If we look at the performances of people who are at the top positions in the pool, winning this pool is absolutely much more difficult than winning the other pools on the forum. The Premier League pool is included in this as well. I'm aiming to finish this season at least at a position that I can get a prize.

I absolutly killed the predictions this GW, never had this good results in my career. 7 games played 3 exact scores and 3 close scores and still it isn't even enough for yellow cap. CasperBGD and MoSala with exactly the same predictions in all those games as far as I could see.

Anybody knows what is happening with tomahawk9? He is missing all the predictions across the pools and he was last active on forum almost a month ago. I would appreciate if somebody has his telegram or personal details to check if everything is ok.

Yeah you are rocking this round, no man i didnt notice that, and i dont have any form to contact him. Its really strange because he is a really active user in the forum and more in this section.

I hope he is safe and its on holidays or something like that.

He's been a very active person, and would have made a post if he was busy or on some sort of holidays, I really do hope he's safe and just taking another needed break, but I've never noticed him to be inactive for this long except for the about a month long break he took before the world began, and seemed to very interested in the world cup, but he left abruptly too.

I missed all my predictions for today too except the last one, with the Real Madrid 2-0, and at least I made decent profit on Real Madrid ML and both teams to score in the Celta Vigo vs Sevilla.

It's strange to have so much football on last day of year. 3 La Liga games and even 6 games in EPL.
Finally I will see Barcelona after break, derby with Espanyol isn't easy usually, but this time I expect comfortable our win.
Other games between Real Sociedad - Osasuna and Villarreal - Valencia should be interesting.

It seems that he disappeared in the middle of World Cup and it's really strange. I hope that he is fine. It's one of downsides of anonymous forums that if something happens, there is no way how to reach person outside forum, unless he gave his contacts.

I saw that! Some of them pretty late turnouts too, great opening GW for you and superb returns on draw predictions in La Liga (which I almost never make).

Didn't realise toma's inactive, yeah would be nice to check on people. I think this year a couple of people already have left the forum for personal reasons, be nice just to know if we could help do something for anyone.

This pool is hard to climb, I got 6 points from first 4 games, two close scores from two draws and exact score for Atletico. That isn't even enough to make any progress in this pool while it is more than enough to take a nice bit of money from bookies. I know i can't possibly do better than that so I don't even get disappointed with my placing anymore. Rest of the guys is simply too good.

Did you guys see Morata goal/performance yesterday? He dribbled into the box and took some week shot or even pass and then fallen down like they killed him. While he is almost dying on the field he hears from crowd that his team scored a goal, miraculously gets up to celebrate with his team mates only to realize that he is the one that scored a goal.

Man I wish I could see stuff like that lol. Tried to find the replay on youtube, but seems I have to wait a couple of days first to see the best footage La Liga TV and for that fact most of Europe even Twitter content doesn't make it available to us. Isn't that ridiculous?

I think this, and Serie A, partially because there are so few of us, but the few of us are all active and pretty decent. EPL I think is slightly different, many players and some maybe have variance in performance rather than consistency, so it's still possible to climb there.

Seems like all I need to do to see red cards is tune in to last 20 minutes of La Liga and see them do their best to get their marching orders. I get red cards, but earning them for complaining and whining and gesturing is something I really don't get.

Seems like all I need to do to see red cards is tune in to last 20 minutes of La Liga and see them do their best to get their marching orders. Matheu Lahoz, what a clown, I still can't understand how he is considered as top Spanish referee. In last 20 minutes he become main star of game, same like in Argentina - Netherlands game and seems that he likes such attention. But Baca had to solve all questions ealerrier by scoring more than one goal and don't let such thing to happen.
In general, it wasn't bad round for me, managed to go up by 4 places to 8th. And congrats to @MoSla and @casperBGD for sharing Yellow Cap this round.

thanks man, it was an almost perfect day to close out this year
first Everton took point against Citizens, kudos to Gray, it was an only shot on target today (although City has only 3 in the end, during the match seemed they have more), Arsenal is winning, with my picks in FPL all scoring (although Nketiah from the bench), but Foyth had to ruin it with late goal for Villareal win (not counting, but this is fourth or fifth time this season that Valencia put up a lead through Cavani and end-up with draw or lose)

You bastards are way too good  I really killed it this week with what I felt is almost perfect performance and it wasn't even enough for one yellow cap and I just know this was the best I will manage in the whole season. I see I am gonna have to introduce handicaps for our pools

I was watching premier league with a friend and he checks up the scores and tells me Barca finished 1:1 with 18 yellow cards. You know what was my reaction? "Wanna bet it was that idiot Lahoz officiating the game?" He did not take the bet but checked it and of course it was the one and only Lahoz.

Nice yellow caps, agreed. Not a bad return for 1 matchweek, problem for me was to not foresee the draws. Now we get a Copa event, wondering how Real will approach that. Looks the easiest opponent on paper.

About Lahoz, yup, can blame the ref all you want (I don't disagree he's crap in management) but Barca's fault for not winning earlier. Real almost had a similar situation but they had Benzema to knock in the pen in the end and cap off a great move from Camavinga, so moot point. That league really does need a proper review of refereeing though!

this season, they need more quality overall, we are back to Real/Barca race without any other competitor in sight

and that will be seen during weekend, when both have quality opponents, and away matches, cannot be much harder than away match against Villareal and Atletico, but I clearly doubt much users will opt even for draw in both cases, straight wins for Barca and Real

I say this with a lot of irony of course, Liverpool's been kind to me in my betting years, so the past season or so has been hard to take, but as long as the City and Real and Bayern losses keep happening, I can still strangely end up my season in profit.

Value pick of the day is Real, over 22/10 is excellent doubler opportunity. Only watched them over a week ago and while they needed a penalty to get ahead in last 10 mins, they were still a way better team with no panic setting in. Villareal, though? Can't trust them.

Villarreal is a good team and I don't think Real will have it easy today. I was contemplating between draw and Real win and decided to back Real for now, but maybe I will change it again later.

Much easier to place a bet on this one, both to score should be good play and odds are ok.

Still could not manage to reach home on time (RIP my weekend) to properly look at bets, but used Telegram on another phone and managed to sneak in a live bet on Real... and then of course they let in a goal right after HT. Benzema penalty this time couldn't spark their comeback and they lost -- probably deservedly.

Both teams to score came under the oddest of circumstances, and in quick succession to but after Benzema drawing level for Real Madrid from the spot, I thought it was going to be on Real Madrid's huge come back stories, but I guess it wasn't meant to be after all, but it was well deserved because they indeed created enough chances to have merited their victory.

It is such an advantage for Barcelona, because now they can afford to play draw against Atletico Madrid, since the matchup was supposed to be an advantage for Real Madrid before the game week.

I just hate Valencia, they are on my blacklist but there simply weren't enough games yesterday so I gave them another chance since the stake wasn't that big anyway. Never again, watched second half and that is a team I am not trusting in the near future. They always find a way to screw my tickets. There is couple of clubs like that out there and I must admit I am much happier when I skip their games, both when betting or choosing what to watch.
