Congratulations to miner bc1qq926qlrhc2pvxzc5f0zswnvqqddqqj3tz2amla with a sizeable 2.5PH/s for solving the first EU solo block and the 298th block at http://solo.ckpool.org!

https://mempool.space/block/000000000000000000005afed55b551d961220653a05daa8f362de2a384d8cea

A miner of this size has about a one in 2,000 chance of finding a block per day.

This is the inaugural block for the EU solo pool which is cause for celebration.

I'm currently away at a bitcoin gathering and don't have low level access to the pool, but I will post the logs from the pool console when I get home.

Hi Con ...

You at TheBushBash?

I've missed it this Year - AGAIN!

I updated the post "Block Difficulty vs. Network Difficulty 2009-2024" today and added a new chart that roughly illustrates the history of mining hardware/chip types.
It's interesting to see how the development has evolved and what kind of best shares have been generated throughout Bitcoin's history.

On the second posting you can see all the bestshare per month since BTC Network was startet

I'm new to mining. I have several bitaxe miners individually connected to eusolo.ckpool.org all with different names. If I want to combine their hashing power, do I name them the same or I need to do anything additionally so the hashing power is recognized as it is a single miner? Or better to start with does it make any difference if they solo mine separately at eusolo.ckpool.org or jointly as a single machine? Does consolidation to one miner increases a chance of finding a block or getting bigger size of a share? I hope this makes sense... Smiley

it makes no diffent but if you have for each miner a single name like btcaddress.bitaxe1 / btcaddress.bitaxe2 / etc. so you can see if one miner has a problem.

i would recomend put all miner to a single btc address, bute make a different worker extension for each miner.

PS: you can also joint our little project with a lot of more small miner (see also in the mining area --> Lottery Solo Pool Miner Race on ckpool https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5478927.0)

Best regards,
Willi

But as we all know, a small Bitaxe Can hit a high share and can create a valid bitcoin block.
It is only a question of luck and time. Keep the fingers crossed and hit a block.

Best regards and happy mining

If you find a block, your bestshare will be = or > than the current BTC difficulty (121,507,793,131,900.00).
Of course, your block will also have to be accepted by the network (even if orphans have become quite rare nowadays).

Just download Electrum and use that. Super easy.
Or you could do Armory if you want super security and cold storage.

Phones are very unsecure. I can't recommend any for phones. They exist, but are not smart.

thank you but you put dots in the number and in my number there is only one dot could you put one dot so that I understand completely, and my share no longer changes and reaches the maximum, I think that if I understood correctly this is not a real figure with my hashrate

In the statistics you included in your original post, it showed you had a best share of about 682 million ["bestshare": 682541754.6111791]. To successfully solve/create a Block you need a best share greater then the current difficulty, which at the moment is over 121.5 trillion.

Hope this helps and good luck mining
