Marseille lost 3-0 to Nice in a preseason match. I think Marseille is facing financial difficulties, and it looks like this season will likely be a rough one for them. Frankly, there’s no other explanation for their 3-0 loss to Nice in that preseason match. They’ll also play preseason matches against Nîmes and Athletic Bilbao. In their first preseason match, they managed to beat a team I’d never even heard of before 3-0.

It's just a usual Marseille lost to the Nice. Nevertheless, They are not that bad in this game by having at least same possession as Nice, however, the only disappointed thing is that how their players recorded zero attempts. So i guess this is the result after they let Greenwood and De Zerbi left from their club.

Still, it's a friendly game. It's hard to judge them will perform as bad as this in the active season, which is going to start in less than a month.

A part from that i guess the toxicity scandal in their club may also burden their players when playing. Hopefully, they will come back stronger. Losing to Nice is not the end of everything because they always up and down when they fought Nice since last seasons.

Luis Enrique's consistent success is nothing new. After consistent success at Barcelona, he is getting consistent success at PSG. He started his first season at Barcelona by winning the treble and brought PSG its first ever Champions League, and he even won two consecutive Champions League titles with PSG. Although he may not have great achievements in the Spanish national team, he is a great coach in club football.

After seeing his achievements, we may not have any doubts about him, but even if he is able to win Ligue 1 in the upcoming season, he is more likely to fail in the Champions League. Maybe he can get out of the quarter-finals or semi-finals of the Champions League in the upcoming season. PSG is still a great team, but the rest of the teams have also prepared strong teams.

Luis Enrique simply understood how to exploit modern football to his advantage but he deserves credit for having assembled a truly strong team from every point of view, there are no points lacking and indeed, a squad so well organized that even the changes would easily form a starting team.

That was surprising, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions about Marseille's current situation, as they could experience unexpected changes next season, even if they aren't aiming to win the Ligue 1 title. A team like Marseille often does unexpected things during the season, often causing problems for some of the other big teams in Ligue 1. So, regarding this defeat, I wouldn't jump to conclusions about the team's poor form, especially since it's still very early days for any team and they still have plenty of time to make changes.

I can no longer doubt the ability of Luis Enrique and the PSG team because they team is nearly the same with almost equal ability as last season. We saw most of his players in the world cup and their performance which still shows that with his experience in the coaching duty, he can still put them to good use. I was among those that doubted the possibility of PSG winning the title the second time but along the line I saw how ready they were before I started supporting them again. It is true that Real Madrid is seriously reinforcing their team with a very good arrival like the defence lord cucurella to strengthen their back line. However, I won't write off PSG because they are still among the favourites to win the champions League. It's not all about signing many players, what matters more is the ability to utilise the players you have. After all the signings that Arsenal made after loosing to PSG the previous season in the semi final, they still lost to them in the final again. Luis Enrique is a great coach and can never be written off completely.

We are talking about a Paris Saint-Germain to which we must give every credit, however last year there were no other teams 100% ready like them, the only one that comes to mind is Bayern Munich with whom in fact they risked leaving the Champions League, this year with the reinforcements from the other teams it will be more complicated.

The prediction for PSG to win the championship is very low, the other teams tend to improve by taking small steps, PSG is a team that has made giant strides and you can see it from the team's performance in recent years, and from the 2 European cups brought home in the last 2 years. i think he will win again this year

Paris Saint-Germain is more favored to win Ligue 1 than Bayern to win the Bundesliga, this is because in France Paris Saint-Germain has a category of its own, while in Germany at least teams like Dortmund, Lewerkusen and Leipzig tend to put a spoke in Bayern's wheels a lot, even if very often with poor results.

I think it's a good betting odd. Honestly, PSG doesn't look like a team that can be beaten right now. There isn't a team big enough or with new signings that can beat PSG. So, placing a bet and forgetting about it for a year might be profitable

Of course, everything changes until the season starts, and performances will fluctuate a lot even during the season, but I think PSG will dominate the league again this year. They will do whatever it takes to become champions again

We will also have to see the draws and which teams belong to whom, it would be nice to have a group made up almost exclusively of big names so that we could perhaps see different outcomes and eighths, fourths etc. with other teams and not always the same ones, so as to make the matches even less obvious given that in recent years the same ones have always qualified.

In the last 10 years, we saw 2 different champions in the Ligue 1:

- Lille
- Monaco

It is 1 different team when it comes to the Bundesliga: Leverkusen.

I actually think the same as you. The Ligue 1 makes me feel way easier for PSG than it does for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. But the results so far are a little bit different than that.  Grin

I see only Dortmund who can create competition against Kompany's students by the way. Leverkusen isn't managed by Xabi Alonso any longer. Leipzig aren't as good as Dortmund either.

It's true that there are tougher opponents in Germany, but Bayern Munich has maintained its dominance over them for years. Only Bayer Leverkusen won the championship undefeated a few years ago with a spectacular performance. Apart from that, Bayern Munich was the Bayern Munich we know and are used to.

Paris Saint-Germain also doesn't have an easy time in France. Monaco, Marseille, Lille, and this year Lens were their opponents. In my opinion, Paris Saint-Germain faces more difficult matches in the French league than Bayern Munich in Germany.

Teams like Dortmund, Leipzig, Leverkusen and Hoffenheim are nominal opponents, except for one season, in no season can these teams even fight for the title with Bayern Munich until the end of the season. Bayern Munich's dominance is seen every season and you can bet on their victory.
In comparison, I find the French league more competitive. Even though France regularly wins the Ligue 1 title, at least there are opponents like Lens, Lille, Marseille and Monaco who can at least compete with PSG. Lens made a good competition last season, but ultimately failed. Before that, Monaco and Marseille did this job. It is still not known who will make a title competition in the upcoming season, but I expect Lens to improve.

Since it's a preseason match, it's not a big deal because most teams do use their second-team players to play the game and prepare themselves for the next season, but being defeated against Nice, that narrowly escaped relegation last season, is something that is hard to take.

From the statistics of the game, they had no single shot in the match. What does that mean? They have no playmakers and no good strikers to even make an attempt to score goals for them.
The management of Marseille needs to make some changes against next season; if they approach the League 1 with this type of performance next season, they might be relegated.

I can't say that anyone will likely to doubt PSG because they are the best team in Europe currently. Even before a team should be doubted, the team has to take some negative action, maybe like selling their best player and PSG did not act that way. So, I don't expect anyone to doubt that PSG can't win the Champions League for the third time in a row. What I do know is that it may not be that easy for them, and that is how the Champions League always is because there are always other teams that are also desperate to win it. They are doing their best to strengthen their squads by signing more quality players. It is not only Real Madrid that is strengthening its team; other teams like Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and many others are also improving. So, we are expecting next season's Champions League to be very tough. I can't really say which team will be the favorite to win it next season, but the fact is that PSG will be among the top three favorites because they are the reigning Champions League winners, and I believe they are still strong enough

Marseille lost 3-0 to Nice in a preseason match. I think Marseille is facing financial difficulties, and it looks like this season will likely be a rough one for them. Marseille might not survive next season because of how the club is going right now, Marseille is really facing a big financial difficulties because we can see that they have sell many of their top players and they have not made any signing in this transfer window, the match against Nice is preseason but if we look at Marseille performance is very poor and that will also affect them when the season start, i think Marseille owners are the reason why the club is facing the problem they are facing now and if they did not sign good players before the season start the fans will not be happy about it.

PSG are one step away from matching Real Madrid's legendary feat (three consecutive Champions League titles), but it won't be easy. Their odds are currently listed at 6.0, making them the favorites, but still only a 17% chance. At the moment, I don't feel like betting for or against PSG. The situation is completely random and will remain so until the end of the Champions League group stage. Once the teams' paths are clear, then we can think about their realistic chances.

I believe that Madrid's record will remain Madrid's record for a while yet, with the excellent characteristics and excellent performances shown so far, Paris Saint-Germain is certainly one of the favorites for the final victory but a sixth sense tells me that this year they won't reach the final and if they do get there... they won't win it.

Luis Enrique will never give up until he sees there is no more chance, which for now there is still a good chance for PSG to still get a win for the third time straight, but we can’t say for now, as things might change if the seasons commence. From the previous season performances, PSG are still in the highest state of winning the champions league trophy. Although they will be much changes in this season’s champions league, so the challenges and pressures will be different.

Usually when a team becomes too self-confident, pieces begin to fall and the atmosphere in the team begins to weaken, due to lapses in attention due to lack of concentration but with an enormous ego, Luis Enrique must be careful to keep an eye on this aspect if he wants to try to win again.

Many things are expected of Ligue 1, among them the belief that some teams that are doing very well can compete with PSG. I think that Marseille, Lille, and some other teams that are making a lot of noise in Ligue 1 can make a difference, but things aren't set up for it. So what should be done? I insist on taking the teams and injecting more investment into them; more money is the solution for me.

Luis Enrique has proven that modern football is not about the 11 best players in the starting lineup, but about 21 players who understand the same idea. I see him as a system coach in the modern football era, he is able to conjure PSG into a team that has unlimited flexibility because it can play with various formations, such as 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 3-4-3, even false 9 in 1 match. He always demands that players understand their roles, not be fixated on a specific position. So it's no surprise that fullbacks can become midfielders, and wingers can become strikers. These changes can confuse opponents, as they can change formations during the match. Luis Enrique deserves praise for not expecting too much from Mbappe. When he wanted to go to Real Madrid, Enrique was not too worried because he knew that even without Mbappe, PSG still had plenty of money to bring in other quality players.

During last December, it was announced that Lyon had a net loss like 201 million euros. They were on the verge of relegation you know but they were saved from it once.

But how about now? I don't see much of a player sale by them recently. Aren't they supposed to sell more players not to face relegation again? Or can't they find anyone to sign them?

Endrick has returned to Real Madrid by the way. I wonder whether Lyon can loan him for another season.

But how about now? I don't see much of a player sale by them recently. Aren't they supposed to sell more players not to face relegation again? Or can't they find anyone to sign them?

Endrick has returned to Real Madrid by the way. I wonder whether Lyon can loan him for another season.

teams like these always manage to save themselves, i don't understand what's so strange about it, they make a return of capital and go back to celebrate as before, it's always happened like this and not only in France, but also in other countries, it's always been like this, they put the money back and get back to normal, and the cycle continues, naturally.

Lyon are unlikely to have a chance. Firstly, they say Mourinho hasn't made a final decision on him yet - that will be made after the pre-season training camp ends. Secondly, news appeared that Liverpool is interested in buying him and since his value to Real is low, they are ready to sell him for 50 million. For the Premier League, this is pennies  Grin They're saying negotiations will begin in the coming days. I'm happy for Endrick, in any case, this is a step forward for him.
