Exactly. The only answer i have given myself for the moment is that the Parisian team wants to focus more decisively on the Champions League, thus giving its competitors in the championship the chance to advance. But i also believe that Paris Saint-Germain won't do it for a long time.
Even if Enrique wanted to focus more on the Champions League, I think that would only make sense if he were confident that everything was under control in Ligue 1 and that they had a significant advantage over the other teams. But since their position in Ligue 1 is not that strong, they will now have to give equal attention to both Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Or if they continue to lose points in Ligue 1 and the gap between them and Monaco becomes too large, then I think Enrique might eventually decide to focus more on the Champions League.

If we look at the recent past, we should certainly expect Marseille to be in the top three rather than the relegation zone - that is true. But right now, the club is facing financial difficulties even worse than Barcelona's, they are threatened with bankruptcy and exclusion from European competitions. They have such a huge hole in their budget that the spending cap for a single player is just 5 million   They are trying to survive, I don’t know whether they will succeed or not, but the fact that the good times are over is 100%.

It's sad when you hear certain news about historic teams like Marseille. Because in any case the French championship does not have a notable number of experienced teams at its disposal, while Marseille and Lyon are among them and when you hear news of this type it obviously can't help but be sad.

I hope with all the best that Marseille can recover because in any case they are a team that has made the history of the French championship and i don't wish them relegation, even if it is actually very early to talk about it. However, if the path does not change quickly it will also become a real risk.
If you look at how Marseille have consistently managed to stay in ligue 1, you would not doubt their ability to survive. Staying in ligue 1 for more than 20 seasons is not an easy achievement. So, regardless of their results from the beginning to the middle of the season, Marseille always know how to stay in ligue 1 and avoid relegation in the end.

When it comes to Paris Saint Germain, we shouldn't have headache because at the end of the season, they will be crown champions of Ligue One with stellar performance. This is the plan of Luis Enrique, they're always having a slow start when season kick off. PSG have build a team that will be having consecutive winnings and knowing how to pull up with outstanding performances and having the available players.

If PSG win the league again after a slow start to the season, one will not be surprised because the league they are in is a farmers league. One particular team can dominate for years without any team coming to compete with them. They have been dominating for years now, both in their league and the champions league, and that should tell you the level that Luis Enrique is, he has been the best coach in the world for the past two years now, winning the champions league back to back.

The difference between their league and the premier league is very obvious, in premier league, there are more teams competing for the European spot than the French league one.

It would no longer come as a surprise if we ultimately see Paris Saint-Germain get the Ligue 1 title. Even with their current position in the standings, they remain the favorites in outright betting. FYI, the image above shows the latest outright betting odds for Ligue 1, that's not the old version. I think that even if they lose their next 3 or 4 matches, they will still be able to become champions.

The league has only just begun, and I do not consider these dropped points to be particularly significant. PSG will eventually find their rhythm and take the top spot. While other teams may have strengthened their squads, the quality of PSG's roster is exceptionally high. Reaching that level is no easy feat, and once PSG regains its consistency, competing with them will be a difficult task.

If other teams wish to challenge PSG, they must minimize errors and keep dropped points to an absolute minimum. Just because PSG’s performance hasn't been stellar in the opening matches, it does not mean things will continue that way.

Paris Saint-Germain has such a large bench that they could easily play with two starting players in various competitions. Indeed, Luis Enrique will have to balance which players he can play in the Champions League and which ones he can rest when necessary, giving those who are often on the bench the chance to shine.

After reading your statement several times, I am confused about what your actual conclusion is. So, what is the difference between this season and last season according to your argument? You said that last season PSG lost consistency in several matches and were more focused on the UCL. But this season, PSG have also lacked consistency at the beginning of the season. So, there is no difference at all.

I honestly can't explain why Paris Saint-Germain started the season so unevenly. i think the important thing for a club is to bounce back and see their team regain control of the game and the right attitude to winning. Indeed, after their first Champions League victory, Paris Saint-Germain also managed to secure their first league win, which seems to have helped them evaluate their league games.

It is actually too early to judge Psg just based on a few opening matches besides this season is still very long, and a team with that kind quality in the squad can easily stand strong from the begging of the league. I think the dropped points should not simply be ignored because there’s still time and if Psg continue giving their best the pressure will increase and as for the other teams, this is the best time take advantage they don’t really need to be better than psg in every area, but they have to be stay focused and avoid unnecessary dropped point and I still have this feeling that PSG will definitely turn up as the season goes by.

That's why i don't understand journalists talking about a bad year.
I mean, there have only been five games, and Paris Saint-Germain has certainly started the season poorly, but that doesn't automatically mean they've missed the chance to win the league, because, as they've shown in the past, they're a team that knows how to surprise and transform their quality in a matter of moments.

I remember Marseille each day and I start wondering what could have happened. The Marseille went grew up watching was quite different, a strong team and a trustworthy team. I don't know how they will survive this season because it's finally worse for the team. They are now more focused on getting out of the financial crisis than chase titles which is why they sold off majority of their key players and signed mediocre players. But I am sure they will still get to somewhere around the first 6 or 7 at the end of the season. The glory days will always be remembered as they still remaining the third highest winner of the League one.

I'm yet to see such criticism from journalists. Although, we could see them here already. Its high time they go back to speed and start winning these games. I don't know if the squad experiences burnout, but they haven't shown good signs of being at their highest level of being productive. There are good enough and worthy challenges in League 1 and Monaco after five games are showing the signs my question is if they can keep up with the marathon. They're also playing the Europa League Competition, they have to be competent both Competitions to win both. Luis Felipe did well with his last club in Brazil, could he be the man to challenge Luis Enrique?!

I was actually asking Shadiq, but you were the one who answered, but that's okay, I will answer it.

If you cannot explain why PSG started the season inconsistently, actually many people here have already said that many main players suffered losses after playing for their national teams in the WC. So the coach tried to give them full attention and more time to rest so they could recover their stamina and be ready to chase the UCL title. So this season, PSG will be a little different and will start the season not so well.

It is Marseille's misfortune that, while their rivals have been competing with squads worth billions of euros, winning the Champions League in the last two seasons, and standing at the pinnacle of European soccer, they themselves have been forced to sell even their mid tier players. The remaining players are barely enough to keep the team in Ligue 1. PSG's successes should have been enough to bolster France's established clubs, but that didn't happen. This season, just like every other, PSG is the top contender for the title. The team that will challenge PSG this year will be Monaco. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Monaco won the 2027 Ligue 1 championship.

It's always a great disappointment when a historic city like Marseille and its club are named among the worst teams of the season. It's true that the championship is still long, and I hope there's a turnaround soon that will get Marseille back to winning ways. However, the start has probably been one of the worst in recent years, and the club's debts certainly don't help them improve their quality.

even though psg started the season with only two wins in their first five games and faces strong competition, they are by far the clear favorite in the title race.

This might turn out to be one of the seasons where we would be surprised by any of the teams in the Ligue 1. I understand that PSG has got superior quality compared to the rest of the teams in the ligue 1 but, them being favorites for the league trophy this season is something I’m not quite certain on. A team that started there season with several draws and have won about 2 games if I’m not mistaken, we might see this kind of performance all season.

The previous season showed that no matter what changes a team makes, it is still extremely difficult to break PSG's dominance. Look at how Lens came closer to winning the title, but unfortunately, they lost their motivation and confidence after their match against PSG was rescheduled. Besides that, although Monaco are currently at the top of the table, I consider their position to be purely the result of their improvement, while PSG are currently focused on managing the workload of their key players. As a result, Monaco may look strong for now, but in the end, the Ligue 1 giant, with its far greater financial resources, is capable of controlling the league.

Last year, Paris Saint-Germain was one of the best clubs in all the leagues, if not the best. Besides winning the Champions League for the second consecutive year, they proved to be a truly compact and resourceful team. And despite Lens coming dangerously close to winning Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain managed to pull it off again.

But no team is ready to lose points at the beginning of the season, PSG have lost points this season despite giving their best. There is definitely a possibility of PSG's comeback, but I doubt whether that comeback will be effective this season. They will also have to make risky decisions due to the busy schedule in the middle of the season. Monaco may not be under that pressure.

When you find yourself competing for both the Champions League and the league, you need to be able to make key decisions about what risks to take and which competitions to focus on more. It's natural that the Champions League is a more ambitious prize, even in terms of the final prize pool. But the league, as a trophy to give to your fans, certainly shouldn't be overlooked.

They will almost certainly be able to turn things around, but honestly this "almost certainly" worries me too, it's not a given that they will succeed, but anything is possible for the type of team they have.
It's not a lot of points to recover and the championship is still long, so for the numbers and time they are in order to be able to do it, instead for the plays they are making they are the ones that are the least convincing.

The championship is still extremely long. All teams have the chance to completely turn the tables. There's still a long way to go, and there are still many games to go, so they certainly have plenty of time to gain all the points they need to climb the standings.

We know Paris Saint-Germain got off to a poor start in the league, but once the players find their match rhythm as the season progresses, there are very few teams capable of stopping them.

As much as defending the champions league is important to Paris saint Germain, so also is defending the domestic league title. You may think UCL is more crucial to them than the league title but I doubt. If they fail to win the domestic league, the pain will be much too. And it’s not like they will always win it. If they continue the way they started the season, another team might take it away from them. we have seen Monaco did it in the most recent time that I can remember. I will even want another team lift it again I don’t like this sort of dominance.
