PSG isn't alone in the title race this season. I don't know how long Lens can keep up in this race. Yesterday they won 1-0, albeit with difficulty.
PSG also beat Lille 3-0. Lens is leading by one point, but I don't know how far their squad quality can take them in the remaining matches.

There is not much to expect from Monaco this season. They are constantly disappointing their fans with 4 consecutive defeats, I don't know when their journey of failure will end. But I am sure that they will continue to decline and may not qualify for any league in the upcoming season. They're not bad in the Champions League, but for some reason they haven't performed well in the French league. They have nine points in the Champions League and are among the top 24 teams. They had a really nice start this season actually, and I even taught for once they were definitely not going contend and be in the title race but they began to fall back so badly you would not expect  they will be at were they are now, so yeah the expectations on them should actually not be big or so much but we know they will not end the season in a bad position.

The championship is changing for good and I'm glad because the Ligue1 is becoming interesting to watch since the there is now a competition between PSG and the other teams but this season you can't rate PSG as the best team in Europe when they are not playing unbeaten like Arsenal in their league and in the champions League. Last season PSG was the best team in Europe but let's not see them as a big threat to the other teams this season because there are other good teams that will defeat them this season and you know that to be true.

I already responded to martinom but again I think he's referring to PSG being the best team in the Ligue1 because he can't say they are better than Bayern Munich and Arsenal this season so I Europe they are not among the top. PSG was rated as the best team in Europe last season when they won the championship, the champions League and the French cup but coming to this season they have dropped points in the league and their form in the champions League has also declined which makes them not be be the best performing team in the champions League competition. From all indication PSG is struggling in the league because Lens is ahead of them and if they are not careful they may not make it to the semi finals of the champions League.

That is enough to be the champion in league 1 because the consistency of winning means they will not lose, even though only 1 point difference with PSG in league 1 they will definitely get the trophy, the current position is proof that they are quite consistent in all the matches they have played, from the way they play and win every match I hope you can understand that, it is very rare for a team to get good consistency especially when they are at the top of the standings and face a scary team like PSG in the league they often lead.

It's natural for him to say that Paris Saint-Germain is the best team in Europe right now. Some will agree and some will disagree, but if his reasoning is based on their Champions League title, then that's not wrong either.

However, if he's saying it because Paris Saint-Germain is his favorite team, then I'd disagree with that claim.

In Ligue 1, they are indeed the best, and it's very difficult to unseat them. They have everything it takes to be among the best teams.

I am one of the people who agree with that claim. Not a big fan of PSG, I only judge in terms of achievement, and considering that the season is not over yet, so PSG claim is the best team in Europe is true, to a certain extent, meaning until the season is really over and see the results of the team, if PSG creates history again like last season, winning the UCL, then they retain the title as the best team in Europe.

Finally, I guess they are getting some competition in French football. Paris FC won with just a single goal. This was probably the easiest competition in French football, but PSG literally lost out in the competition. Although it's safe to say, is with their current form, they don't seem to look like the best club in the world anymore.

I understand PSG always seem to underestimated every small team, which equally makes them feel overconfident, turns out to be fatal, just like this particular match! I probably realized that PSG players were going for long range shots almost all the time they got a clear shooting chance, and that really cost them so many missed opportunities. Instead of putting in some intensity out there, they thought it would be easier to shoot from a distance away. No doubt! it is normal for Small clubs to beat big clubs, but in PSG's case this will possibly be a lesson.

Perhaps that's the point, because the Champions League is the top competition in Europe, so considering last season's champions as the best team currently (at least if we look at the new champions), then the team that won last season deserves the title of best team in Europe.

They also still have a great chance of defending their title. I'm not a Paris Saint-Germain fan either, but I'm simply making an objective assessment in this case based on their recent achievements in the competition, and the competition we're talking about here is European competition.

PSG is the current champion of the European Champions League, and we all know that the Champions League includes all the strongest clubs, and that the winner of the Champions League becomes the strongest club until another club emerges to win the Champions League. For me, this is the best way to determine the strongest team in Europe each season. I don't see any other way, so we have to accept that currently PSG is the strongest club in Europe.

I got wrong about my BTTS prediction on the game between PSG and Lille. I don't say Lille played that bad though. They also found good chances to score including a shot hitting post. I wish they managed to score... 


Have you watched Endrick in his second game with Lyon? He was once again impressive honestly. This time an assist was made by him. He is so eager to show his individual skills.

However in time he should learn not to waste many opportunities like that. I know he wants to prove himself but he needs to adapt to team play.
