Right! Coming GRS developments?

Check this thread on 22 March  Grin

I can't find anything?

still can't find anything?  Don't need to be shy, it's ok to say that you were surprised.
Did Joe already announce his absence for the coming 2 months or not yet?

Are there any plans on POS implementation in the future? I remember hearing something about this a while back...

Quoting an old post from Gruve_p:

Hi!

Implementing gimmicks like social tab, anon, pos etc does not help a currency succeed, only liquidity, merchants and users help.
Groestlcoin does not need any more improvements, it needs acceptance. In the upcoming months we will concentrate on more tools for users which will be announced here on this thread by their developers. We will concentrate later on merchants and liquidity.

First usertool will be announced next week as a Christmas present. It will be released as a fully functional beta version. Untill that time keep mining Groestlcoins.

Best Regards,

gruve_p

I completely agree. And I think GRS can definitely stand on it's own two feet without the need for such improvements. But I don't think I'd go as far as calling POS a gimmick in the same category as something like a 'social tab'. Of course, these days POS has more or less become a parlor trick for those looking to turn a quick profit. But when implemented for the right reasons, it can play important role in keeping a blockchain healthy and secure. Beyond that, it's further incentive for an investor to hold onto a coin. Just my thoughts on the matter. He's right though, GRS definitely doesn't 'need' anything like that to succeed.

Cheers Wink

I personally don't think that a POS coin will ever succeed. Anway we have released several tools, you should check them out if you look for new things of Groestlcoin

Surprize me, by higher GRS prices.
Any idea why no one is interested in buying this coin?
Exchange prices going up and down around 150 sat for a whole year now.
Your coin is not dying, but also not living very happy.
What can be wrong?
Developments are very nice!

This is how crypto works. Everytime good news come out, the price goes down. Short term investors want to cash out on the news. Higher price is only good to get more attention from miners.
We had forseen the lower price, so all is good. Low price helps to get more new people into GRS,  let the price grow naturally instead by manipulation. In general people are afraid to buy coins because of all the scam news coming out, none coins are really alive at the moment (in my opinion price of bitcoin and litecoin are very undervalued also for eample. They are wondering also why the price are so low and not going up). Things will improve for a while when BTC will hit its next bubble. Till that time, surviving the year is most important as I expect 25% of the altcoins to die this year (just a gut feeling)

To be honest the distribution of Groestlcoin is one of the best. Check on https://chainz.cryptoid.info/grs/#!rich the all wallets (at the pie chart). I believe we are in the top10 of all wallets.
For example check Magi: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/#!rich There are only 3574 wallets, grs has 11836 wallets. Ofcourse all wallets doesn't say anything if a coin is good or bad, but it does say something about the interest of the coin.

If your only interested in higher price of GRS to cash out, that's not going to happend short term as we have no short term marketing plans but only development plans for now. If people want marketing or higher price: nobody is stopping you from promoting or buying it.

Somebody sells GRS for good price! My wallet increased + 40k coins  Cool
Why somebody sells when coin develops so good?  Huh
I remember how was bought pizza for 40k btc... One day crypto kills fiat currency.

Current people are not in crypto for the blockchain technology or because they believe in the project. They are in it because they want profit on the short term.
Your wallet increased because somebody was unpatient.

Thank you for your support!

When the interest and/or the price would be better you could hire other devs, like Magi Joe. Grin

Joe has personal problems and needs approx 2 months to sort them out.
He wont be busy with crypto the coming 2 months. We wish him luck with his challenges
