Quite some surprise results in the FA cup from the Premier League teams,they almost all of them have not won and we are at additional time now when the result are 1-1 for West Ham and 2-2 for Nottingham Forest.I know that most teams try their second formation when they are playing against lower division but that is unacceptable to not win against teams like Blackpool which is suffering a league down than Nottingham Forest.The same for West Ham,a team who won the Europa Conference League is not winning either against weaker teams playing in lower divisions.Luckily next week Premier League action will be back.

But in fact, the trophy-winning teams here in the FA Cup are also dominated by top Premier League teams such as Manchester City and Liverpool and several others. Therefore, I think even though West Ham and Nottingham failed to win in this match, I think it doesn't matter too much because anyway, in the end only the top teams will have a chance to get the trophy in this FA Cup.

But yes, the match has ended and at least West Ham and Nottingham will play a replay match later and thus, then of course West Ham and Nottingham will still have a chance to be able to win and qualify for the next round . But ya, apart from that it looks like there are currently more interesting matches because after all, currently there is a match between Arsenal v Liverpool, obviously this remains a big match.

I think the performance in the FA Cup really depends on the squad's depth. Look at Chelsea, they got a very good squad depth coming from their academy. From their academy players like Armando Broja and Gallaghers were produced.  Look at Manchester City, they destroyed the other team.

West Ham and Nottingham Forest may have drawn their matches but these do not reflect their actual performance.

The Arsenal vs Liverpool match is currently going on and both teams seem to have their strongest 11 playing right now. The scores are still 0-0. 60 minutes have passed, I think Arsenal might win this match because they created more chances than Liverpool.

It is expected that De Bruyne will start playing for the first team this January. His absence in the Manchester tram has really shown in the out put of Erling Halland. And Halland has to score lots of goals for Manchester to be able to win games and possibly climb on the table.

I'm not sure if you didn't notice that Kevin De Bruyne has recovered and played his first game against Sheffield on December 30 that's why Manchester City's game is slowly improving and is in 3rd position, it must be admitted that De Bruyne's presence really had an impact on the team it's just that I'm not sure De Bruyne will be played in today's match. In the near future Manchester City will become Liverpool's main competitor and after playing their 20th match Manchester City is only 2 points behind Liverpool, on the other hand Liverpool will play without Moh Salah because he joined the National team for the African Cup.

Kelvin De Bruyne is undeniably a great impact on the City team, a classic midfielder that is a masterpiece of his role on the pitch. Returning with an impressive assist despite staying away due to injury.

The most astonishing thing about how he played in the game against Huddersfield is as though he has been on the playing field throughout the beginning of this season till now. KDB is a class of its own.

It doesn't have to be in the nearest future, the competition is now already started with the return of Kevin De Bruyne and Doku back to the City's squad. Liverpool at same time losing their key player Mo.salah to his national team a call he has to obey and that's a big loophole for Liverpool who are currently on 45points  just 5 points on the top of the table above Manchester City that's in 3rd position with 40 points. So the points difference is not that much to catch up before Mo. Salah returns by the second week of February when the AFCON competition must have ended.

Kevin De Bruyne did not start the match against Huddersfield Town. I mean let's get real, even if he came back after 6 months, he does not need to play that match and risk another injury. But he came on the field after 57 minutes replacing Jack Grealish. Manchester City did well though, beating Huddersfield Town 5-0. I know they are not a good team but it is a big victory any team would be proud of.

Manchester City's current concern should be the premier league, they have already gone ahead of Arsenal because Arsenal fumbled in a few matches. Their next concern is Liverpool and Aston Villa. I believe they can get ahead of Aston Villa but Liverpool will be a problem. But now that Salah is playing in the AFCON, they can try to get over Liverpool with this chance.

Luiz Diaz just scored a stoppage time goal to seal Liverpool's win and end any Arsenal's hopes of coming back into the game. The both teams I must say played really well and had chances of winning the game before now but football is one game you must play in your full strength as a team till the final whistle before you can get a result and Liverpool were the team that really did fight till the end today.

Arsenal manager will definitely not be happy with the result but the thing is that he can't even do anything about it at the moment Liverpool has secured the win and sent Arsenal out of the English FA Cup competition.

I expected Nottingham Forest to win at home.Nottingham, who managed to play well compared to their opponent, could not win the match.The home team, who closed the first half 2-1 behind, could not find enough goals despite the pressure in the second half.

I do not understand what you meant by Arsenal performance against Liverpool was so poor. We understand that Liverpool won Arsenal in this match but it was not an easy task for Liverpool because they could not even score until the 10th + 5 minutes. The first goal that was scored in the match was called in the 80th minute and it was an own goal from the Arsenal player. What actually we are you expecting when the meeting was between Arsenal and Liverpool, did you expect that Arsenal will be able to win Liverpool with three goals even in the first half? To be very honest with us, Arsenal their best but their best was not good enough to win the match for them and besides they did not play against any random English side rather they played against Liverpool which is a very big and top performing club in the English Premier League.
Now that Arsenal is eliminated from the FA cup it is an opportunity for them to focus only on one trophy and make sure that they do not go trophyless this season.

I mean when they are faced with some big competitions (for big clubs) like the Champions League competition, EPL and FA Cup sometimes for some big clubs it always tries to eliminate one of the competitions so that they are not too messed up with a busy schedule and so that players are not compelled to work harder and of course if something like that happens then the FA Cup is an option for them to eliminate the competition because after all they will not push further on this matter so that the depth of the squad can mean nothing if their goal is not in this competition except indeed for Chelsea where they have nothing to gain in the EPL then surely they will try to focus more on the FA Cup.

And after 90 minutes they scored another goal and won the match 2-0. Arsenal's performance was not bad but they failed to win. Liverpool went one step closer to winning the FA Cup title.
