be observed during the runtime via the Live View link.
Here you can see what our hashingpower is and what our highest share / bestshare is.

If a block is found, the reward will be paid out to the participants.

In the past we had found 10 blocks --> 193 BTC!
Block list: 385022, 394940, 394946, 395087, 396941, 399709, 401934, 706369, 712217, 780525

then i have the secont question.
You think that statictics has a lag.
I watch the main statistic page of ckpool, and it shows the total hashrate of all pool. In graphic it has some peaks ,may somebody connect asics for few hours, may be is gays from poolparty, i dont know. This peaks continues 2-3 hours. It is strange the the main page show this changes very quickly, but the person page takes for this 1 or 2 days.

You are correct big peaks are usually where there are large rental miners ("pool parties") with many PH/s hash rates, sometimes these only run for a short time since they are expensive to rent.

Mine with Team Rigly on CK Pool, as we try to solo mine a block.

Rigly block party is happening on 2/13 00:00 - 18:00 UTC

- Minimum buy-in is just 1,000 sats (21 TH/s)
- Lightning buy-in supported
- Hashpower comes from NiceHash / Mining Rig Rentals
- Bring your bitaxe! bring-your-own-miner is supported

Much respect to Willi's parties, which inspired this effort.

If we see interest, we'll make it a recurring party.

Join us on telegram:
   https://t.me/+K8JjHpTgqoFjZmIx

Mining starts at 00:00 UTC on Friday.

Im having an issue with CKPool.  I have been actively mining for 85 hours 37 mins, but when I put my BTC address in https://solo.ckpool.org/users/ it comes back as Error 404.  What am I doing wrong?

I'm planning to rework the ausolo.ckpool.org networking this afternoon. There will be a period of downtime while this happens, and when it returns it will likely be on a different IP address so it may take a while for your miners to recognise the change. As always, make sure to have a backup pool configured in your mining hardware.

Has ckpool not discovered any blocks for a long time?
Today marks 70 days since the latest Block for any of the three CK servers (US, EU & AU). Plus currently the US server is at a pool luck of 241% (though a Difficulty adjustment is set to happen in a few hours which will change the luck & significantly lower that 241 figure), so yes by both those metrics the pool is overdue for a Block.

However 70 days ago, the pools collectively just finished getting 4 Blocks in less than three weeks.

Meaning over a long enough timeframe, our current situation seems to be within the normal range.. sometimes we get a bunch of Blocks within short window of time while other times (like now) it takes longer than usual.

Good luck everyone, hoping to see a small miner get a Block soon!

With the network difficulty generally only increasing, the odds of a small 1-4TH/s miner finding a block these days is getting really rare.

Its getting to the point even multi PH/s miners are struggling to find blocks.

With 1PH/s you're still looking at odds:=

Chance per block: 1 in 1,091,780

Chance per day: 1 in 7,582

Time estimate: 21 years

So, its not at all surprising that the frequency of block discovery is sparse at best.

That being said, random is random so theoretically at least anything can and does happen.

It's been 77 days since a block for any of the servers, and the US pool is now at 228% luck (since the massive difficulty adjustment back up to 144.4T..).

But, in the past two weeks - after years of mining here - my handful of Th/s has recorded the highest ever best share of 23T. Yes, that's still far from the 144.4T needed, but encouraging enough to keep going.. even though the total pool best share hasn't budged in over a month.

OK, so why am I writing a post?

Because I'm slightly superstitious and recall last year posting about the pool luck being unusually unlucky only to wake up the next morning to find someone has hit a block! It's 11:20 PM EST right now and this time I'm hoping it's me Wink

That's how this works, right guys?!

[It's late, I'm bored and just kidding]

Good luck ladies and gentlemen, LFG!!

Dear Con Kolivas (-ck),
I am writing to you regarding a block I successfully mined on the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network using ckpool-solo.
Due to a configuration error on my part, the block reward was redirected to a fallback/donation address. I am reaching out to see if there is any possibility of recovering these funds.
Technical details of the event:

    Block Height: 940600
    Block Hash: 0000000000000000004e7e98b9408d41e0f740abf31d343c03a20d0a48629c14
    Transaction ID (Coinbase): b3fa2f2f9391541a129337726dbed1464a473f3dd6f9f7060d904d21f00400f7
    Mined Date: 2026-03-02 15:14:13 UTC
Coinbase Signature: /minado-con-bchn/ (This matches my btcsig configuration).
    Reward Amount: 3.12747725 BCH
    Destination (Donation) Address: qrphqm2s6gy2uya4uvh5ma357x36al085ymj8u32nd

Technical Analysis:
In my ckpool.conf, I provided my Electron Cash address (qzr0smunlpd4dtf4q74tw6j6czec7jyjxqt0v5rc2j) but omitted the required "bitcoincash:" prefix. After checking the source code in generator.c, I noticed the logic regarding "donation addresses from mainnet for coinbase validation". It appears that because my address format was rejected during validation, the software triggered this fallback.
A Personal Note:
This was my very first block ever mined. I have put an immense amount of effort, time, and resources into setting up my node and hardware. Finding this block was a dream come true, but seeing the reward go to a donation address due to a simple syntax mistake has been devastating. As a solo miner, this reward is very significant to me and my family.
My intended address (CashAddr):
bitcoincash:qzr0smunlpd4dtf4q74tw6j6czec7jyjxqt0v5rc2j
As the solo miner who found this block (as proven by the custom signature), I kindly ask if you could return the reward. I would be more than happy to leave a generous donation for your incredible work as a token of my gratitude.
Thank you very much for your time and understanding.
Best regards,
Jose (joseseascripto)
