KTChampions, stil feeling same confidence? Not sure how serious these rumours is, but some media tells that game with City can be last for Alonso.

I can't say right now. There are too many distractions to keep my mind focused. When you spend half the day trying to come up with different schemes to bypass internet blocks, it's exhausting. After all, football is entertainment, there's also everyday life and work.

I more expected something similar from Athletic Bilbao at San Mames than Celta at Santiago Bernabeu. Didn't even watched games as I expected easy Real win. But damn, now they have lot of problems with their defense line with all injries and cards.

Now they are in full crisis mode it seems. Champions League will still progress that I'm 100% sure but they really have to manage now with Vini and Rodrygo looking a bit off. Just watched the game tho and they could have won if not for some bad luck. Feel bad for Alonso tho it was never really his fault in my view.

Time to make a recap of yellow caps so far, curiously enough I have picked a time to do it just when Mahdirakib decided to place one hand on the reward with monster round. Nothing to do but to give our best to make it interesting until the end.

I was just lucky with my score selections in the round 14. The two additional games had helped me to get some extra points in that round. Until now, my predictions were better than my expectation this season. But I'm highly disappointed for the recent performances of Real Madrid.

But it was round with 12 games and actually he got 22 points (5 exact + 4 close + 1 result = 22 points). 3 points was recieved as Slam point. What is this by the way? 

I was also wondering about that. I have received 3 Slam points for having 10 correct outcomes in that round. Superbru gives maximum 3 Slam points for having 10-15 correct outcomes in a round.

Late to the congrats party but fucking well done man. 12 games or 10 games, it's still a monster round, because 21 without Slam points is a feat on its own (from a posible 36).

It is one extra reason for us not to go for upsets in the pool. You already don't get more points for choosing outliers, but Superbru also rewards people who get more correct outcomes with... the rather shitty Slam point system (normally for most leagues you need 9 to get all 3 in a normal 10-game week).

Funny thing tho is they are not as low in table as I thought, even like Celta, so I guess all teams are struggling this season, and winning when you least expect.

About Villarreal is pretty strange to see them doing like shit in the Champions League but being one of the best teams in the local tournament by far. THe other day they lose against Copenhage for example.

About Bilbao, i think they can recover after they stop playing UCL.

What about the opposite example, Atalanta? They're in the top 8 in the Champions League, but in Serie A they're playing like dismal shit (a stark contrast after their previous, stellar seasons).
And yes, I want the number of games to be quickly equalized. I remember COVID and how annoying it was to look at the table when all the teams had a different number of games.

Yes hahaha is incredible how this can happen , plus Villarreal is really playing good but seems like in europe they dont have the same luck, Villarreal knows how to play in europe despite being a tiny club, i still remember they golden age and how Riquelme miss that penlty against Arsenal. That was the end of an era for the "yellow submarine".

Yes i hate them because i have them on my blacklist sine they destroy me in so much bets, but as a team i want to see Sevilla again being a powerfull one, i remember the epic wins on Europa League and they are the real king of that competition, you know when you faced Sevilla on europa league you were cooked.

You know, maybe I knew this before (I carefully studied the nuances of the competition because I wanted to be at the top  ), but now things are such in offline that sometimes I don’t know what day of the week it is, so little things fly out of my head. And I checked my last round in Serie A, where I guessed 5 correct results, they actually awarded me one bonus point. Not bad not bad

The surprise is there, when little teams attack, yes. But the bigger surprise maybe is they can actually defeat the defence of the bigger teams. And multiple times.

Yeah there is when you remember they are still first division players and despite being in the little teams or in the relegation ones they still have top quality, so if they are in a good day or you give them a little bit of space they can score and made damage.

I played football with a few players some from first division and others from second or third division, and damn man, the diference they make is brutal.

And first division in Spain is not the same as first division in England, Italy, France or in other countries.
More money can bring better players with manager coaches and that can increase the quality of teams.
I dont remember last time some club won Champions League that was not in Top 5 leagues in Europe, and Real Madrid has amazing recent record.
