In fact, this is almost the main rule of trading - start with a popular, convenient and stable one. Learn to understand the market, understand the tools, understand the impact of the world on the market and the market on the world.
At some point, you begin to understand these or other risks and take them, getting more experience and knowledge with each step. This does not mean that no one will fail, but it means that the gradual path of learning will make failures less painful, and victories more frequent and enjoyable!

Why not highlight few tokens
do your own research, figure out future strands about the project before investment.

Yes, and this is the importance of doing research first before investing, because with a little research at least we already know and can manage our steps in terms of choosing tokens and projects.

An altcoin being on the "top" doesn't automatically mean it's a "safe" or good investment. I mean, take a look at it! The cryptocurrency market is full of crap. And not to mention that bitcoin is risky and volatile enough for the typical inexperienced investor, and you're going to say that it's better for them to buy coins like Ripplecoin a.k.a. fidget spinner coin? Worst investing advice I've read yet.

These coins are still better and more reliable than other new projects that lands on ranking numbers like 300 and up, even BSV did well months back giving investors good return, these coins are still a better choice for those who have interest in altcoins only

Seek for more crypto knowledge before investing in new projects, it's not always that easy to choose, as a newbie it's better to stick with old top altcoins on coinmarketcap, why? Because many newbie are in rush to make fast returns, if you are this type pls go for better top coins, 90% of new coins aren't serious at all, they are here to steal money from investors and give fake promises in return

Newbies are safer with top altcoins until they start learning how to choose wisely, do better diggings on new project to avoid scams

Cov-19 have been used to scam many newbies and even Corona virus coins are built too which have no real use cases

Play safe and be willing to learn
When most people (especially newbies) are asked if they know anything about crypto the first thing or coin they are likely to refer to is Bitcoin, then pondering why it is so shows that, Bitcoin is the most trusted coin in the entire space; since that is true and have been proven as well for years now, I believe BITCOIN is the coin they can be safer with at the initial time. Then when they must have gotten a good knowledge of crypto they can start with altcoins with Eth being the first.

Without knowledge, I dont think bitcoin is a safe asset for novice investors or traders. Are you sure that a beginner can control their desire not to sell the bitcoin he has bought if the price is dump ?

Cryptocurrency trading is a high-risk activity, and is not at all recommended for those who do not have enough knowledge. If they really want to, a beginner can learn first by creating a demo account before they actually trade.

That's right because newbies always buy bitcoin or any other coins in fomo and they don't research properly. That's when they see the downtrend, they also sell the remains btc in panic. As a result , the new comers become disappoint about the bitcoin and get a wrong idea about the cryptocurrencies and blockchain. But it can be profitable for those who will exercise patience and do their own resarch to watch what'll happen in the long run.

no matter newbie, or more experienced trader, you should never invest more that you can handle to lose, but also you should never invest before throughout search and analysis regarding coin and development team the is behind, i do think that only coins with viable products and solutions for recognized issues in the world have future out of the crypto world

Agree, in investing we must always be careful and will also choose safe assets. For Altcoin, top ranking in coin marketcap is the first choice because of the amount of liquidity that is owned as well as projects that are done more legit than others

but usually new traders will find it difficult to find information on whether altcoin is good or not but for new traders or newbies they will find it difficult to get that information, therefore it is better to buy altcoin at the top rank for safer, ethereum and litecoin which in my opinion is still safe for trading.

I'm personally in full agreement with your opinion. The cryptocurrency industry is highly volatile and risky. One could be misinformed to believe that wealth could be accumulated within a short period of time. In most cases the opposite of this works out and leaves many crytocurrency Enthusiasts bankrupt.

Very agree as you say because nowadays new coins are very big risk for us to invest and we are often deceived with their sweet promise that gives us false hope, and in the end we can not get satisfactory results even our capital also disappeared in the project then in this case we have to look safe and choose an altcoin that already has the potential to be able to get the results we expect.

All work can not be separated with risk bro, so it is better to have prior knowledge on everything, rather than immediately believing in a thing, Bitcoin is a good coin in general, but investors have also been disadvantaged when bitcoin prices decline in the market, so be wise in think bro.

Without knowledge, I dont think bitcoin is a safe asset for novice investors or traders. Are you sure that a beginner can control their desire not to sell the bitcoin he has bought if the price is dump ?
I'm not sure, because everyone will definitely sell anything, including Bitcoin when there is a fall in prices on the market, because basically everyone doesn't want to lose money just like that.

Cryptocurrency trading is a high-risk activity, and is not at all recommended for those who do not have enough knowledge. If they really want to, a beginner can learn first by creating a demo account before they actually trade.
Yes, this is a very good solution for those who want to learn, because the risk of trading in the crypto room is not small, if only someone experiences a large loss, then he will return to zero.

Not only newbies but old investors are also safer, top coins are the go to coins right now in this hard times and now that halving is coming, don't experiment with new coins right now, if you can't help it, then invest in minimal amount until you are sure that you are in a right project.

yep newbies should invest in the top cryptos. They should not trust right away with the developers promises that their coin will pump because of their project, this likely a scam it is better to invest in the top cryptos.

for now it's better to trade old coins that already exist, rather than buying new coins, unless you are really ready for the risk posed by these coins.

Marketcap is a meaningless statistic. I could create a new token right now, print 1 billion of them, sell a single token to my friend for $10, and now my market cap is $10 billion and I'm the third "top" coin. Just because an altcoin is in the "top 10", means nothing. At least half the coins in the "top 10" are literal scams.

but you can see from the daily volume of that, if you just sell 1 coin at 10$ nobody will trust your coin  Grin

I generally think that it is best for newbies to buy only the Bitcoin because it will be as safe as possible. as soon as a beginner starts buying altcoins, he goes next than the top coins and then comes to shitcoins

Newbies can feel safe with old coins not the top coins in terms of marketcap because some shitcoin also get bumped intentionally by particular community for the complete dump so don't just invest based on their total marketcap ranking and also concentrate on their price charts, it is has more ups than downs then it is a good coin to invest.

altcoin in the top list is a good choice for major investments such as BTC and some altcoin that are listed in the top 10 in cmc. some of the top coins are real coins and many are used for long-term investment, you need to take part in them.

I would go one step ahead and say that even senior members are only safe with top coins because new projects are massively risky and you never know how it ends up, i have seen so many projects going down that seemed good and practical so staying with top reputed coins is the way to go.
