Now, they must remain focused as they approach the season's halfway mark if they are to contend for the championship.

It's not easy for Monaco to maintain consistency with the squad they have. Even though PSG seemed to start the season with poor performance, they have the depth and quality to improve as the season progresses. This isn't the first time they've performed poorly at the start of a season, either. So there's plenty of time for things to change, and it's too early to conclude that this is the end for PSG, as they could easily turn things around and get back to their best form. It's only a matter of time.

There's a really interesting situation here; who would have thought PSG would drop points in so many matches? It's truly remarkable that a team that has dominated this league for years has had such a bad start to the season; they're in a truly terrible situation right now.

All the points they've earned have come from last-minute goals. Their opponents aren't the strongest teams in the league either; we'd expect them to beat them easily.
I think this will change in the coming weeks; I don't think they'll continue playing like this Smiley

I was most surprised by the way PSG played. They were lucky to avoid defeat in the first two matches, but that luck was not working in the last match. The draw in the first two matches was even more disappointing than the defeat in the last match, the team that had dominated the whole season was being dominated by another team and PSG somehow managed to score two goals in the last minute to equalize. I am also hopeful, like you, that the results will change very soon. Their change may start with the Champions League match. Tonight they may taste their first win of the season with a win against Slovan Bratislava, even though it is a Champions League match.

The results PSG have gotten in these first three matches have really surprised everyone. I don’t think, over the past few seasons, they have started the season this poorly before, going without winning any of their first three matches. But I just believe that it’s football, and it always comes with surprising results sometimes. On normal ground, PSG have everything it takes to win all those three matches. But I just don’t know what happened because, in these three matches, they played so well but were just not lucky enough to win any of them.

But, as you said, I also expect changes very soon, and I believe they will start very soon because I know their coach may be looking for solutions to what is causing the problem. As for the Champions League, we expected PSG to have an easy match because their opponent is very weak team when we compared the squad.

To a large extent, I just have to agree with you especially about Paris Saint Germaine depth, it'll be very difficult for Monaco who's won all three league games they've played so far to keep up with that form till the end of the season. The reigning French and European champions will most likely catch up with them.
That said, it's also important to not forget history. If there's any French team that can stop PSG's dominance, it's Monaco, they've done it before and can as well repeat it again so let's not be totally dismissive of what they can achieve at the end of the season.

PSG today were fantastic in their display against a side that just qualified for champions league. They were able to score six goals against the new side., although I expected them to keep a clean sheet against those people, but they were not still able to keep it, they allowed those people to score to give them hope.

All the games that they played today carried both teams to score, leaving only Arsenal as the team that has not conceded a goal in this competition, however, theere was not too many goals in the match as Napoli only came to defend that game. Odegard was able to give Arsenal the only goal that was scored in that game. It is very good that the team have started their clean sheet run of form again in this season's champions league.

PSG will definitely try to catch up with Monaco, a seven point gap is significant, but I think it is still possible to close it. PSG has no other option but to win all their remaining Ligue 1 matches and hope that Monaco drops points elsewhere. Monaco has a very strong youth academy and develops many talented players, so it is not surprising that they might sell off players in the summer yet still perform at the same high level in the autumn. I think PSG's victory over Slovan Bratislava yesterday will boost their confidence and get them winning. And Dembele started the Champions League match, perhaps his form now allows him to play the full 90 minutes, and that immediately had a positive impact on PSG's attack.

Despite winning all three of their matches, Monaco still leaves me with some doubts due to their low goal output; they have managed to score only five goals across those three victories. This inability to score could make things difficult for them down the line. Paris Saint-Germain, on the other hand, got off to a very poor start to the season, yet they possess players with the quality to turn the situation around. Only three matches have been played so far, with more than thirty still to come. For Paris Saint-Germain, every upcoming match represents a step closer to the championship. The players need to pull themselves together and return to the form of a championship-winning team, just like last season.

However, it must be said that five goals in three games is not exactly a small number.

It's not even an important number, but it's still enough to guarantee him first position at the start of the championship. We will have to see in the next matches whether there will be a hint of improvement on the offensive side in terms of scoring or whether he will continue to maintain this consistency.

The belief that many people have in PSG is just so amazing, I think that's how well they have proven themselves time without number. Even with a bad start, there is still the belief that in due time, they will get back to their winning ways. Monaco are going strong with a good start but how well can that be?

From January, we should be seeing a more balanced table, just the way we expect. Maybe Monaco could still be top 3, it's still not a bad record for them.

I see this current league standings as a joke because the season is yet to start. Consistency is a big issue in the french league. After Lens failed to win the league last season, I just started wondering why the league always end the same way. I can say that at least, Monaco looks more serious among the teams on top of the league currently. Paris FC will still crash down, not for injuries, but in open plays. If Monaco plays very well this season, they can finish second or win the league. But no body should get comfortable with the current PSG weakness now. They will get back stronger and still fine themselves to the top. I hope Monaco is ready for the season, it's not about giving fans false hope now.

I think Lens had a really good season last year and i think they were unlucky at the crucial moment when they should have given their best. Instead he let go of the rope. At the moment, however, Monaco seems to be the most convincing among the French teams aiming for the final victory, but we must also consider that too little time has passed to make assumptions.

At that time, Monaco still had several quality players, including Mbappe, and in terms of overall quality, their squad was much stronger compared to PSG's. Now, compare the quality of the two clubs today.

I always remember which teams have managed to break PSG's dominance, but honestly, I still doubt that any Ligue 1 team, including Monaco, can end PSG's dominance in the current era. I'm not trying to underestimate them, but the quality of PSG's squad and the experience of their manager are two of the strongest factors that can keep PSG at the top.

However, no matter how PSG is in Ligue 1 at the moment, PSG is still my favorite to win the title, maybe PSG did not do well at the beginning, but there is still a lot of time left, there have been only 3 matches in the league, so nothing can be said right now. PSG is a very strong team, they showed a much stronger performance in the Champions League in yesterday's match, although the opponent was weak there. However, PSG will definitely turn around in Ligue 1. They can start winning from the next match, because they also know very well that they have to defend points from now to retain the title, they have only 2 points in the last 3 matches. So I believe that no matter what the first 3 matches of Ligue 1 are, they will start to take a different shape in the next match.

I agree that it is actually too early to judge PSG from just three league match and two points is actually a poor start, but we have seen enough from this team to know they can recover quickly and the Champions League performance has also show that their quality is still there but the main question is whether they can turn that quality into an active league results, because the season is long and dropping too many points early can still become costly later.

All the French teams, beyond Paris Saint-Germain, who actually have the possibility of collecting more points, should absolutely do so from the start. Teams like Lens and Monaco should take advantage of these constant errors by Paris Saint-Germain and their loss of points to be able to distance themselves and to be able to try to get as far as possible.

Indeed, at a time when Paris Saint-Germain is dropping so many points, other French teams need to climb the standings without dropping points themselves. They need to widen the gap to prevent Paris Saint-Germain from winning the league title. We are used to Paris Saint-Germain cruising to the championship every year in the French league, but this season, they have suffered unexpected dropped points after just three matches. Now, teams like Monaco must win every game to increase the points gap.

The difference between Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain in the league is seven points, but for all the matches that are still to be played, Paris Saint-Germain has every peace of mind that they will be able to return to the top of the table, while i already see it more difficult for Monaco to be able to become an unbeatable team to maintain this difference in points from last season's champions. Who knows, it would be nice to see another team other than Paris Saint-Germain win the championship, even if it's unlikely to go that way.

I was surprised to see Paris saint Germain in the position they are now in the Ligue 1 table that's unseen of them, they have 2 draws with a lose and no single win in their records i really think this is unbelievable.
I’ve been wondering what’s going on with PSG that they haven’t won a single game so far in Ligue 1. As the defending champions, this is not a good result. What really baffles me about PSG is that their performance in Ligue 1 stands in stark contrast to their performance in the Champions League, where they just scored a big win, yet in Ligue 1, PSG hasn’t won a single game. It makes me wonder, Is PSG now prioritizing winning the Champions League title for the third consecutive time over winning the Ligue 1 title? Or is PSG conserving their energy to unleash it when the time comes, just like last season.

Like everyone else, I too would like to see a team other than Paris Saint-Germain win the championship now, because that brings excitement to the league when the title is dominated by a single team as is the case in the Bundesliga it becomes boring. While there are battles for second place in both the Bundesliga and the French league, the champions in both leagues have dropped points this season. I believe Paris Saint-Germain, in particular, has dropped a significant number of points, handing a major advantage to their rivals. Of course, considering the quality of their squad and the team itself, Paris Saint-Germain certainly has the strength to close that gap.

It just depends on them. Monaco must succeed in every way to try to distance themselves from Paris Saint-Germain by exploiting every flaw that the French champions suffer. And this does not only apply to Monaco, but to all the teams that intend to compete and try to do something more for their club.

The odds for a PSG win against Brest have dropped significantly and now stand at around 1.25. I expected this to happen following a convincing Champions League victory over Slovan Bratislava. I doubt PSG will continue dropping points in Ligue 1, I believe they understand the gravity of the situation and the need to secure a win. Monaco will try to win as well, but their next opponent is Strasbourg, who have already beaten Lens, so I think they are capable of taking points off Monaco too.

PSG might be targeting a 3-time Champions League record, which we don't know; hence, more attention is/was being focused towards the Champions League game they played a few days back. Though I have no doubt in them despite the result so far, because the rest of the other teams in Ligue 1 aren't serious in challenging them for the title. Are you guys being disappointed because they've dominated the league? It's now like a tradition that they must top the table.

A tough opponent awaits Monaco. As for Paris Saint-Germain, I believe they could replicate the kind of performance they showed in the Champions League when they face Brest. They are very close to securing their first win. I also expect them to score plenty of goals, as the team will be focused on netting as many as possible to erase the memory of their poor run in the French league. The title race in France has already become exciting this season, Paris Saint-Germain has dropped a lot of points and will be trying to close the gap, which will add excitement to the league.
