Is it possible to remove tokens from dead projects/tokens that are totally useless and worth $0 from my wallet? Do I just send them to a random address? I don't want to burden anyone else with those shitcoins  Cheesy
You can send those useless tokens to another unknown wallet address or just delete their smart contract from your wallet and the tokens will stay hidden from your wallet menu or interface

There is no point in removing unnecessary tokens from your wallet, because new unnecessary coins may soon appear there. In addition, transferring such coins to a random address will bring you an additional loss in the form of a paid transfer fee. I haven't paid attention to such coins for a long time, but there is always a chance that the price of the coin may one day rise.

You can, But what's the point? You'll use gwei/gas in order to get rid of it? So just ignore them. There's no good reason to get rid of it if it requires money. And maybe someday that deadcoins can be resurrected. Who knows?

Of course you can, you can send the trash token to another address or you can create a new address and send it there. That is the best way I do.
The best way is to create a new address and use it. It only takes 30 seconds to create a new address and everything will be easy. Why do we have to waste time moving those tokens to a new address?

You know guys we answer to these kinds of questions and sometimes we give our answers and these answers are very sincere answers and all of sudden you want to participate further and these kinds of threads get deleted by the admin. I just encountered that in other sections, you answer questions, help people and then after a day or two you check your post for responses and they're gone, because the thread got deleted. I do hope yours will continue to move on for this has been asked many times and my two cents worth here is I treat these useless coins like souvenirs of a time. I use these shitcoins as memories for certain events in my life during the time I got those. So don't delete them. It's a waste of resources if you use your resource to send these to other addresses. Keep them and use them as memories.

creating a new wallet will also experience the same thing this wallet can possibly receive a token created  by unknown developer.

Why making it  difficult and thinking it's a big problem you can stay your sht coins in your wallet besides there is nothing to lose having it in your wallet.

It's true, creating a new wallet is just a waste of time,

You can still receive another useless token sooner or later, I think keeping those useless tokens won't bother you a bit. Just keep those tokens and don't overthink about those useless tokens.

I think there's no deleting of tokens or coins in our wallet. The only way is to make another wallet and send to that address only the tokens that are valuable and leave the ones that has no value, but the thing is you have to use eth gas for the transaction. I also have several tokens with no value even about 3 years, and i just left it behind my wallet.

Is it that difficult to keep these tokens in your wallet? Apart from making the wallet a bit clumsy, they don't cause any other harm. You always have the option of moving to another wallet. But with ETH gas fees at extremely high levels right now, this is not something that I would be recommending. The ERC-20 algorithm doesn't give you the freedom to delete tokens. You need to live with that.

There are some wallets which lets you view only the tokens you wanna view. If you mean by delete the tokens from the address you can send them to the burn address although it will cost you some gas fee.

I also have some dead tokens in my wallet. These are of on use. I wanted to delete these but couldn’t. Parhaps these can't be deleted. You can open a new wallet if you want or ignore the tokens.

Personally, I am more willing to leave the token in my wallet instead of having to sacrifice Gas fees for burning tokens, because everyone already knows about Gas fees which are not stable at this time, so they have to pay a little more expensive for each transaction.

As said in the previous post, that is a very good decision, considering we all never know, what will happen to a project for the next 5 or 10 years.
A lot of people seem to be making their junk tokens into this wallet, and now let's take a look at the balance of the wallet

There seems to be some valuable shittoken, although it looks like this is a wallet used to burn tokens

You can, but I don't think so because you need a lot of GAS to do it. You can create new wallet addresses and keep using them, forgetting your old wallet if they are not important to you.
We can completely leave them in place and ignore them.

Good suggestion. I wanted to give him this advice. But you gave before me.
Is it possible to remove tokens from dead projects/tokens that are totally useless and worth $0 from my wallet?
Yes, it is possible to remove tokens from dead projects/tokens that are totally useless and worth $0 from your wallet to others wallet. But it will take a lot of transaction fees. If your wallet is not very favorite and important to you, then there is no need to do it.

Hmmm, the pains of seeing useless tokens in our wallets is something else entirely. This is because most projects which were invested in turned out to be scams and hence leading to the token being useless, and wherein the team has made away with the money generated, users or investors are left with a useless token which will always serve as a reminder, and it's painful.
However, regarding your question, sadly there is nothing anyone can do about it not even the team of the project. It is a one way thing, and that is, you can only send it out but the question is, since the token is useless does it make any sense spending gas fees or transaction fees on it? As for me it doesn't especially when taking into account the gas fees of a blockchain like Ethereum. So that left us with one option, abandon the wallet and go for another.

You cannot delete the token from your wallet, but you can still move it to a new address. But of course you will be wasting gas doing it. my advice is just leave the token and don't need to care about it.

Why not just ignore them,if it is me ,i definitely choose ignore instead of send them, cause send them means consume gas,and consume gas means lost money.Besides, maybe one day these dead coin would  resurrect miraculously with a nice price.Although this ia a very small probability, but there is a advertising commentary "Nothing is impossible".

You can create an address and send them, but I feel that's not economical considering the fact that the gas fee is quite high and the tokens are worthless. It would be best to abandon the wallet full of worthless tokens and create a new wallet that would be censored against worthless tokens.
