Paris Saint-Germain is the sole dominant force in France, and Lens should consider themselves lucky to be currently leading. Paris Saint-Germain's recent point losses have been unpredictable this year. If Lens maintains this consistency, they could potentially stay in the title race until the final weeks. However, I don't think they'll last that long. If we compare the quality of PSG and Paris at the moment, I think even though this is a derby, it's not the same as the derby we have in mind. I agree that every derby brings great intensity and pressure because both teams come from the same region. The crazy fans and intense atmosphere are why I love derbies. But in this PSG vs. Paris match, there was absolutely no intensity. PSG completely dominated the match. They won in almost every aspect. But on the other hand, I still respect Paris. They defended really well, so PSG couldn't embarrass Paris by scoring many goals. I think this 2-1 win isn't bad for Paris. At least their fans weren't disappointed because facing PSG, one of the best teams in the world right now, they only lost by one goal.

There is nothing that Paris FC can do against PSG, because the gap between the two teams is too wide, both in terms of squad, depth of players and achievements, Paris FC is lagging behind in all these aspects, so it is very easy to guess who will win when these two teams meet.

This type of strategy game usually works, it slows down the game but the games are honestly very boring.
Little action, lots of strategy, lots of ball passing and long possession, when they play like this it's also difficult to predict matches.

I think people in this topic don't understand football if they say the Paris derby is an interesting match, LOL. What you said is true that we already know which team will get the 3 points in the match. The only thing that's interesting for Paris Saint-Germain right now is their league journey. Because suddenly, Lens became the leader of the Ligue 1 standings, just 1 point behind Paris Saint-Germain. Unfortunately, we won't be able to see the dynamics that occur in Ligue 1 anytime soon, because the next match for Paris Saint-Germain will take place on the 18th.

Unexpectedly, Lens leads the Ligue 1 standings despite only having a 1-point gap over PSG. I know PSG won't have a hard time overtaking Lens if the gap is only 1 point, but Lens should get the credit they deserve for their hard work so far this season. Lens have been in top form defensively and are proving to be the best defensive team in Ligue 1 this season. Having conceded just 13 goals in 17 matches, Lens are rightly crowned the strongest team at the moment and they are also leading the Ligue 1 standings.

Lens will certainly have to be very careful if they want to lead the standings until the end of the season, but this will certainly not be easy considering that PSG continues to apply pressure with a very narrow points gap. One mistake could cost Lens their place at the top, unless PSG also performs badly.

As i thought, Paris San German will have no difficulty overtaking Lens in the standings, it's only a matter of time and we will certainly see this team at a high level and first in the standings, they are starting to tighten this second position and most likely in a couple of rounds there will be overtaking
