Monaco again had to experience defeat in league 1, which was quite unfortunate because at the beginning of the season they showed good performance but see now they are quite slumped and slowly descending the ladder. It seems that there are problems that cannot be resolved quickly from the squad, maybe with the addition of new strength in the January market they can bounce back because there are still opportunities for them to compete in the top 4.

I'm afraid Monaco are a mess this season. They have lost more than the times they won in the Ligue 1 so far.

This was another poor performance by them. Some can say the red card was effective on it but I don't think so exactly.

Because Lyon were already 2-1 ahead before that. Monaco didn't look like they would even get a point. Pocognoli's work might not last very long in this way.

In the Champions League, PSG might still have a chance, but given the tight competition this season, their chances of winning again could be very difficult. However, in Ligue 1, I personally have no doubts about PSG, as their performances haven't been particularly bad so far. Lens could easily overtake them in the Ligue 1 standings this season. Even if Lens tries to perform well, when they meet PSG again, it's their chance to be the best by winning the match and returning to the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

In the UCL they have always been a great rival, in fact last UCL they were about to be eliminated, and they rose from the ashes like a phoenix. For me, Luis Enrique always does that. I trust that he can resolve this competition, if they advance and in a good way from the UCL. In Ligue 1 they are simply the king. I was curious to see Endrick with Olympiacos, but they left him on the bench again.

With yesterday's defeat, they have suffered three consecutive losses and only managed one victory in their last five games. I don't know how the management is still keeping the coach in his position, but it seems to me that if they continue to keep him in charge, the team will be fighting to get out of the relegation zone in the coming rounds, and in that case, it will be too late to change coaches and get good results quickly. I hope the Monaco management realizes this very soon.

It was an impossible mission for them to win this game after receiving two red cards. Playing with only nine players, all they could do was defend. Before the game started, I planned to add them to my parlay, but I left and when I came back I made the parlay and forgot about them. I see I was very lucky not to have included them.

Nantes are 16th in the league. I didn't expect them to get a win like that. I think Marseille need to focus more in these kinds of matches. The red cards disrupted the team's balance and they dropped points in a game they needed to win. This defeat wasn't good for the league race.

Nantes need more wins to get out of the relegation zone. Maybe this match could be a fresh start for them. In football, a lot of things can happen unexpectedly. No matter how strong the teams are, one red card can completely turn the game around.

Football happened to Marseille today they could not believe their eyes but when they were reduced to 10 men their fighting spirit left them that's why they couldn't do much again in the game and Nantes having the upper hand could not stop attacking them until Marseille made another mistake and another player received another red card and it gave Nantes another opportunity to increase the gwoek to number 2. The early red card was the cause of the first goal but Marseille couldn't manage the situation if they had managed it well they should have equalized the goal and made it a draw.

A match that surprised most today is the match between Marseille and Nantes. I never expected Marseille to lose that match to Nantes, who are not in form. The painful part is that it was at Marseille’s home. I was really disappointed with the match, despite knowing that it was because of the red card that caused their defeat. Marseille is one of the teams I trusted and bet on, but I lost the bet, and it really pained me, even though the money was not that much. But that is football, and that is why they always say football is unpredictable.

Monaco is always unpredictable, and that is one of the reasons I don’t like betting on them. In fact, even before the match, I did not expect any great results from Monaco against Lyon. I even see Lyon as the favorite team to win, despite knowing that Monaco will be the host of the game.Almost every beginning of the season, they always seem like a team that is there to fight for Ligue 1, but with little time, they start losing matches back to back. The way I observe the Monaco team, they seriously lack quality players. If they want to become like those days, they seriously need to restructure their squad, but with the signings they make every season, they will go nowhere.

Marseille received several red cards very early on. They played with nine men for almost 40 minutes. Despite this, it's a miracle they only conceded two goals. If they had been in a similar situation against another opponent, the match would probably have ended with five or six goals. They were lucky to have defended well with nine men. Furthermore, Rulli made seven saves. If he hadn't been having a good day, Marseille would have conceded even more goals. They've had their worst start to 2026 in the French league.

 Paris Saint-Germain haven't scored yet in the ongoing Paris derby. If the match ends in a draw, the point difference will increase to three.

Definitely an unexpected run of wins from Lens, they are keeping the leader level for one more week thanks to this win and I am sure that the yare going to do a fine job. I get that they are going to do a fine job on the long run if they keep this up, not sure if they are going to end up with the title but they are going to do a fine sure and that is why I think that will be a lot better. Lens getting this many wins in a row is not something that I expected this season at all, they are shocking everyone.

Gradually Lens is becoming a big threat to PSG in the league I bet no one saw it coming this season but here they are still dominating the league despite people not believing in their ability to get to the end of the league with their good performance but watching how they are gradually becoming a team of concentration shows that they have more surprises which may not be believed until they get to the end of the season. PSG needs to act very fast and make sure they are not dropping any more points because a little poor performance by PSG will help  the lens team to get more comfortable while they continue winning their games.

I hope this happens, as the title race will become even tighter and PSG will have a competitor this season in the form of a team like Lens who continues to show positive results. Lens is starting to show a strong team in Ligue 1, indirectly putting pressure on PSG who are currently struggling to make up for lost ground. If Lens can play more effectively and maintain their positive streak in every match they have a great chance, even though many people doubt Lens who currently only have a one-point lead over PSG. The situation is not yet comfortable because there is still a big opportunity for PSG, but as long as Lens performs well, they will definitely be able to face the pressure.

The match finished with Toulouse 0 - 3 Lens, hope & expectation of many people were truly fulfilled by Lens. It's nice to see how there's a team that's challenging Paris Saint-Germain in their farm league (Ligue 1). Currently, Lens & Paris Saint-Germain are separated by 4 points. We're just waiting for Paris Saint-Germain matchday #17 match against Paris FC. Don't expect Paris FC to win this match, it's futile .

I think Lens is a great team but I don't know if they will succeed in winning the championship, it would be wonderful and super romantic if a team like that could win the tournament, it is clearly a fundamental thing for the development of French football, but I don't think it is possible for now at least

Toulouse wasn't really the team to beat Lens anyways, Lens could lose points to anyone like any team but if you really expect them to lose then you would expect them to lose to a bigger level team. Losing to Marseille or Lyon or Monaco etc would make more sense and Lens will end up playing them eventually and of course they are going to play against PSG itself as well which will be a fine job.

When you think of those then you realize that Lens have a lot of tough games ahead of them and they may lose points in those games. Until then, they are going to play simpler teams and I have trust that they are going to beat all of those low table teams because they are that much better than all of them for the time being.

I don’t really know what to say about Kvaratskhelia, maybe after the holidays he is not in the best shape for now, it is hard to tell. On the one hand, PSG were dominating, and it seemed like they were controlling the game and everything was fine. But on the other hand, the win was not that easy for them, and I was a bit worried because this was the final match, and PSG were included in several of my parlays. If they had not won, it would have been quite painful for me. But they did win, and I am very happy about that.

If I'm not mistaken, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia suffered a minor injury, so he didn't seem to be involved in training. Therefore, he didn't play in that lineup, even though he was on the bench. The injury isn't serious, but it's crucial to avoid a more serious injury.

Dembele's final goal in the 53rd minute proved to be the winning goal for PSG. Now, Dembele and Desire Doue finally scored again.

What's important to understand is that PSG's form and performance haven't always been consistent, so the possibility you're talking about might not happen for PSG. The PSG coach is adept at spotting opportunities and strategizing to avoid overexerting his first-team players. So, when the opponent isn't strong enough, PSG might field a second-string squad to maintain the fitness of their own. However, when hosting Paris FC, PSG struggled to break down the Paris FC defense, as the visitors were quite strong in that match.

Marseille players were too excessive in competing against their opponents which resulted in Arthur and Bilal being red carded, obviously this is the fault of the players, honestly Marseille can play well but because they blundered so that Nantes had more space to attack, Marseille deserved it, twice this red card was the wrong decision. Maybe you can only hope for Lens this season to win league 1, but before that they have to finish PSG first if they can.

The match between these two was one-sided so Toulouse is not a good team and I am not saying that they are not capable of it even though Lens is strong that is why Toulouse had to face a bad defeat in this match. I understand what you are saying and there is truth in it otherwise they would not have been close to PSG. PSG and Lens are in a very tough competition with each other. If they succeed in this then it is good even though they are strong but only after playing this we will realize that Lens is actually failing them. Lens is in trouble because of Pele that is why PSG will win their matches and lower Lens and Lens will strengthen PSG by going ahead and weakening. If Lens gets points in these matches then it will be close for PSG. Lens should collect points against these weak teams and save them for difficult matches.

I watched the game and honestly, I thought PSG's attack wasn't very strong. They dominated the game, easily reaching the opponent's goalkeeper, but they weren't very effective, and to make matters worse, they were exposed defensively on the counter-attack. I don't know why they were having difficulty scoring more than two goals against a weak opponent, and in the end, they conceded a goal. Finishing 2-1 against such a weak opponent was simply disappointing. Their next game will be a cup match against a problematic opponent. I bet on PSG or draw, I hope I won't be disappointed.

People do not understand how PSG is just letting it be in ligue 1. Sure they looked like they did not dominated if you look at the score, but they didn't even tried hard and still got a win and that's all they care.

Active resting is a method in football (in many sports) where you do not play with your 100%, and that way you do not tire yourself out the most. You pass around and just rest during the game instead of running like crazy and pressing all game long, that's what PSG did this game.
