- OMEGA EU Immortal Final - Team Secret - OG/Nigma

one semis and three BO5, that's easily over 12hours of stream!! but i think i'll watch the LEC final (G2 ML in my ticket)...rooting for Nigma to make it to the final (O2.5 maps vs. OG maybe?), and I think FLY have the edge today (nice odds in ML), that win against Cloud9 couple weeks ago was so convincing...

What do you know, we have more coaches admit of using the coach bug:

this could get very, very ugly very soon, the fact that the bus has been around for 3 years makes me think that at some point in some random match A LOT of coaches abused the bug...still waiting to see what happens with the tier 1 teams

we're in the offseason in lol and dota (i don't follow the Dota bts pro americas), so it's gonna be a fw weeks of boredom with only CSGO, but at least european football is back =P anyone watching LCK regionals? i want to see T1 in the finals

the observer didn't know, that's why this bug is known as 'coach bug', the only who knew about it and could exploit the bug was the coach and his cam

Have you guys seen how Nigma just managed to snatch map 1? They were 20k or something down and Alliance was destroying them. Then Alliance decided to go for a base push and managed to get the throne one hit from collapsing when Arc Warden respawned for Nigma and placed a bubble on the throne 3x times in the row and they managed to kill all Aliance heroes twice in that time and then just turned it around. I think Nigma won the map while odds were 1.01 on Alliance.

Go check this one out, it is worth it, believe me. My words don't paint enough of a picture.

First, Omega League Europe was already done and congratulations to Team Secret for another championship that they've made. I hope that when the next year's TI comes, they are consistent and the same. And for this match of Nigma and Alliance although I was quite late to comment about this match, it became trending worldwide. That bubble and throne save made by Miracle and also by other Team Nigma members, it was dope and it led them to comeback. It's the reason why I went with too many Arc Warden in pubs haha.

I have only been following CSGO since a few months ago which means there are only online tournaments, but are online and offline tournaments different? I mean do the underdogs often win in offline tournaments too?

Yeah I hear you after a few awesome runs I have stopped betting on esports for a while.

I built up a nice stack but have fritted it away on weird result after weird result.

Then the cheating thing came out. Sheesh.

there are difference between LAN and online, one of the main difference is the comfort that playing at home will give to underdogs, the tier 1 teams are used to these massive arenas with a huge crowd and a lot of noise so they prolly feel a bit uncomfortable in their home setup. Obviously, THE main difference is ping/delay, but the psychological factor of a csgo arena is very prominent

Don't like this situation in CS where more and more coaches are coming out and confessing something like "I have used coaching bug without knowledge of the team or organization". Have a feeling a bunch of teams has used the bug and profited from it and now when shit has hit the fan everybody has decided that coaches are the ones to take the blame and probably a nice "under the table check" to keep the problem contained.

Waiting for DOTA to make a comeback, CS is just not doing it for me at the moment. I pick few games here and there in some multi but is all for small stakes and with usually unfavorable outcomes.

Yeah, there are still lot of coaches to confess about using this bug. ESIC are investigating this case according to this https://www.hltv.org/news/30240/esic-to-investigate-historical-coaching-bug-abuse-opens-confession-period-for-offenders and have open the time to allow confessions. 

But you can't pick anyone other than coaches since they are the ones abused it while players worked it under the rule. Investigation is still undergoing and will see what penalty they will face.

BTW we have Mousesports vs Nip coming up in a few hours. I have a feeling that NIP are gonna wrap it up quickly but that's just a hunch not a strong one.

I'm keeping an eye on Astralis too, gonna wait and see if they'll start dominating the Pro league season now that gla1ve is back    we still have plenty of time to decide

Look at this beautiful 3 team parlay yesterday, how can Gen.G do this to me, after getting fnatic's win and heroic's o2.5??? It's just not fair, but that's what happens when i reach to NA scene for a pick. Anyway, a new day and a new multi to get back on track: Winstrike (+1.5) + Vitality (1.5) + Furia (-1.5) total odds 3.03

I have over 2.5 for this match so I need Vitality to take one map as well. Of course first map is nuke and second map is Vertigo. I don't remember Vitality ever playing on Vertigo and they picked it. Let's hope they know what they are doing and that each team will take their map pick

Strong T side for them on Vertigo, it was so bad at one point dupreeh flipped it off while on camera. haha
Winstrike about to lose their match, glad they won on AVEZ map pick with a nice comeback.
Furia had some trouble in the first map vs. Triumph, but Triumph with no economy, no chance really.

Yeah, it went 2-1 to Nip. Mousesports seems to be doing good without woxic , at least better than how they were performing recently. Was a close match especially the 3rd map. They did well to push the 3rd map - train to overtime but it was mostly frozen who did the last lifting to push to the OT but still they weren't able to defeat them.

Anyway good sign for mousesports but right now they need more than that.

Faze has always these amazing players on paper and are definitely a favourite, but are choking to win anything big. Navi with simple is also a huge fan favourite so upside might be very limited.

I haven't seen BIG's recent matches but they were playing good a month ago. I couldn't recall what that tournament was but they ended up winning it. They have really good players as well.

On other hand Faze has also good players like Niko, rain, and coldzera but they have lost their chemistry a lot with recent changes. It would take time to build up.

I sure hope so, I have that match as over 2.5 on my multi since it looks like they will need 3rd map decider. This one I plan to watch, it should be an interesting match.

I also have Nexus - Secret as over 2.5 on that same multi but I have a feeling this one will screw with my ticket. Nexus started really well on Secret's map pick but it is still early so who knows.

Watched that? It was crazy match. BIG were good and kept things tight for Heroic. Many Ace moments in the match and it was really worth watching. Crazy plays and strategies from both sides. It was a fun packed match.

It went to 3rd map to Nuke like predicted and BIG kept things close on Nuke but didn't made out at last.
