Lens has shown everyone that they are absolutely a magnificent team but unfortunately the gap against PSG is still huge and i think this makes everything difficult, PSG is a stellar team that can do whatever it wants, and decide the fate of any other team, they know this and i hope that one day they can do well.

Other teams in Ligue 1 will need to have more money to match PSG's strengths. It's clear to everyone that even in difficult conditions, PSG can still win and stay at the top of Ligue 1 without having to beat a team like Lens. Furthermore, teams like Lens haven't been able to consistently win games until the end of the season, so this could be an advantage for PSG, who have dominated the league and have been able to beat any team until the end of the season, despite the occasional draw and loss.

RC Lens despite loosing the top spot on the table still prove to be a force to reckon with in the ligue one, PSG has succeeded in extending their lead at the table but they are weary of lens who is behind them with some points gap.

With the current standings right now, Lens might still make a lot of difference if they stay consistent and continue to keep the pressure on the league leaders

cause PSG may get to that stage where champions league pressure might take a toll on them and also affect their performance in the league which might provide lens another opportunity to reclaim the top spot again.

How did nobody sell their team so far? I get that it may not be ALL teams, but not a single one? That one is confusing to me and I would assume some team would have been sold by now. In the end, maybe there is one that I do not know about but until some rich dude buys a team and spends billions like PSG did, we will not see a rival for PSG.

I was very surprised  by the result of this match. PSG lost 3-1 . It was rennes home match. Even then we  expected psg  to win. But PSG's attack performed very badly today.

PSG's attack played  badly I say this because they missed several easy chances. PSG players were able to attack a lot. But they were weak in finishing in this match. PSG players had a total of 17  shots. There were also 6 on target shots. But PSG managed to score only 1 goal. On the other hand, Rennes scored 3 goals despite having 31 % ball possession. Rennes players played incredibly well today.

PSG hasn't face this level of challenge in a long time,I think it is interesting and Psg would really need to adjust because a single mishap could sink them behind lens in the table. I wouldn't have trusted lens to be a strong rival to psg this season. wonderful like if not for the fact that the game is almost ended I wouldn't have believed Paris Saint Germain will lost this game like who could have believed such a thing, but all nice because since the day one of this 2025/2026 French ligue 1 campaign I have always rooted for a different team to lift the French ligue 1 trophy and Lens is in a very good position to do that if only they can keep them head straight and focus on what they are doing, because this lost today has kept the point difference in just two points and if Lens try to win their next game they will move to first and I hope they keep it that way.

The reason why PSG is performing anyhow they like is because league 1 is a farmers league, I believe if it is othe league like Premier league, La Liga and serie A team that is playing like this current PSG they will not even make it to top four in the league table, PSG played one of their worst performance in this game, i can’t even recognise the team whether it is the same PSG that won Champions League last season, they are so bad that a team that is not having a good performance is beating them with 3 goals.

If league have teams that are very consistency Lens will win the league title but don’t have winning mentality, Lens deserve to win the league this season because they are having one of their best season ever in the league this season, if PSG win the league at the end of the season that means league one is not a good league because it will be one of the worst team to win the league without not having a good performance in the league.

PSG loss tonight paved the way for Lens to climb to the top of the Frencb Lig 1 table with 1 point Head of PSG. I like this development to make this league more competitive and not one in which we know the winner from the beginning of the season. Despite playing away, I'm confident that Lens overrun Paris to climb to the top of the league table. It is quite funny how PSG could beat Marseille 5-0 and lose to Rennes.

Stade Rennais is not a mediocre team after all, before they met PSG they were in the 6th position which shows that they ain't doing too bad just that their last 4 Ligue1 games has been met with bad luck just like when they went 4 consecutive draws. Stade Rennais was dangerous in their attacks so there was no way that PSG would have escaped defeat. The funny thing about this game is that Stade Rennais lost to lens last week but only to come today and win PSG just as Marseille won Lens but were defeated by PSG. Lens can now go back to the top of the table but they will have to win their opponent Paris, though even if they win Paris it will just be a point apart PSG so it's not worth celebrating except they get bigger gaps.
