It would no longer come as a surprise if we ultimately see Paris Saint-Germain get the Ligue 1 title. Even with their current position in the standings, they remain the favorites in outright betting. FYI, the image above shows the latest outright betting odds for Ligue 1, that's not the old version. I think that even if they lose their next 3 or 4 matches, they will still be able to become champions.

I don't think I'll be surprised to see them as champions again, in fact I'm quite sure they'll make it with ease. i also think it's a good thing for Ligue 1 to see them play like this at this level.
I still have to define what they want to do in Europe but i think they're perfectly capable of winning the championship.

PSG are a very good side, they have won the  champions league back to back now, and that shows how good they are as a team. Their solidity is unquestionable. Their league is one they can always win with ease, one doesn't have to have any doubt about them on that one, but one thing I will be looking forward to seeing this season is if they can win the champions league again. They defeated Arsenal the last time on penalties, but I will be so much surprised if other teams allow them to win the champions league for the third consecutive time in a row.
 According to PSG, winning their league is not always a major achievement to them since their league is more easier for them to win, but winning the champions league is where they can be proud.

Monaco stopped them in one of those seasons and that was when Mbappe was still a Monaco player. That season, Monaco was a team on a different level considering the teams budget as to other top teams across Europe, they outplayed and won Guardiola's Manchester City team that season to eliminate them from the champions league. I think it was the next season that these big clubs came to buy most of their star players and that was how Monaco crashed. I will also like a new team to win the French league as well, PSG has been dominating since that time again, a new face will be welcomed as champions, a new team should emerge and snatch the trophy away from them since they have started the season poorly.

I think this year's French League is more balanced and enjoyable than ever before. Seasons dominated by PSG were quite boring, but now they're behind in the title race and every team is really fighting. We can see that the quality of the league has increased. Besides, when a league is dominated by one team, watching the matches isn't very enjoyable. Trying to figure out who's second in a race where the champion is already decided isn't a very pleasant experience

Can somebody remind me the last time PSG lost the Ligue 1 and not held the number 1 spot on the table in the end of the season??? I believe that would be the same question on people's lips at the end of this season as well. Personally, I love what's currently going on in Ligue 1, where there's no fierce competition, the game is boring, and for PSG to be having the easiest winning all the time is the height of it. But this will not make the pursuit of the Champions League to surpress the importance of the home league. Ligue 1 is equally important, and I don't see how they could say they are the best if they win CL but failed in Ligue 1. Watch out for a hot competition soon.

Do you really believe a team other than Paris Saint-Germain will win the title in France, my friend? Of course, the Champions League is more important and a higher priority for Paris Saint-Germain, but we shouldn't forget that there are hardly any other contenders for the championship in France besides PSG. I don’t think anything bad has really happened to PSG in Ligue 1. Yes, their start to the season hasn’t been the best, but on the other hand, they’re only five points behind Monaco right now, and I don’t think that’s a big gap for PSG.

Also if you look at the teams currently near the top of the table, Monaco, Lyon, Lille, and even Paris FC, who are also up there for now, I don’t think any of them will be able to go through the entire season without dropping points. Some of them could also experience a dip in form during the season.
I think PSG will move back up the table, but I still believe that the Champions League is the most important competition for Enrique, and that’s where he will focus most of the team’s efforts.

Monaco is currently at the top, but we must not forget that there are only 5 matches in the league, and there are still 29 matches left, whether Monaco can stay at the top for so many matches does not seem possible to me yet. Because PSG has very high players compared to other teams including Monaco, and they are the team that won the Champions League title for the last 2 seasons. And so since there are still many matches left, and so I think PSG can take their position to the top very quickly if they want. At least in their case I think it is not too difficult, I do not know what happened to PSG, but I am very confident that they will still be strong enough to come back and have the possibility of winning the title, now we just need to wait and see.

The recent poor performance is mainly due to the new players, these players need time to adapt. It even seems that Luis Enrique is trying something new, he is not using his main players in the starting eleven. In none of the matches where they lost points did Luis Enrique use his best players in the starting eleven. Even Nuno Mendes was not used in those matches. After Mendes returned, PSG started to return to winning ways. Luis Enrique is still trying to save energy which he will use in the middle of the season or at the end of the season. They have no reason to worry about Ligue 1, I think they will find a good position in the Champions League too.
