Apex might be a great game, but is it a great spectator game and its not a given it can be bet on and so on.   Usually the game needs to relatable and straightforward to support good audience figures, I reckon CS is ideal because how obvious an outcome: exploded or not for round conclusions.   I have a bias towards simplicity that's my take on alot of things in terms of mass success.   I reckon team or games with alot of teamwork are for some reason better for betting also.

Thats good but I never think of this one for betting, not right now anyhow.

Easy money on Gambit. OG are no match for Gambit.

Big player I know just said Gambit fall apart as soon as they have to justify themselves on LAN.   They have a world title winner but I dont doubt dynamics will change not to mention the idea of new maps and other changes.  I like Valve for this reason, they just keep messing with stuff for fun but often it can upset too especially pro teams with months of practise

So you were completely right with you prediction. I really thought that EG would have a realistic chance to beat them but PSG.LDG was just on another level in terms of group fights and also strategically. In the second match EG was up for the most part of the match but PSG.LDG was smart enough to avoid big group fights and waited for their chance. Then after they have won their first big group fight the momentum shifted heavily and EG had no chance anymore. PSG.LDG is probably the best team in the world right now.
Also i have to say, now that we have seen every team lose against them, that Nigma looked probably best against them even better then EG, so i really hope Nigma qualifies for TI.

I agree with STT, Apex and the other battle royale games are a bit complicated since the format is different compared to the other esport titles where it's very clear cut like hitting a goal on rocket league or taking down the enemy base on Dota or League. As much as I enjoy watching others play battle royale games it's just not my cup of tea for betting.

Now that the major is over, time to head back to some LPL action going for a risky play today with EDG -1.5@1.96 vs RA last week EDG was very likely to drop a map against IG but they manage to pull off an impressive comeback during game 2. RA could easily take a map off EDG but i'm still not convinced on their recent performance.

Even if it's complicated, they still have figured out how to make a system to do a tournament anyways. Also, I do like Battle Royal tournaments because they are rare and there isn't a lot of people who are playing it in a professional level.

This is sad for team OG but I think Jerax and Ana already don't have any passion to play Dota 2 anymore but well, they're now millionaires and now on their retirement can enjoy anything that they can with their time and life outside Dota 2 professional life.
I agree that the best candidate to replace him is Sumail, going to pos 1. He has with OG before but due to the unstable connection and high ping, because he's not in the Bootcamp, he has to be kicked.

Any other day i would've gone with NIP to win, but COL have been playing good CS lately. Ovp to NIP, Nuke or Mrg to COL and ancient as the decider?

Hopefully they make it work this time since I enjoyed watching Sumail play with Team Liquid. 

I also like the o2.5 since NiP rarely gets the sweep but I already took them to win @1.73. I guess Nuke is the likely pick for Complexity since NiP winrate looks abysmal on that map then maybe the decider is Mirage since both of them have decent results.

Probably they choose not to play in the competitive scene anymore but its hard to believe that they wont play Dota anymore. It was expected especially if you won TI back to back, thats literally the highest achievement that you can get from Dota 2 competitive scene and its always good to stop while you are still on top.

Hopefully they make it work this time since I enjoyed watching Sumail play with Team Liquid. 

I guess we shall see, the first game for the ESL One Summer 2021 tomorrow is OG vs AS Monaco Gambit. I personally think that Sumail didnt fit in with Team Liquid in The Animajor but it could be a different story with OG.

No matter what the reason is then that would be personal but i wont be surprised that they would just simply go back and farm out some Millions again.

Its just sad that OG original roster isnt complete yet and there are even rumors that Ceb would step down too. Newly patched up sumail might do but

Rolling with Navi -1.5 vs Faze, at even odds this seems like a solid play given that Faze barely played these past few months and still struggling to find any success.

Watching ESL One right now. The match is VP against OG. A team(VP) that has already been qualified to the TI and a former two time TI champ but still needs to get in to the upcoming qualifiers. I've chosen to watch this as Sumail is in and I've missed to watch their first match against Gambit. Whoever gets to read this right now, the game is in the draft phase.

yes it was hard to say butt we was right realy great matches an Ninjas play very good and win the Lower round 1.

Even though Navi got the win, I have to say that Faze looked a bit better with olofmeister in the lineup.

Gambit seems way too favored in their match against Complexity given that their last series ended up in a decider, initially leaning on the over but I ended up taking the +1.5 handicap @1.69 incase they take the first map.

Also interesting to see Damwon swapping roles today as Canyon playing mid and Showmaker playing adc against Afreeca(score currently 1-0 for Damwon).

Well Alliance won that series with 2-0, good performance from them. Team secret now has to play through the lower bracket and will face Team Nigma next, which has lost 0-2 against Viking.GG which was pretty surprising to me, as Team Nigma was closest on beating PSG.LDG at the animajor.
OG also won their first series against Gambit but lost in the second round against Virtus Pro, so OG has to beat Team Liquid now in the lower bracket to advance. As far as i know even if OG wins this tournament they would not have enough DPC points to go to TI. So their last chance is to go through the EU open qualifier tournament in july.

I had Alliance +1.5 so that 2nd map was enough to tick off first game from my multi. First map was maybe most one sided map I have seen in a long long time.

2nd game on my multi was Sweden to win and 3rd game is T1 to win. Then a bit more football to clinch big win.
