And it was most typical Madrid derby. Not most beautiful game. Many yellow cards, already in 1st half, sent off. This time Simeone's strategy worked. Now it's time for Barca to make +10

Yeah, Xavi better send him some good wine regardless. Wonder if it's also Simeone's last derby. Feels weird to say but the club almost feel like they're ready to let him go. I'm not a fan of his and his football is just awful but I can't deny he made the club in his image and they have titles and trophies to show for it.

Well as argentinian, i said a lot of years ago, Simeone itself have to say bye to atletico a long time ago, i feel like he cant bring more to the club.
In the other side Atletico was a garbage and a medium team before he came. But yes i think its an ended cycle for both.

I could careless with Sevilla losing for all they want, I don't have any money or emotions attached to the match, but I'm rather more upset with Barcelona losing the match against Almeria, and failing to extend the lead against Real Madrid to 10 points, now it's just a 7 point lead and Barcelona second consecutive loss in just a few days in all competition.

How now can the team head into the Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Madrid during the midweek with high spirit ? it's already bad enough that the team is plagued with one injury or the other, playing with a low morale or depleted team spirit is the last thing Barcelona can afford right now, or they could go as far as even losing this the league despite being in a commanding position.

I think it's not about United, but that Barcelona's luck cannot be endless. I think many will agree that consistently losing most of the big games while having a crazy win rate against underdogs (often with a slippery minimum score) is very much like luck. In the game with Almeria, luck failed and now it makes sense to watch Clasico - because if Real Madrid wins, then the intrigue will revive, and if they lose, then Barcelona will take the title.

The odd as expected were in favour of Barcelona, but not on the extreme, I think Almeria was offered about 6 odds or there about, so I'm not sure that would have been tempting enough to back the underdogs in this case, given they were on 3 game losing streak themselves as well.

I think Xavi is partially responsible for the loss, he totally undermined Almeria and it came back hunting him, he had players like Raphinha, Jules Kounde and co on the bench, and went with a formation that would dominate the entire ball possession rather than been terrific in attack and on the break, it worked out pretty well for him, Barcelona had at least 72% of the ball, but had just a single shot on goal, mission accomplished in the end right ?

I call this "value bet"
prior to any betting, I set some odds in my head for games that I would like to bet on, and seeing that real odds are much different from odds that I envision, present a value bet, in case no other information that I wasn't aware of are present

dough, usually the difference is not that big, but Barca, IMO, should be somewhere around @3.5, not less, but not more as well
Real below @2.2 is a "no value bet" for me, looking at tonight match

with all said, I am not sure what will happen, it is just increasing winnings in case of a win

- Elimination of UEL against Manutd.
- Losing in the weekend for LaLiga against Almeria.

Real Madrid this season suffers mainly from bus teams and, surprisingly, Barcelona played today focusing entirely on defense. It is clear that they had problems with the squad and probably Xavi dreamed of leaving Madrid with a not too big defeat, but in the end they even won. I would say that the intrigue before the return match has escalated because nothing has been decided yet, but there are a lot of interesting games ahead without it.

Can't believe that Real made 0 shots on target, they pushed really hard and for Barcelona it was that kind of game that you have to survive somehow till the end. 0:1 win at Bernabeu is best what Barca could take from this game with all squad problems. Even as hardcore Barca fan I didn't went with Barcelona ML today because when you put emotions aside, it's just not logical.
Nothing isn't decided yet, but it's good to have even minimaladvantage, especially when you take it at Bernabeu.

Damn guys, in the end it seemed I got really lucky and chose the safest option with the least worry and yet the biggest payout.

I was contemplating all kinds of Betbuilder, including over 1 goals, over corners, over cards, BTTS, etc. Scorers. Then the game weirdly turns on a single own goal to give Barca the win at the best odds.

You were right Trofo the odds were fair, I just keep feeling biased as usual. For some reason, Real is Liverpool's bogey team but Barca is lately Real's bogey team!

My only regret is I did not go bigger with my bet, but I have miraculously recovered now 40% of my starting bankroll in SB in January, so I get closer to my season target. Is it degen that my season target is to get back deposit? Lol
