Can new crypto beat Eth in the market?

I think new coins have no chance to beat ethereum in cryptocurrency.
Even top coin like BNB Binance coin cannot beat ethereum in coinmarketcap rank, it is still below ethereum.
Now there are many defi projects using ethereum blockchain, making ethereum more valueable in cryptocurrency, and that's why i said new coins won't have a chance to beat ethereum now.

Eth has been the reason for the Defi pumps and made the market Hot , Most of them are ERC20 tokens using ethereum blockchain, so I think none of them can beat Ethereum as It has been for many Dapps and tokens .

I think this is possible because if you look at the back 5 years you will realise that how crypto market has changed in the last 5 years and nobody knows what will happen in coming next 5 years so I think there is a high chance to beat ethereum by any other cryptocurrency

Eth has strong platform and a huge volume on market .Its a long time has passed its not beaten for long time so its so tough to overcome eth .I have seen a lot of project and don't get any hope that can overcome eth.

Well definitely they can. If they can pulled of something that ETH doesn't have then they can dethrone it on its current position. If that particular coin will harvest a lot of investors, exceed the market volume that ETH have, better services and more then there's no doubt they will have the 2nd spot. However, I doubt that ETH will give that easily especially now that they're working on ETH 2.0.

As the market keeps widening more and more development happens with new cryptocurrencies. As a result there is chance of new cryptocurrencies to beat ethereum in the long term.

Ethereum being the leader of altcoins, having the highest supply and usage next to bitcoin won't go down in a short as there is continued development compared to most altcoins that has failed.

Yes that was possible, do you realize that on some point of late 2018, Ripple (XRP) was overtaken the second place on coinmarketcap which is Ethereum? So yeah, there is always a possibility of a token/coin will overtaken the second place on coinmarketcap, especially Polkadot which is right now on  the 5th place, had a good opportunity to climb into a higher place on coinmarketcap.

This is about Market Capitalization and Volume in my opinion, the price is not too influential and it also seems that ethereum's tough competitors are Polkadot and BNB but I bet more on Polkadot because this project was founded by a former Ethereum developer and also the vision and mission of Polkadot in my opinion is better than with ETH and also currently ETH has a lot of drawbacks.

I think sooner or later there will be projects that can be as popular and as valued as Ethereum, but it won`t be fast. Many projects have more contemporary blockchains, which are much more better, than ETH, but they don`t have enough community support or users experience to become as popular as Ethereum

IMO the only coin that can challenge ethereum on the list is BNB. THey have the technology, community, market and fund at every form to defend their product. BNB is now working to provide a blockchain that can relegate ETH and take care of all the weakness we have been dealing with on ethereum blockchain. I appreciate the fund that came through ethereum into this space but we could seek other sources if it is available

Maybe later some time or maybe not. But it will be a hard challange for that coin to cross ethereum. At this point of time it's very hard to cross ethereum. Cause ethereum holds one of the biggest marketcap after bitcoin. And the size is really big. And not only the marketcap. Ethereum also has a big community and devlover support fron 1st party 3rd party both. All total the ecosystem of ethereum is really big. And there are lots of platform based token available and technically some of them are better that ethereum but still it's hard to take over ethereum that easily.

Without any doubts I can say there is a possibility that new cryptos can beat and out rank ethereum in the market especially now that there are many potential De-Fi platforms are making noise and hype in the crypto industry but it will take a longer time before it happen knowing the credibility of ethereum and its achievement which they need to surpass before they can beat ethereum.

Ethereum biggest competitor is Ripple because both of them are aiming to the top, but ETH remains top 2 next to bitcoin for many years. I see some new cryptocurrencies like DeFi projects who has a potential to become one of the top coins, but I think it will take long for them to surpass Etheruem and Ripple as one of the top coins in the crypto market.

Yes, all crypto tokens are built based on different concepts and systems even though most of the new crypto tokens use the platform from ETH, so it would be ridiculous if someone compared the new crypto tokens that have not been successful with ETH which is already really strong and successful inside crypto.
