I believe a lot in PSG and i think they are a great team and can do very well, but i expect more from them if they want to follow the path they followed last year. They started off really badly and if they continue, i am afraid they won't go very far.

If you're already doubting PSG this season in Ligue 1, then which other team would you favor in this season's competition? When I saw that 1-0 Paris FC win over PSG, I thought finally, Lens cab have some space and some other team can have hope to win the Ligue 1 but to my surprise when I double checked, it was just a cup match, like you said, I feel PSG next match is a match that can see Lens get some space because PSG will be facing Lille, although PSG seems like a the favourite but there is always hope, plus Lens will be playing Auxere which is a slightly easier  team. We just have to wait till tomorrow to see what's it's going to be.

Lens is not competing in the UCL making them to focus on the Ligue One. They are still title contenders but it Lens keep stepping up thier games, PSG might not be the Champions this season.

Lens has a great chance, and it is not too much up to them. They are going to play axuerre or whatever that name was, which isn't a great team, so they should be able to win, and if they do, that is going to be great and they will stay leaders no matter what.

However, PSG is also playing against Lille, a team that is not that bad and fourth place right now and if PSG somehow drops points, a tie or a loss, then Lens will have a higher chance and a bigger gpa. That could help them out a lot, one point is nothing but four points would be awesome for them.

In Ligue 1 they're struggling to catch up with Lens and while they still have a chance, it's not impossible for PSG to lose again in their next match.

Sometimes the depth of their squads is slightly different in terms of quality making saving a team from defeat very difficult especially if the player in question rarely gets playing time. When an injured player suffers an injury there is no one comparable in quality or mentality to replace the player who has always been trusted by the coach.

The defeat that PSG received in the Coupe de France match is a form of their weakness in recent weeks because as you mentioned earlier in the Ligue 1 competition there are only two teams that can beat them and this time they are the third team that managed to beat PSG because almost every season they dominate Ligue 1 like no other team can win Ligue 1 even though there are teams that can beat them such as Marseille, Monaco but to win they are still from the PSG team and this season PSG must be wary of the team that is currently above them in the Ligue 1 title, namely Lens even though they are one point apart but the competition will be even fiercer in the hunt for the champion this season.

I don't really know why any little injury in that Paris Saint Germain's team always affects them so deeply and they always don't seem to have strong bench that can cover up till the injury players are back, when once they have an injury they keep struggling till the player is back and this was the reason why they lost the league title in some seasons past, how can they keep up with this kind of situation in the UEFA Champions League, anyways I think that is their warrant as I have not really been their fans this season so I'd even love them to lose more form so Lens can win the league title this season.

I still think people are overreacting, Lens is not that much ahead and PSG could cover the difference very quickly. I still think PSG will win the league, I know that wanting someone else to win because change is good, but just because we want it doesn't mean it is going to happen, it may not happen and we may see this changing and be different as well.

This is why I think it's clear that we are going to see these changing and be different on the long run. If that is not the case then we are going to make up for something that is very difficult. PSG not winning the title would be horrible for them, going from "maybe give enrique lifetime contract" to "maybe fire him" over course of just single season would be big deal.

Yes, I also think that the situation is degenerating and most likely there are no longer teams that last that long and are winners for a long time, I read that even Dembele asked for 60 million for the renewal, this does nothing but worsen the situation in the environment

nobody can actually doubt this team, we all know that they are still the favourites to win and I think this is easily demonstrable and I think it will happen soon when Paris Saint-Germain takes the lead and wins, They will certainly have to work hard but they can do it easily

After one week break, now French Ligue 1 is going to start again with Monaco is going to entertain Lorient which is having interesting season, in last 10 games they had only 1 defeat with 4 wins and 5 draws, this giving some good chance for challenging Monaco.

While Monaco which is having worst season and looking for some improvement currently at 9th spot with 8 defeats in Ligue 1 and 19th spot in UEFA Champions league with 1 defeat and their remaining games against Real Madrid at Bernabéu and Juventus at home gave them some hope of staying in for next round, in last 10 games they have 5 defeats with 4 wins and 1 draw, now can they fight back for top spot or having to end their season with poor note, it's going to be interesting second half for them.

A one-point lead isn't a huge advantage for Lens. PSG only need one draw to take over first place. But Lens has another advantage: they aren't competing in any other tournament this season. This allows them to focus all their resources on winning the Ligue 1 trophy and ending PSG's dominance. Personally, I honestly still favor PSG to win the Ligue 1 trophy. Statistically, they are still capable of catching Lens and overtaking them. The loss to Paris didn't expose PSG's weaknesses. So far, PSG have only lost two times, while Lens have lost three. So, yes, I still support PSG in Ligue 1 this season. However, I think it would be very interesting if Lens were to win the title.

Maybe this is one of those seasons for other teams to get s chance at winning  the title too as much as PSG has consistently done in the past. So in other for others to get this chance at the title, there has to be an opportunity to utilise, of of which ais this and so except PSzg recovers soonest they may not have anything to go home with this season.

In this season, PSG performance is not as they have in last season just because of this, facing pressure in last game against Paris FC, they lost at home, now they are going to face Lille which is also trying their best for keeping themselves into top four, usually most teams in Ligue 1 are inconsistent just because of this, PSG is able to stay ahead of them.

Now Lens is having top spot with the lead of one point, they are going to host Auxerre which is in relegation zone, this will give them good chance of win and staying ahead of their opponents, but things will be interesting in upcoming matches because Marseille and PSG will chase Lens and try to stay in touch for the title race.

PSG still has time to lead the table once again as they are 1 points behind lens. They are other remaining matches left and PSG could capitalize on that to secure points in the table. Facing the top such as PSG I think normally for Paris FC playing with full defense and exploit weakness by faster counterattack and its working well how Paris FC eliminated PSG at  French Cup match round of 32. Paris FC not dominance yet ball possession and has 2 shots on target only but their counterattack really work for scoring one goals and qualify to round of 16 at French Cup. Unbelievable as the promotion team success eliminating the defending champion of French Cup last season and its big loss opportunity for PSG getting treble winner this season.

Today, Lille must play full defense and exploit trough counterattack when facing PSG in Ligue 1 match, if tactician playing with open play I think easily for PSG scoring many goals but get difficulty if Lille play full defense and rely on counterattacks.

Monaco’s performance in their last five games is not as good as Lorient because they both won three matches while Monaco lost the remaining two matches as Lorien drew their two matches. This isn’t the only reason why I am not in support of Monaco tonight.

Statistically, Monaco is good, but if you check their last five games August Lorient, you will see that they also have one win against each others and three draws which show that they have similar chance in this match just that Monaco will be at home.

Nevertheless, let’s see how it will go today, can Monaco win today to keep dreaming for European competition again next season? Or will their give up after losing tonight?
