It's just a matter of time before PSG can overtake them at the top of the table. Lens may be better in Ligue 1 in terms of consistency right now, but PSG are way ahead of them in terms of quality. Although PSG's performance is currently a bit unstable, it doesn't seem like it will take long for them to return to their best form.

PSG will only go back to the top of the table if Lens allow them that's if they lose and PSG win to overtake them but if that doesn't happen you won't be surprised if Lens get motivated to improve their game play and become undefeated in their up coming games, PSG has a better quality players and squad but injury is one thing that has affected their performance and their game play is not how it used to be before so right now PSG winning the league will be determined on the outcome of their performance and how Lens and other teams that are close to them in point performs.

You're treating PSG like a bottom-of-the-table Ligue 1 team. I'd bet Lens will drop from the top of the table soon. There's still half of the season left, and it's simply impossible for them to go unbeaten for that long.

It's just that they haven't focused much on the domestic league because they're still busy with the Champions League, and that's made them look inconsistent in the domestic league. You should not be so confident. Luis enrique is focused on the champions league. And that's why PSG's performance in ligue 1 is erratic now. They have also lost the top spot in the table. At the same time, Lens' performance is  very consistent. So if they don't give their full effort in ligue 1 matches , it will be a big challenge for PSG to secure the title this season. Also, several important players in the squad have faced injuries. It was difficult for enrique to form  the best XI due to injury problems since the beginning of the  season. And psg has not been able to get  out of this problem so far. So  dominating ligue 1 is not easy for PSG.

That often happens in Ligue 1, with PSG trailing Lens by one point, but ultimately regaining the lead, especially since the gap is quite close. Basically, we want to see a much more competitive Ligue 1 situation so that other teams have an equal chance of winning the title. But considering the number of players the other teams have, it seems difficult to break PSG's dominance because they are indeed much better and more solid. Monaco whom we expected to be a strong competitor for PSG, are struggling to reach the top three, despite having a number of players who are much better than the other teams.

That is a lot of money for Juventus though, are we sure that they are really going for that? I am not saying that is impossible, surely they can still make it work, but I just feel like that is way too much money for them to pay. If they really want a defender then they can't get any better than Balerdi, that will definitely be amazing for them and he has Italian background as well so it is definitely something that we can see to make it work in Italy as well.

I just think it's high price for a transfer, and while it is definitely not a bad one, I would say it is not a great one neither to pay this much. Hopefully we can see Juventus make this deal work somehow though, if they do, they will have a good defender for at least 6-7 years.

Anyawy, if psg  wants to regain the top spot in the  table, they will have to win consistently. If they lose points in any match,  PSG will fall further behind in the title race. Lens' performance is very consistent. They have continued their winning streak for a long time. They have not lost points  in any match. Luis enrique will have to be more aware in ligue 1 matches. When the team is handled by a masterclass coach, everything will feel so easy. Previously, PSG always had difficulty winning the UCL trophy, but after Luis Enrique arrived, they were able to win the most prestigious trophy. PSG recently achieved great success after winning six trophies throughout 2025, and they will try to repeat that success despite facing stiff competition from their Ligue 1 rivals this season.
Although PSG is currently in second place after being one point behind Lens, sooner or later they will return to the top of the standings because the quality of their squad is above their rivals. I don't even know how it went to penalties. PSG had like almost all their main players on the pitch from the beginning. Dembélé entered the game quite late which could have been the game changer.

Anyways, congratulations to them! Luis Enrique is really one of special managers in European football. He has a strong chemistry with PSG as well. Since Mbappe left the team they have been winning more different titles including the Champions League one.

Yeah Congratulations to them PSG on achieving that and a big kudos goes to their manager Luis Enrique, Man transformed PSG into a beast. Before him PSG used to be feared only in the league but now they’ve counted scores against the big boys of Europe, only Chelsea was the stumbling block on their part. It would have been 14/14 finals for Luis Enrique but it’s 13/14, 1 to Chelsea.

Yes, that's right. PSG only needs time to overtake Lens in the standings. And PSG clearly has more experience than Lens. There are still many rounds left for PSG to do so. Right, Ligue 1 match break until 5 January and next games PSG will face Paris FC is really interested Paris derby match although the opponent teams not playing well after success promoting to Ligue 1. PSG have French Cup match round of 64 and I don't familiar with the opponent team face, for awhile quick talking about the winning of Ligue 1 trophy and return back when Ligue 1 matchday 17 start next early month.

Are you serious?  Tell me honestly, did you know about this club before you read about the result of this game? I didn't, and I can't even pronounce their name  I just glanced at the Conference League group stage participants, and I think 30% of the teams are simply unknown to me. There are some decent teams there (in the distant past) but I have no idea about their current strength. As I understand it, Strasbourg is the only team from France playing in the Conference League (for example, there are four teams from Poland there lol), but if other teams participated, they would also be good compared to all the others.
