If PSG fails to win the domestic league this season that is the only time I will believe that Lens is a threat to them, this season I want a new team to win the league so that PSG will wake up next season with a better performance but if after their poor display they end up winning the league it will not make them to improve unless they decide to sign more players to strengthen the depth of the team so that they will not be challenged by other teams in the league. It is highly likely that everyone is still favoring PSG to win the title, but it is not impossible for Lens to make a surprise and maintain consistent performance. What must be remembered is that in football anything is possible and I really hope that happens this season so that Ligue 1 can be competitive again and several teams can also rise to rival PSG's strength.

It was certainly a beautiful dream to see Lens first, challenging the overwhelming power of Paris Saint-Germain.
We knew that PSG's squad would provide a long-term advantage, however.

I don't think Lens are capable of beating Paris San Genrman and moving to first place, this situation can clearly improve, but now that they are doing very well i think there is no possibility of catching up on them, but football is beautiful and can change at any time.

Lens still has a mathematical chance of overtaking Paris SG, but considering team quality, their chances are now very slim. Lens's success so far deserves credit. They are still fighting. Hopefully, they will win the championship at the end of the season, but their chances against Paris are very low.

Currently, only Lens is PSG closest competitor, while they still have a chance to overtake PSG, who are currently at the top of the standings because the two are only two points apart. However, I'm not sure Lens can break PSG dominance in Ligue 1 because the quality of the squads they have is very different. PSG only need to maintain their position and beat Lens in their second Ligue 1 meeting to increase their chances of retaining the trophy they have won for the past few seasons.

This in my opinion is a very temporary thing, i don't think PSG has problems dominating this type of championship, they have to be careful of other types of champions such as those of the European Cup, clearly this thing must be perfectly trained the team and the whole team to prepare for hard times

Paris saint-Germain i am afraid it's being a bit underestimated lately and i think this is not a positive thing for the teams that will challenge it, clear that these are the results of a poor training work of the team but currently a drop can be there after you win a treble and your players are candidates and win Ballon d'Or is understandable,  so it is gradually returning to where it was

The most disappointing season for Lyon was in 2023/2024 when Grosso was the coach. That season, they seemed to have given up and were nearly at the bottom of the standings.
As for PSG, they almost always finish as champions each season with a significant point lead over their competitors.
