[ANN][GRS] Groestlcoin | 1st to activate Segwit & Taproot

Only have 2 servers to choose from.  Both give good connections.  
But nothing changes.  Still says "Not yet redeemed" in explorer, Still says "unverified" in wallet.

I have electrum wallets for Bitcoin and Litecoin and never had this problem.  Maybe i should stop mining this coin as i will soon have more coin being sent to me.

It's totally normal that it says not yet redeemed on block explorer, because it has indeed not been redeemed.

I have this problem sometimes with Bitcoin (http://bfy.tw/6c3u) and Groestlcoin, and it was fixed by switching servers.
Basicly it means that even if it says unverified, you can still send the coins because they are verified.

Either:

1. Ignore the unverified transaction. If you send any grs it will still send.
2. Switch servers by manually selecting a server without SSL. (works sometimes)
3. Create another wallet in Electrum-GRS (File - New) and reopen the old wallet. This works mostly for me.

What a headache.  Is there a portable version.  So i have to download another wallet and wait for it to sync... again.... so much time spent on this already.  Can someone send me their address and i will send them some GRS to see if it works?  That will be quicker.

LOL, no need for drama. Are you sure u know what u are talking about? You do know that Electrum-GRS does not need syncing? U didnt had to spent so much time on it, just 2 minutes. Electrum-GRS is syncless are there is no need to download blockheaders.

Yer, getting it mixed up with feathercoin.  Electrum-GRS is a lite type and only uses headers.  Just had another payment come in.  Getting a bit stressed as i got them coming in thick and fast.  Another 10 GRS with the same problem

there are no known issues. But if bitdefender is blocking the wallet then that would explain the symptoms u are having. Did u write ur seed words for electrum? (of not - go to: wallet - seed and write it down). Restore the wallet on another pc with your seed and it should be fine.

My mining software is yam yvg 1900.  It is not running on this machine.  It is running on a  4 card GPU rig.  I didnt want to put a wallet on the mining rig as it has limited hard drive space plus, i do not want to tie up CPU power running a wallet.  The GPUs are mining feathercoin, the CPUs are mining Groestl.  Adding even a thin wallet will reduce the rigs hashpower.  Also, i don't want to have to setup a monitor and keyboard an sit among the hot air and noisy fans every time i want to access my coin.  I would prefer not to be in the same room as the miner.

My GRS is currently building up at Suprnova pool and i do not want to disturb the part of the system that is working well, i.e. the mining rig, it's software and it's pool settings.  Also, this would not solve my problem of not being able to access my coins.  I just want a wallet i can carry around and to be able to go on the blockchain and get to the coins that are pilling up at my address.  I hope you understand that it is just a functioning wallet that i need.  I want to be able to send and receive my GRS from a laptop.  I am not changing anything on the rig.

I have another laptop that i can download and install an electrum-GRS 2.5.4. so i will do that.
I will try my seeds in it and see if i can access my coin that way.  I wish all these coins had potable wallets like electrum LTC and electrum BTC.   I could keep them all on a USB stick, and access my Crypto Currencies on any PC.

Ok, so the fault i had was with electrum-grs 2.5.4 on my windows 7 64-bit laptop is as follows..... 
The transactions (under history) are listed as "unverified" even though the wallet has synched, it has the green spot ok on bottom right corner so it has connection to a server and is displaying the correct ballance.  I cannot however, send my coin to address FWqvMkKGZowp9D4HXktQZS5krDyfLC11TL. (transaction fee 0.02grs)

I have now installed electrum-grs 2.5.4 on my windows 7 32-bit laptop.  I used the same seed.  The installation went well and the Anti-Virus detected no issues. However,.....
The transactions (under history) are listed as "unverified" even though the wallet has synched, it has the green spot ok on bottom right corner so it has connection to a server and is displaying the correct balance. I managed to send 1 groestl coin to address FWqvMkKGZowp9D4HXktQZS5krDyfLC11TL. (transaction fee 0.02grs).  Balance has adjusted correctly.

Could it be an issue at Supranova?  Did they pay enough transaction fee? (their transaction fee o.ooo1grs) Coins still building up at Supranova, checkout threshold is now not set. It is set to manual checkout.

Currently have 13 comfirmations at time of posting to FWqvMkKGZowp9D4HXktQZS5krDyfLC11TL

OK, it seems that when i tried to un-install Electrum-grs 2.4.5 from the Windows 7 64bit machine, Malwarebites Anti-Ransomware (BETA)0.9.16.484 detected it as a threat and quarantened files from AppData/Local.  It had quarantened other Electrum-grs 2.4.5 files too.

I now have groestlcoin-lite_windows-x64_0_14_0 running on the Windows 7 64bit machine without issue.  Receiving payments from Suprnova OK.

I managed to send the coin that was in the Electrum-grs 2.4.5 wallet to the groestlcoin-lite_windows-x64_0_14_0 wallet
by installing it on the Windows 7 32bit machine.  It never showed any conformations and always displayed "unverified".  

At least i got my coin to send from there.  Electrum-grs 2.4.5 wallet now uninstalled from the Windows 7 32bit machine and laptop is having a good clean with Malwarebites and Bitdefender.

@jackielove4u Thanks for the help..... i take it you got the 1 GRS?   I'm interested to see if you see it as "unverified"?

For what it's worth:
- I got the 1 grs and it says verified.
- It seems the problem is not related with Electrum-GRS (i got it working on several pc's) but with Malwarebites Anti-Ransomware. I do not have Malwarebites Anti-Ransomware installed.

It is not a issue at Suprnova. It is a communication problem between the client and the Electrum server (i saw this similar problem also with Original Electrum on my pc). I have asked the devs to reboot the Electrum servers, could u check if it still says unverified?
