It was an interesting game for sure. It reminded me of the 4-3 victory Liverpool had over this same Fulham team when they took the lead at Anfield in the premier league in the 80th minute and Liverpool responded quickly through an Endo + TAA strike to win 4-3.

This EFL game gave the same vibe. Fulham were ahead for most part and Klopp changed the dynamics of the game by introducing Nunez and Gakpo.

It would've been more than two goals but I would take the win. Now, Liverpool just needs to win or draw Fulham in the return leg to seal our spot in the finals. This season is shaping up nicely for Klopp and the boys

I do disagree, i believe that chelsea need a new manager or coach to show significant changes in the clubside progress on the pitch, performance wise and also trophy wise.
You do not need a world class 11, to defeat a Middlesbrough championship side missing 10 players in the carabao cup semi final.

Chelsea may need a new manager but it won't be easy to get a proper coach now. It is still in the middle of the season, a new manager must adapt with the players as well. However, even though they could not become champions before, they usually took part in the first four matches and finished the league in the top four places. They even won the UCL cup. However, there has been a curse on the club for the last 2 years and they give me the impression of an ordinary team that cannot get the results they want. Chelsea must get to better places now. However, Liverpool went a long way by winning the 1st leg of the semi-final match and Liverpool will surely win the next match and play more aggressively just to get to the final.

This is important winning because Fulham is not easy to beat even Liverpool have to conceded first in the first half and in the second half Klopp has been decide to playing Nunez and Gakpo and this strategy was successfully to makes Liverpool playing more attacking and these players too was safe Liverpool from the loses because Gakpo was scored through an Nunez assist however although Liverpool win but i didn't satisfied to their performance yesterday because Liverpool should be able to win with more than 2 goals and during the match i have seen some of Liverpool players still wasted several attempts to scores and for second leg this shouldn't be happend again
Liverpool indeed one step closer to the final match because they can able to overcomes Fulham yesterday but in my opinion 2-1 is still not safe because everything is still possible to happend and besides that Fulham at home during this season was quite strong so Liverpool should be carefull to them

Even though Chelsea just won a landslide win against Preston in the FA Cup and I think they could take this opportunity to win again against one of the teams in the Championship in the EFL Cup. The chelsea performing so poorly in the first leg and and i can't even believe it how it can lose against a lower division club. I were not happy seeing it and im not even believing the result got by chelsea against middlesbrough.
