Difficult position and inconsistent performance of AS Monaco should be terrible for this season if want to secure the Champion League spot standings for this season, the Ligue 1 has many matches left and Monaco must improve performance if won't finish outside the top fourth position place. Next games Monaco will face Le Havre and its moment wake up return to winning trend but three days later will face Juventus in Champion League, will Monaco get six points at two upcoming matches later?

Unfortunately, AS Monaco isn't very consistent. They're improving but their performances aren't consistent yet.

Relying on PSG anymore in the league1, we need to start saying it that they are not doing well this season. They are not the dominating side of PSG we used to know that would have given like ten points gap by now, they are like any other team struggling in the title race that is why they are struggling to win against small teams that even in the relegation zone, if not how will PSG if last season play a game against a relegation zone team and finish the first half without a single goal and now almost 70 minutes no goal scored.

Although some substitutions has been made, I will expect a more productive attack from now on, but if care is not taken, they will draw this match, and it will be an advantage for Lens to add more points gap.

Yes there is a sense of disappointment seeing the results from PSG, they should have feasted on goals today to re-motivate the players for the failure to win in the UCL competition yesterday, but what we saw today was unexpected, only producing one goal against Auxerre, the bottom team in the standings, but I can understand a little, maybe there is a fatigue factor from PSG players,  because they only get a little rest after flying to Portugal, so their results are not impressive today, whatever it is 3 points they still get, now let's see the results of Lens vs Marseille, which is likely with a less impressive result from PSG, they might be able to return to the top of the table, because after all Lens' chances of winning from Marseille are quite low.

Seriously, it's actually good it happens like this, atleast give the league some competition but honestly I kind off find mself rooting for Lens, but too bad they will be playing Marseille tomorrow which is going to be a very tense game for them, i just wish that Lens will win there match.

But honestly inasmuch as Auxere has been terrible, from there last 7 matches, they haven't lost with over 1 goal difference apart from that Brest match, so I think that's also something that can be noted in why PSG just won with a goal.

I was seriously monitoring Auxerre vs Paris Saint-Germain from the beginning of the game and Auxerre was able to hold Paris Saint-Germain into a draw match in the first half of the game and even as Paris Saint-Germain was dominating in the yet the were finding it difficult to penetrate in the 18 box of Auxerre score more goals after Barcola B. score in the 79 minutes of the game which gave Paris Saint-Germain the winning, and when i was watching the match i thought Paris Saint-Germain we score more than one goal but hard luck to score more goals, at last Paris Saint-Germain still collected the three points from Auxerre.

Everyone in France is missing competition. Considering Paris Saint-Germain's recent disappointing results, I can't say this has been an incredible year for them in the French league. If they win against Lens, they'll regain the lead. Also, Paris Saint-Germain is struggling to score goals. It seems like the single-team championship race we're used to in the French league has been interrupted this year. Hopefully, they win against Lens and continue this competition.

the Champions League, but after PSG struggled to beat Auxerre last night, it's now clear to me that PSG's struggle this season in their domestic league is far from PSG concentrating more on the Champions League. The Lens match against Marseille is a difficult match for Lens to win, but I am rooting for Lens to win Marseille so that they can reclaim their number one spot from PSG.

No you aren't the only one man. Most people must be aware of it already after watching many of their games. They aren't as dominant as previous years in the Ligue 1 this year.

The PSG we know would destroy Auxerre easily for example. But only a 1-0 win was what we saw. They seemed dominant in game but it didn't reflect on the score.

As the power gap with others is too much they would win the league anyway. But it won't be as satisfying as before for the fans.

I think I'm the only one who feels that way. PSG is not as strong as last season, or perhaps other teams have just improved, making it harder for PSG to get full points like last season. According to rumors, Dro Fernandes has verbally agreed with PSG for the second half of the season. He is still quite young, but he has played for Barcelona's first team several times. It's not entirely certain he will immediately get a starting spot, but if this rumor is true, PSG is making good progress for the long term.

if we look at the last meeting, Lens could win 2-1 against Marseille, but that was at home. now they have to play at Marseille's stadium, clearly not an easy match to win. both teams need points, even though Marseille is already behind, points will be important for them to maintain their position in the standings. Lyon is also competing with Marseille. the match will definitely be interesting with both teams showing their best performance. but let's just see what will happen.
