Whole season of fun for just 1 mBTC Some interesting games on Matchday 1: Torino - Atalanta, should be hell of a match, gonna watch this one Roma - Fiorentina, hopefully Mou will not make Roma park the bus, they don't know how to do it Sampdoria - AC Milan, interested to see how Milan will look this season New challenge is up by the way: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354144.msg57727316#msg57727316

you did not mentioned match between Cagliari and Spezia, should be boring as hell regarding Roma, will be interesting to see how they will be play this season, I do expect from them to try to be into top4, and to let Conference League for reserves (although they have chances to win that competition, bearing who is playing in mind) Inter is opening the season with Genoa, will be interesting to see Dzeko playing there

Speaking of Mourinho, 12 teams will begin the season with new head coaches, not sure if that's a record, significant number nonetheless.
I don't understand how a mediocre coach like D'Aversa (relegated with Parma last season) or someone like Thiago Motta (one win in nine matches as Genoa manager) can get a job in Serie A again. But teams passing, or in Davide Nicola's case, Torino not renewing his contract. He pulled a miracle last year and saved their asses, and now he doesn't get a chance to establish himself as a coach, sorry but that's just dumb.
I'm particularly interested in what happens with Alessio Dionisi, the new Sassuolo coach, who had a fantastic season with Empoli in Serie B last year. Sarri is another name i'm looking forward to, he won a title with Juventus two years ago but things didn't go well there. Nobody can question what he did with Napoli while he was their coach though, they had almost guaranteed finish in the top three every year and were on the verge of winning the title in his final season. I'm not saying Lazio has the right personnel that fits his style of coaching but if they get to a good start, Biancocelesti fans can hope for a good year and possibly top4. We will see...

I remember Motta and his "revolutionary" tactics with 3 defenders and seven midfielders, no sttackers He is just asking for jokes on his account after bad results. Damn, you are an expert for Serie A. Ok time to ban you from our just for fun pool Just kidding of course, but since you will mop the floor with us casuals you could at least post some nice tips for us to make the money back from bookies. My go to market has been both to score in Serie A last two seasons and it served me very well. Especially with teams like Juve who had granite defense in the past and odds were still 1.8 even though they conceded almost every game.

I remember Motta and his "revolutionary" tactics with 3 defenders and seven midfielders, no attackers He is just asking for jokes on his account after bad results. I give him less than 20% chance of not getting sacked before the end of the season, the only thing working in his favor is that teams coming from Serie B aren't that good (except for Empoli, maybe). I had a somewhat good look at them over the weekend in the 1/32 finals of Coppa Italia, was not really impressed. Just kidding of course, but since you will mop the floor with us casuals you could at least post some nice tips for us to make the money back from bookies. I didn't really do terribly last season, only missed out from the prizes by a whisker. Hoody sure does have his Serie A game up to the sky, and anyone from the pool would need just more thank luck to compete over 38 weeks. However, it's game on, huh!

If you guys could be so kind to share a strategy, BTTS I will accept for now but is it possible to work for 3rd season in a row? I have chiefly my bets on English and UCL but might try out Italian bets now I know there are so many experts here Betting strategy I mean not prediction, since we all want to keep our secrets And thanks for the challenge. I enter my picks soon!

It is not like it is fixed game, it is simply our analyses of the clubs. Some will be winning predictions, some will fail badly but we should share as much as possible. It will not have big influence on our pool for sure. If I give picks for 2 games per week there is still 8 games staying "secret". 14 of us in the pool so far, respectable number for good season.

and Inter started with a smash, Genoa is not opponent that could challenge what they can offer, but 4:0 is good sign for the season, and Dzeko seemed as really good addition to the team
other match in Verona seemed as a draw, but Sassuolo will obviously had another good season, they were my "boogie" team last season, and will be this season as well, I simply do not believe in them

3-5-2 typical inter milan .. they played this formation successfully since mourinho glorious era and the last time used again by antonio conte who well known also loves to play this formation and winning the serie A title but it has a lot of vulnerabilities just like what we have seen in this match where inter attack aggressively but also got counter-attacked easily.. luckily they defend it quick and prertty well, inzaghi seems fit to i nerazzurri , sweet win on the 1st giornata. well done.

Inter were utterly rampant, way beyond my expectations to be very honest, I didn't foresee a flawless victory for Inzaghi's men. Lazio are all over Empoli right now with a 3 - 1 lead at halftime, but my wild card pick in Atalanta are just a goal ahead, I'd really need 2 goals more from this fixture to make my today's betting a profitable one.

Alot of goals in the matches I watched on matchday 1 of this league and it was a bit more interesting than the ones I watch in the epl earlier on. Inter Milan match didn't disappoint with 4 goal to nil and it was a great game to watch if your just sitting down to see Serie A league play for the first time. Because usually I just bet on the favorites and don't end up watching the games, but since being in the pool this year I decided to keep my afternoon's free to see what I was missing out on. The next one was Atalanta who didn't go away after losing the lead half way through the next 45 minutes. Scoring a game winning goal at the last minute of injury time made for an enjoyable match to end the day. Can't wait for the next set of matches for tomorrow and expecting alot more goals from Juventus, Napoli and Roma.

Looking at Genoa, this might be a disastrous season, especially up front, where i'm not sure who will be the guy and score goals for them. They started the match with 38 old Pandev and some kid i've never heard of before. Shomurodov to Roma, Scamacca to Sassuolo and Mattia Destro wants out, <--- these three combined scored almost 30 goals for Genoa last season. They better find a new striker or else... Pedro joined Lazio just two days ago, "first transfer between the cross-city rivals in 40 years", and immediately put in the starting lineup by Sarri, interesting move. I'm surprised at how well Torino played today, missed on a bunch of good chances, did not deserve to lose like that.

They had to lose since I had them as draw in the pool. Same as LFC and Newcastle got their goals overruled by VAR since I needed just those goals for correct scores Did not watch the match but I saw by the stats that Torino destroyed Atalanta in second half, was sure they are gonna score while they were still losing 0:1. Inter started well into the new season and it is always nice for new players to open their account with goals, take so much pressure away for future.
Edit: 15 of in this pool, everybody who promised to play paid already and I am thinking that will be our final number for this season. As I said I will leave some more time for new players to join (until 01.10.2021.) but I don't expect anyone to do that. Will work out the exact prizes at that time, you have rough idea in the OP.

yeah, great start for Lazio, and Sergej MS had great game, with 94/100 score on Sorare, which is mostly enough for me to pass reward threshold with all five players, expecting great season from him had 1:2 for Torino in the pool, did not watch the match, but I am pleased to have one exact score in first four matches

I KNEW Juventus would have a first game problem but why did I change my score back to win? Because I overthought the game I have no problem sharing my predictions, and I believe there will be others as well. It is not like it is fixed game, it is simply our analyses of the clubs. I was just joking of course,,, I am always sharing predictions before joining this pool and I am seldom, seldom ever changing my mind even when seeing expert picks. Very good number I agree. Especially when I remember I was asked to join it was not yet even 10:)

^ I had a parlay that lost 2 out of 5 legs: Lyon and Juventus... and both were playing pretty bad teams, both of them even dropping points late, though I saw Ronaldo actually had a 94th min goal disallowed. Really tough as I'd otherwise at least get my bet back with SB free insurance.
Didn't expect to be top of this table so far, but I guess that's what I get for picking favourites.

You started the pools in top form this season, but it isn't how you start them it is how you finish them. I was actually 3rd in the pool for whole season last year and then lost my place one week before the pool finished. Of course I finished 4th in the other pool as well, just outside the rewards in both pools... This season has to go better, right? Watched Juve game towards the end, they can be happy they did not loose it. Before Ronaldo scored that disallowed goal they looked ready to capitulate.

2 yellow caps to buwaytress and Harkorede wow! And I luckily went for Milan win but looks like it was a very close game in the end happy I got the point. Didn't expect to be top of this table so far, but I guess that's what I get for picking favourites.
I thought you always pick the non-favorites though? I mean, you are always against City in EPL,,, and I saw the old posts on last season and you always picked against Juventus;)

Damn, I am bottom of the pool, never started this badly before. I guess I'll need some time to figure out current form of Serie A teams. Went for couple of surprises but all the wrong ones.
Some rumours flying around about Ronaldo wanting to leave Juve. Don't think it is very likely since nobody has the money for him now that PSG signed Messi.
Inter bought Belotti for 15M, sounds like great deal for them considering amounts other clubs pay for players these days.
