Nice, let's run it back, i have a title to defend. 

I'm hoping for 10+ guys again, though it could be a reach. Last season, we had 11, and i see a few names from our pool are inactive (forum wise).

You'd think that with the everyday activity the main Serie A thread generates, we'd be able to acquire some fresh blood, but last year there was barely any interest, peeps over there only for the spam, don't care about prediction pools and stuff. Dummies don't know what they are missing...

So yeah, you can count me in!

Time has come to start this pool as well. I'll edit the OP a little later but you all know how it works by now. I am happy to announce we will have 2 sponsors this year. Our main Sponsor Sportsbet and our second sponsor our very own buwaytress like last year.

Just read that Lukaku is going back to Chelsea for 120M but Inter is getting only 60M, 60M goes to united cause of past debts and 10 percent of next transfer. That probably means Inter is back to fighting for Europe spots and not challenging title. Would love Atalanta to take it this year but Juve will probably have different ideas.

I have a stupid question: is this thing a GO if we don't reach 10 players? As i stated last month, we are going to be missing at least four people from last year, and there is virtually no outside interest for this pool. Sorry if this comes out pessimistic, but it is what it is...there is still time though, so who knows.

Good question, never even thought about it this season. I believed that we will have a player or two more than last season not less. I'll shoot PM's to last year participants next week and maybe it is time to start a small marketing campaign on the forum. Find a way to mention our pool in league threads and PL pool thread. I already mentioned it in Sportsbet main thread.

I really hope we will get to at least 10 people. 15-20 would be perfect though. If we don't get them I'll have a chat with our main sponsor and see what is their take on situation but I believe it will be a go and that we will have more than 10 people.

It's a season long pool. Entry fee is only 1 mbtc, but prize pool is already above 50 mbtc, and first place gets 50% of that. Serie A regulars should have an edge over the part-timers like myself.

Sorry, I'm in almost every pool (I want to say all of them but there could be one I'm not in haha) so it's a total blur for me. Last season in 5 pools: EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Copa, UCL... Not even sure if there were any for EURO or World Cup in past seasons I swear I can't keep up anymore!

But please, join the La Liga one too then, it's the same deal as always!

Don't worry about Messi. He's not going anywhere.

Why in the world would you tag(invite) this shithead?

I don't want to sound like a jerk but if this guy is allowed to join i have to back out of this thing. If you don't know what i'm talking about, you can check my neutral feedback on their profile and follow the link. Out of the 400+ accounts i've reported for plagiarism over the past few years, this guy is the absolute worst. Probably 90% of his posts on the gambling board since New Year are either direct plagiarism or google translated off Italian media.  I have a half-dozen good reports on him (three times as much still unhandled), and it baffles me that he hasn't been banned yet. But, i suppose, if you buddy-buddy with a merit source in your locale and obtain some merits, mods are willing to turn a blind eye. smh

I know this pool is desperate to get new people in, but we should never allow cheaters and subhuman plagiarists, period.

Yikes. Just a name I see in Serie A thread a lot. Didn't know it's google translated Italian stuff. Removed the username from all posts already. Also surprised he's not banned then if all the reports about him are true. Hard to tell myself if it's not a language I know.

Would not say desperate, I already said that it would be easy to get more participants if I just advertised at bigger bookies. However I don't want bunch of random people in the pool. I want established members of this forum that enjoy gambling, unfortunately there is not an endless supply of such members

Not gonna comment on that specific user situation since I have no previous experience with him. Will take a closer look in case it becomes important for these pools I am running.

Did not made the actual pools on Superbru yet, you can expect to get the link next Tuesday I am on holiday and have limited access to my wallets and accounts so it will have to wait until then. Still plenty of time, we have 2 weeks before first game in Serie A or La Liga.

I decided to start the pools this week while on holiday since I expected BTC to do well short term and wanted to lock in participation fee amounts  and sponsorship money. Lot's of people still looks at BTC trough dollar glasses and it isn't the same for them if BTC is just above 30k or if it starts getting closer to 50k.

You early birds got the better part of the deal, participation fees are growing by the hour

I haven't checked, how many users paid for La Liga and Serie A pool so far? I hope that we will get at least 10 participants. But 15 or more would be more fun obviously .
