I must admit that after losing two big hands and down to 1.7kish chips, I lost my mind. I was recovering well and managed to get 3.6kish chips but dumb play and lack of luck (luck favored tyKiwanuka) I am out at 13th I guess.

GG everyone, 500 krill killed my chat options so I couldn't speak on SwC, hopefully this will get back to 50 krill before next tournament. These are my first points in this series, not much but better than 0.

Could have been much more if there wasn't that hand against @tyKiwanuka which demoted me from top 3 straight to the bottom. Good hand mate. By the way I forgot to tell you that your entry for Seria A predictor pool will be double  see what I did there? A little fun and another advert for our pool

Good luck to all remaining players, I am on vacation on a remote island and we just lost electric power, so maybe it is better I am out of the game since my laptop is on 15%. Would be very nervous if I was gunning for the victory.

Finally after 6 game of not finishing in the money, Im back and finished on the 3rd spot + bounty.  

I wished I could finished on top but Iv4n beat me up with a flush, I wasnt expecting him to get a flush and Im pretty confident with my pocket 10. I need to work on my game, I feel that I got too predictable when it comes to lesser player on the table

No. The user is no scammer (I think), just unreliable and careless, so I will get the money back sooner or later.

Since it shouldn't be much of a challenge to finish higher than efialtis, I will bravely re-invest my expected bounty into another WILDCARD for todays tournament. Same rules as before:

Good to see I am still in Top 9 at the half way of series. Another bad week for me. Lost a hand with AA against 222 and since then I almost lost my touch. Never recovered from fall and eventually eliminated.

I think it's time to revamp my approach to game. First two weeks were good for me but since last two weeks, I am playing on PokerStars on Sundays too and the speed of game in BTCTalk series is slow as compared to PokerStars. As a result, I fail to make impact here. So this week I will try not playing poker on PokerStars and concentrate on SwC with different strategy.

gg fellas. Just for the record I had to take my dogs for a walk b4 this massive thunderstorm hit so I was playing super aggro in heads-up, as Iv4n can attest to. Just pushing hard with everything, didnt have time for a long heads up match, managed to get ahead once, then got owned   Got the walk in before it rained tho!

Haha, yeah, if I was superstitious I'd surely blame you, @tyKiwanuka, for my yesterday's finishing out of the top 10. But I'm not. I think that even if every event in the universe affected every other event, then my choosing Coca Cola over Pepsi earlier that day, would have the same impact on the result of yesterday's game as your post.

Thanks man! We had a great game last night, and luck was on my side, I had stronger pairs in a couple all-in situations before flop. I think Obaming was on my right side and I caught him too, my two 8s against his two 5's.
Well its poker, you can't be on the winning side all the time, sometimes cards are f. up from start till the end, and you can't do anything about it! Third game was like that for me. In that game I paid 63 and flop was Q33, on river I saw that 6! I lost from qqq33 in the end, and lucky I didn't go all in on that full house, I survived somehow, with huge loss! Soon after that hand came, and to me that all in looked like bluff, and I had AQ and possibility for flush, but your aces were strong. I tried and I lost, it's why we have next game to try to be better!
As I said many times I enjoy playing this tournament with all of you, when I win it's nice, but I don't get grumpy when I lose!

You took your chances and it worked. There is nothing to say sorry mate. I was the one who did not play well, I will need to improve my game and need to learn how to come back after losing some big hands. I have seen feels to comeback from the bottom and to earn some good points.

I get the people who go all in right away from the start so that they could start with more chips and have an advantage or just leave early, but I am not one of them, if I am just actually playing and doing my best and lose at the very first table, I would feel very very horrible about it hence why I couldn't get in. Kudos to winners so far, I would bet on bitmutiny to win after this, half is already over and dude is way ahead of everyone else .

I can just speak from my experience. I had few good runs in some tournaments and I had many quick exits. How I cope with the situation when someone destroys me? Well that depends on the reason why I got destroyed. If it was my fault I try to learn from my mistake and do better next time. If the other guy just had better hand and I did everything as I should I just go over it without a second thought. That things happens in poker often and you just have to learn to cope with it. Some hands go your way while some don't, all you can do is play percentages to try to swing the game to your favor more often than not.

I started with this series at time I had to be at home because of corona lock down and was fully expecting to stop playing when life gets back to normal. Guess what? I got hooked and played every single tournament in all our series so far. I had great fun and can't imagine my Sunday without a game of poker now. I feel like I know most of the regulars now and that is a great thing.

I guess it comes down to the money in the end. You have to comfortable with the amount you are gambling with, otherwise you just end up in downward spiral and that is no fun. My mate tyKiwanuka has graciously offered to sponsor one new player and I believe you tick all the boxes, so scroll up few posts and apply if you are interested to try our series.

keep in mind, the series doesn't pay based on finish. it's more like a satellite---the top 9 advance to the final. IIRC, championship odds based on series performance haven't played out very well so far.

a 9-man SNG plays pretty different than an ~18-man or ~27-man, plus variance and all that.
