I had a very short stay today, finished second to last on a preflop all-in against Steamtyme's pocket Aces (vs my QQ). If i'm not mistaken this was the third pocket AA on our table in the span of an hour, that's kinda crazy. Anyway, cya all tomorrow!

Betwrong knocked him out btw , alot of player keep raising against him. Overall he is quite good to get into the top 8 spot


20 players and 5000 starting stack, currently there are 6 more players average of 16k chips . This game could go over 3 hours for sure , there are no sign of backing down from all these player and everyone (except me) keep on playing aggresively   Wish me luck

Some quick update: I am loving tonight's tournament and especially my table - this is real fun and how it's supposed to be!

That table was really something and that is what I want from these tournaments as much as possible. As I said multiple times I am in this for the fun not the money and our banter really helped me to get real poker vibe. Unfortunately, somebody registered in the last minute of late regs and I got kicked out from the table. Didn't have the will to play seriously after that with house full of guests and lost my chips in the next few hands.

Anyway, I sent you back that 1000 chips, thanks for sponsoring me

It was nothing more than my luck saved me , that is all  . To be honest I am tired sitting for almost 4 hours playing infront of my computer that is why I call it and went all in. My timezone is not really compatible with the tournament ( It is almost dawn in here lol ) but I try my best to atleast get to the top 2 spot everytime

Was having few good hand but you folded and also was having fun playing for almost 30 minutes just with you alone lol  . Hope we can make it tomorrow

for me it was also a very successful poker evening. right after a few rounds i had less than 2-3000 chips, but then i managed to win a few good hands and had a very good phase which brought me up to 19k chips 
at the final table my luck somehow ran out and i couldn't hold out against the pros anymore  💪

sadly had no electricity for the last 10 hours so my laptop battery died and had only my mobile
usually I attend the course and play the event at the same time but it's kinda impossible to do that with mobile

Thats the shitty thing with tournament poker and also Sit'n Go's to some extent - unless you win the tournament, the last thing you will face is always disappointment and it takes away all the joy you should feel or felt before. You can play very good poker, but you will always leave the table with a bad feeling. It doesn't necessarily have to be a suckout, even if you lose as underdog, this feeling remains. While one should be happy with the accomplishment, it's the defeat at the end, that will dominate our thoughts and mood.

I didn't win a life-changing amount in poker yet (and guess I never will^^), but would be interesting to see, how that one feels then, i.e. runner-up in WSOP or things like that.

I absolutely agree with that statement and that's the reason why I usually prefer cash-game over tournament play - no matter how "good" you play, get unlucky and you are out against poor play and that happened toooo many times already in our series... haha

I know we had this earlier, but it always hurts my eyes seeing people playing with a two-colour deck. So, if you don't do it on purpose for whatever reason, I would recommend to play with 4-colour deck. It's way more pleasant and easier to spot a potential flush as well You will never want to go back to two-colour deck afterwards

Yeah I noticed that you had alot of straight on the games. I really forgot about this game, did we go all in from the start or after the first 3 card on is shown? If we really did all in from the start , I guess you could said that I got lucky with that full house lol  . Cant really fold if you get pair of J in your hand though

Yeah there isnt much of a different, IIRC I and steamtyme was playing for almost half an hour for the first place .

even though you got 2 pair (JJ 1010) early on. I am looking at that like danger.

Anyone with a queen is beating you, anyone with a 10 is even beating you.

And there is sure loosely a straight potential there, despite limited as you have 2 of the 4 jacks that 1 of would be needed to make it.

Am I overthinking things?
