You can donate such tokens to the charity organizations, surely they will hold it until the day listing on the exchange. I have seen such new projects that aim to collect useless tokens. Another alternative option is to send these tokens to the mentioned ETH address: 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Is it possible to remove tokens from dead projects/tokens that are totally useless and worth $0 from my wallet? Do I just send them to a random address? I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins You can create an address and send them, but I feel that's not economical considering the fact that the gas fee is quite high and the tokens are worthless. It would be best to abandon the wallet full of worthless tokens and create a new wallet that would be censored against worthless tokens. The same fee will be paid if the user gets rid of the useless tokens or send the valuable tokens from the old address to the new ETH address. The worthless tokens should stay on the old ETH wallet as a dust and should avoid playing with the mentioned type of altcoins. There is nothing wrong HODL useless tokens even if the list is going to be bigger than yesterday every day.

I dont know maybe you can send that to another adrress but you will cost some gas. I also have some useless tokens in my wallet that i got from bounty campaign. I keep it as collection to remain how many projects that i participated It actually will cost you for transferring it. And you know and I that gas fees today are not that cheap anymore. We tend to complain if the fees are high and for those people that have useless tokens on their wallets, that's what you need to do. I also think that you can also remove that by hiding its appearance on that wallet. I can't remember that contract address which you are allowed to do in MEW so that any token can be visible or be hidden.

I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins yes, you can send shitcoin that you have at a random address or to the burning address " https://etherscan.io/address/0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead", but my advice is that you better to hold shitcoin you have, because to send these coin you need gas (transaction fee), so it will waste your money.

You can send to a random address if you want, I think this is the only solution but only waste your ethereum for gas, so maybe a better option is you keep it and ignore it, no one knows about the future, maybe your shitcoin will give you benefits. You the see burning address above, maybe the developers regret his actions.

I keep it as collection to remain how many projects that i participated That could help us to select during the next project. When I see my bad research to receive these useless tokens, I will realize my fault. I'm keeping my tokens at my address. We shouldn't send tokens to another wallet, now that's will cost us more than we imagine. Ethereum blockchain transaction cost is different to send the same tokens.

Not necessary and avoid it. If unless token in my wallet it's not a bad effect so doesn't matter how much do you have unless token. Although i know many unless token come from airdrop and bounty so i hope your unless token may not purchase spend money. Otherwise if you want delete unless token from your wallet then keep back transfer.

If you really want to delete them in the sense of that they shouldn't be on your wallet anymore you probably have to send them to another adress so they are gone. Some people in this thread posted already a burn adress. But then you also have to pay a transaction fee for every dead coin you want so send there. But i think most wallets also have the ability to hide tokens, which means to not show tokens that you don't want to be shown.

Some wallets like Atomic wallet let you select the tokens you want to see and just ignore the ones you want. This way your real balance will not be affected by trash tokens. This is a really useful feature.
And i agree that those tokens don't worth the fees to send them away. Is just spend gas (fees) to take them out of your wallet, that sounds just like a waste of money. So, the best thing to do is to configure your wallet to ignore them. At least that's the free way to deal with them.

I don't think you can do that. What you can do is transfer the token to other address. Just transfer it to burn address like 0x000... and it will be gone from your wallet. But why do you want to get rid of it ? You need gas fee to move the token out of your wallet.

No, I also have a lot of useless tokens and want to throw them away. The only way is to send to another wallet, and that takes a lot of gass.

I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins Why you want to waste some gas fee for some worthless token! If you have too many of them and don't want to see them in your wallet then just change your wallet. If you can not change your wallet then you can use a trusted wallet to hind your unwanted or shit token from your portfolio. Trust wallet has this option to hide any token from your balance but you can not delete or remove it without sending it to a random address.

Just switch off token views simple. People will spray your wallet with useless tokens whether you want them or not. I never added any tokens to my clean wallet but it still got airdropped stuff I never asked for,,, and I will never be tempted to go to uniswap or whatever dex just to sell them. Many are tricks:)

Previously, the cost of a transaction on the Ethereum network was very low, so you could use a very popular solution to the problem, namely, send all unnecessary tokens to the wallet, which will act as a trash can. But today the process will be too expensive. Nevertheless, there is a way out even today, since not only TrustWallet, but also the official MyEtherWallet provides functionality that allows the user to disable unnecessary coin balances. I believe that today the need to get rid of unnecessary tokens in your wallet has disappeared. In addition, one must take into account the fact that today there are still free distributions of tokens of very promising projects to wallets that have high activity.

I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins You could just simply forget that address or create a new one and transfer your valuable assets there but make sure to back-up your old because there might be hidden gems there just in case it happens to me sometimes. But its too costly to move tokens these days specially that gas is a pain in the ass unlike before its dirty cheap, now cost a fortune.

it could be but I don't think it's necessary, because the cost of sending tokens is now quite high. Unless you really want to dump them. and I think it doesn't matter if we have many types of tokens in our wallet. even though the token is worthless.

lol, you need eth for gas fee to be able to send the useless tokens to other address. Better to keep those tokens in your wallet than spend ethereum to delete the tokens in my opinion. Who knows some of those tokens will become massive adopted by people in the future.
true, who knows in the future the coins in wallets are useful and have value, I still have coins that have no price and have even been abandoned by the developer, if you want to throw them away the costs are very expensive and just waste money.

A few years back, I had an account with the Yobit exchange. They had this option to "dust" the balance. So if you don't like some of your coins or tokens, you can just "dust" these holdings, which will destroy them. It will not cost you anything. Unfortunately, the ERC-20 wallets doesn't have that option. And this is one of the aspects, where the ETH developers can work upon.

There is no way you can delete your token from your wallet you need to send it to another address. But there is some app like trust wallet that has the option to hide any unwanted token from the list so that it won't show up in your wallet but it won't delete your token either.
