Newbies are safer with top altcoins

I still think that the top 10 cryptocurrencies have some dangers:

XRP reached  $3 and today does not even exceed  $0.20

Bitcoin Cash reached  $3000 and today it does not even exceed  $250

Bitcoin SV reached  $350 and today it does not even exceed $200

Well, they really are dangerous. Not because they are in the top 10, it doesn't mean that they are really stable nor make you profitable once you have invested. We should realize that even if it is a top altcoin, just like you have shown, it can drop drastically compared to its ATH.

Seeking knowledge first about crypto is the basic fundamental to have before doing investments. And it is always safe for newbies and also to old investors to stick with top coins. Because it is capable of increasing it's price in the long run. While new coins is very risky to invest with.

Well, they really are dangerous. Not because they are in the top 10, it doesn't mean that they are really stable nor make you profitable once you have invested. We should realize that even if it is a top altcoin, just like you have shown, it can drop drastically compared to its ATH.

That's a wrong comparison I think, That's the price comparison during the Altcoin season in 2017 ago, which at that time all Crypto prices flew to the moon. So now all Crypto prices have dropped from their ATH up to 50-90%.

How do you know this? can you control the market so that you can draw a percentage of someone's success in crypto? because sticking to Altcoin top is definitely a good solution at any time, but to predict success in a few percent is a difficult thing to do.

Newbies expecting fast returns out of cryptocurrencies were due to the lack of understanding about the cryptocurrency. People need to learn before making an investment, because a small mistake in selection of the right cryptocurrency could cause a big loss.

Always top altcoins give good earning, but that too won't give take place in a short. User needs to have patience, apart from this trading is good to get return out of cryptocurrencies with minimal investment.

I perfectly agree with you. Many of the top altcoins have lost more than 90% of their value since the ATH in 2017-18. But what about the altcoins, that are outside top-20, or even those outside the top-50? They have fared even worse. Many of them have ceased trading and have become dormant (or even dead). The top altcoins fared badly, but they are at least surviving.

I think yes because usually, most of the newbies are easily attracted especially when the price of altcoins has to increase aside from this, they are thinking about earning instantly without self-control and simply invest due to the expected percentages. For this reason, sometimes more of them turn into tears and I guess they really have to read first to know something before entering the world of crypto to become safe.

I do agree, they really need a lot of time to learn and know what investment they should make. In top altcoins, it will be better because those are the altcoins that are not easy to collapse. They are good for short term and long term investment.

Even if anyone says that it is safer for a newbie to invest in top altcoins, there is no guarantee. Why jump on altcoin without even going through Bitcoin first? It is not possible to go straight to any altcoin project that has not even studied or understood Blockchain technology or Bitcoin itself. Furthermore, it does not mean that it is included in the top ranking will be considered a safe investment immediately. No altcoin investment is safer than Bitcoin. There are many things to consider and it all depends on the use-cases, developments, demand and there is already proven to be really useful in the crypto industry. Not just because of the price or which exchangers it is listed.

This is right! In comparison with other altcoins, top altcoins will be safer for newbies. However, in comparison with big coins such as BTC or ETH, even top altcoins have greater risks than those big coins. I always recommend new traders start trading with top coins such as BTC and ETH because those coins have high volume and liquidity. Furthermore, it contains fewer risks than others. Though, if a trader is confident about his or her skills and want to earn more profits, then go ahead and trade with top altcoins for sure!

Seek for more crypto knowledge before investing in new projects, it's not always that easy to choose, as a newbie it's better to stick with old top altcoins on coinmarketcap, why? Because many newbie are in rush to make fast returns, if you are this type pls go for better top coins, 90% of new coins aren't serious at all, they are here to steal money from investors and give fake promises in return

Cov-19 have been used to scam many newbies and even Corona virus coins are built too which have no real use cases

I think that the best advice for newbie is to "think own head". Because following the advice of more experienced forum users, it falls into hothouse conditions. newbie should be able to absorb information about coins from everywhere and then systematize it and conduct its own analytical calculations.And then make own choice based on own calculations.
