Congratulations @bitmutiny! 

Coming weekend are already the last two games of the series. The time passed quickly again. Somehow it doesn't look good for me in this series and I only got 4 points. Next series I also play with poker cards and not with pokemon cards. Maybe it'll work out better. 

Unfortunately, I have again no time and I also think I have no chance to come into the top 9 anyway. Either way, I wish you all a lot of fun on the next weekend and I'm curious who will participate in the final.

i'm still in it---barely holding onto a spot, tied for 8th with @Improved. i definitely need some points this weekend to avoid getting bumped off.

it's not over until it's over. two strong finishes (top 3?) and you can still make it.

Im just wondering this, is it possible to add some sort of point for knocking out player in the 3rd series later ( Provided that we have the 3rd series ). So instead of trying to get into top ten to get points, some player could also be getting it after they knock someone out.

Something like half point or for each person knocked out (?)

Might trigger some big action from the start of the game I guess or perhaps putting up some point bounty on random person for more points, probably could make the game much more interesting. I am not sure if this is possible so yeah any other thoughts ??

i think everyone got exhausted with trying to figure out the perfect points system.

i'm open to KOs for points, although i find this common situation frustrating: player A takes most of player B's stack, then on a subsequent hand, player C finishes him off. player C gets the points of course, but player A is really the one who should be rewarded.

That kind of situation is tricky indeed, its the same when there was a bounty on Tyki's head. When he was down to his last chip, alot of people was throwing their chips on the table hoping to be the one to knock him out

There is no such perfect system but atleast I thought it could be an alternative to get some points instead of just trying to get into top ten

That is a given. It would be unfair to change rules in the middle of the series without really good reason.

I would love to see something like KO points but it would be a hell to implement fairly and probably not worth the hassle in the end. We should have a simple and straightforward system to make it easier for admins and newcomers.

I agree - we can of course discuss changes in the respective thread SteamTyme created but really, let's try to keep things as simple as possible. I also love bounty kind of stuff, Knockout points etc. but implementing that... that's tough... even finding a consensus is going to be tough, not to mention the implementation.

Honestly, I don't think our current system is "bad" - if we get rid of that late registration in future (that some of you "hate")... I don't really understand what's so bad about how we are rolling atm - the points system could probably be pimped but other than that? Well, share your thoughts! Don't forget though, this is a poker series with a championship game...

I will not be as active as I used to be on bitcointalk going forward for several reasons so the timing isn't really perfect for me, haha - I will still try my best.

No actually this idea was meant for the 3rd series in the first place anyway. I just got this inspiration from you in the last game. To be honest, I managed to get the third spot was because you knocked out alot of player in the last 10 people  

I got 3rd position with 8 points, knocked out probably 1 or 2 guy while you get 9 points at the 2nd position with atleast 5 knockout probably. It was still good that you got the 2nd position and also 9 points but at the same time you could also be not getting any point at all even if you knock alot of people out if you ended up losing before top ten

It is great system indeed , just trying to add some point initiative for all those great knockout

My personal status quo:

- Since switching over to sharing passwords with all "regulars" in advance, things got way easier, so that was a great help for me and we should definitely do this in future, too.

- No more late registration in future series (easy!)

- We need to find a way to get rid of that 200 extra chips sending... I do not mean to get rid of the "extra prize pool" but about the hassle of sending those chips... If anyone can come up with an alternative... that would be greatly appreciated!!

Just sent 400 chips to „youcantwin“, so I'm playing today and tomorrow.

Four players have registered so far for today's tournament, but I'm sure there will be around 20 in the end(it's a pity that not 200, tho).

I went through this thread once again looking at those screenshots, intermediate leader-boards and discussions ... Idk, maybe it's because I'm doing good in the current series, but I enjoy rereading this stuff.

Btw, thanks to @tyKiwanuka and others for suggesting to switch to 4-colour deck! Done. Indeed it is easier to play with a 4-colour deck. No flush will be missed from now on, even after two beers.

It seems vast majority of players prefer to register in the last moment and cut it close. There is still only 4 of us at the table. Maybe that is a part of the tactic so we don't know who we are up against

I am hoping for 18 players total with all the late regs included. That way I can keep my place at the table

I played many times with 4 color decks, but I don't like it at all! I like to see black and red!

I found it weird at first but it's grown on me. It's really useful if I'm playing off my phone or multitabling as I've called before thinking I was chasing a flush and sadly was not,

Yeah I got lucky with my KK against Betwrong they had flopped a set and I turned top set. Rough break for them, a flush draw kept me from trying for max value though.
1r0n1c ran hot there for a bit, they called down 2 streets to make a 4 outer for a straight on the river with A2 I think.

Edit: Sadly no video today. I have no idea why the app and download is all of a sudden blocked by my wife's PC... subtle message maybe lol

This is frustrating. You are pretty sure that you are going to get the hand but when a lower card makes a higher rank then you can not just accept it. Good thing is that you did not go ALL-IN.

I had guests over (some boring relatives from wife side) and one of them came behind me with 5 month old kid which screamed on my ear for the whole time. If I continued I would have killed him (the guy, not the kid) so it was better to donate the chips and go join the company. Glad you got the chips, I bullied you enough times  

Should not have played today but they of course came by without notice so I didn't know.

You made the right call mate, family issue / real life comes first. You can always play tomorrow again.

You get krill when you play cash games! You joined late, there was talk about it already. Few hands with 1/2 blinds and you will have enough to chat!
Trash talk is alright, but there should be some limits! In passion and fire you can say anything, but good friends will understand and forgive! After first series, and close to an end of second series I think we can say for some people here how honest and fair they are!

Final table is on fire! You just got kicked with 44!  Good game, at least some points for you! It will be hard to take down Hhampuz! And Foma is close to the top too! Exciting game, and it's far from over!
