Real needs to be updated, it's inevitable. Now, thanks to the crisis at United, both the club and the player will get good money for this transition, so there is no reason to be sad.

Sevilla played 1:1 with Valladolid, that is on a thin form, and it could be seen that this will be a tough season for them, it is not about two bad scores in first two rounds, it is more about play and team morale

When i see yesterday Sevilla dont winning his match i really cant believe.
Espanyol even cant win with one more man, and one player of them make a stupid play and put the game again in 10 against 10 player, after that Rayo win the game.

Atletico got slap at home against Villarreal. Didn't watched game in full, but seems that it wasn't typical Atletico game without dangerous moments. Strong start ofseason for Yellow Submarines.
Real had easy game against Celta, I just want to mention one moment. Benzema let Hazard to score penalty and maybe got some confidence. Surprise surprise, he missed.
Now waiting for Barca game against Real Sociedad. Anoeta used to be very difficult place for Barca, but in recent seasons curse is already broken.

Sociedad is not an easy team to beat for most of the clubs in La Liga, Barca actually did much better than I expected them. My both to score bet passed nice and early just how I like it 

2 boring games today, at least on paper but maybe we get some surprises, not gonna watch or bet on them. Evening is desreved for Liverpool.

In addition to Sevilla, Atlético let me down 
If this is a sign that Atlético have not become better than last season, then I would say that for me now only one position is known - Real Madrid champions, the rest will have similar chances of 2nd place and below. But the fact that Sevilla is weaker than last season is obvious. Barcelona's yesterday's victory also seemed unconvincing to me - it is not known how the game would have gone if that offside had not been recognized as active.

Some really bad luck and some excellent goalkeeping prevented Athletico Madrid from scoring in that match. Furthermore, the red card for Molina was not needed at all. I mean he should have kept his mouth shut and shouldn’t have pushed his opponent like that. It is understandable that something like this can happen when you are losing to basically a weaker opponent. But a player should never lose his composure under any circumstances. On the other hand, Real Madrid played really well against Celta.

In the Barcelona versus Real Sociedad match, the result is 1-4 in favor of Barcelona. Barcelona won the match quite easily. Probably this is the start of a positive thing for Barcelona.

Yes trofo i put a draw because Barca strugled a lot in San Sebastian (home of Real Sociedad) in the past seasons, i remember also Messi cant score so much in a lot of games in that place, but idont know if the new stadium or what this Barca destroy Sociedad, as i said this i have to say the result its not fair with the match, because in the first half Ter Stegen makes a huge saves.

And Sevilla making Sevilla things, Atletico cant find the good old form. This new kind of playing from Simeone (most fordward), doesnt fit well.

This week has really been a very interesting one for me in the pools. I won the yellow cap in the La liga. However I got a wooden spoon in the Serie A. Furthermore I'm a person who is following the Serie A even more.

Same here, I actually follow Serie A more than the La Liga too despite being a Barcelona fan.
Luckily for me, I won the Yellow cap  for the first game week with 14 points, but not so great in the second round because I was only able to finish 5th place for the week. However, I still maintain my reign at the top spot of the leaderboard, although with a very tiny margin.

I think this is the best start I've ever had in the Spanish La Liga pool after a couple rounds, I'm always playing trying to catch up with several users who definitely more knowledgeable about the league, but I guess I'd be happy to get a few more Yellow Cap as that would a big compensation in the end if I eventually miss out on the prize places.

I was able to get 4.5 points already from the only 2 games played so far, an exact score for Girona vs Celta and a close one for Betis vs Osasuna.

@darxiaomi yeah early days, means nothing 3 or 4 rounds 10-20 points. I should know that very well after playing so many seasons.

@Harkorede nice catch on those exact scores. I was actually having doubts about Celta as I took them out of my acca (they were quoted almost 3/1 at some point) and now regret that. You're joining Champions League pool right?

3 points for me isn't too bad, I'll take close scores ANY day.

Yeah, thanks! I was really skeptical and was about changing them to draws hoping to get at least one right, good thing that I didn't.

I'll definitely be joining the UCL pool as well, where is the fun in missing any of these pool ? I hope I can keep my record of the past 2-3 season where I've come in 1st or 2nd place, at least it will be well worth it this time around

I've a feeling Barca will surprise a lot of people in UCL, I doubt anyone expects them to even make it out of Last 16 but there's something weird this season with so many teams in flux. Literally in flux, almost every big name minus PSG (are they really even that big?) have some major change in philosophy or personnel and this will be a cool season of unknowns.

Today isn't super interesting for me in La Liga, EPL has been quite breathless already but Mallorca if I'm not mistaken are quoted by bookies as a slight favourite. That seems weird to me =)

Sevilla are gonna fight for relegation lol Next game is against Barca and they're totally gonna get battered at home, losing that match would put them at the bottom of the league table. 3 games into the season and they're already out of the top 4 battle. And their CL debut is against Man City. Grim

After previous season ,ow it's such relief to watch Barca. Confident win against Valladolid without any questions. Lewa indeed was close from hat-trick, but actually ended with just one goal that he actually scored. Second - last touch was by defender and on third moment he hit crossbar and then Roberto scored.
Barca made most of attacks through Dembele's wing and Valladolid weren't able to do anything against it.

Goot point about Sevilla, this season they won't give us false expectations that they can get involved in title race. So far they're not just bad, they're terrible and Lopetegui is likely to be first manager to get sacked.
