This is my take on the EPL at the moment. I think it would be more difficult for Arsenal to battle it out with Manchester City now that City have got all key players back in the team. Arsenal seem to be the ones who have lost their form. Aston Villa are also firing at the moment but I doubt they can maintain the momentum for too long. Liverpool also don’t look like much problem for Manchester City at the moment without Mo Salah. Guardiola obviously have an advantage in the race.

it is unfortunate Arsenal are involuntarily dropping from the EPL title race following their three consecutive games that they dropped points by losing to Westham, Fulham and drawing against Liverpool giving Liverpool a place at the top of the table. No disrespect to Aston Villa but we all know sooner or later they won't be able to face the heat of the position they currently occupy on the table as Manchester City are now bouncing back with the recovery of their key players KDB and Doku from injury with Haaland soonest. I even doubt if Liverpool will still be at the top by the end of February with the absence of Salah at the moment.

The main thing that Arsenal should not be knocked out on the back of this defeat and not continue to lose in the EPL, because the statistics of their games does not look comforting, 4 points in the last 5 matches. This is terrible for their position in the table, as a 5 point gap from first place in such a difficult season is quite a big deal

If I refer to the statistics and line-up that Arteta fielded, I'm not sure they are really aiming for victory in the FA Cup match. the reason is, Arteta did not play his full core squad. whether intentionally or not, I really don't know what Arteta is thinking and planning. what is certain is that Arteta has made changes to the rotation of his players.  But let's just say that, if the Arsenal coach focuses his squad more on the Premier League. maybe that's why Arteta didn't play some of his main players, and I hope that's the scenario. or maybe Arteta is running out of ideas against Liverpool, but that conclusion seems unrealistic. so, the closest scenario is if Arsenal focuses more on the Premier League. after all, the course of this match was quite balanced based on statistics. in fact, in terms of opportunities, Arsenal is better. the first goal was a blunder by Jakub Kiwior, and Liverpool's second goal came in the 95th minute. well, let's see how Arsenal plays their match in the Premier League later. and I hope Arteta is able to get his squad back on the right track, because after all the opportunity is still wide open. after all, this competition still has quite a long match, and what is certain is that Arsenal cannot repeat the same mistakes as last season, which saw a decline as the competition neared the end.

It's one thing to say Liverpool and Man City are title contenders, but Aston Villa demands that their presence in the title race be taken into account. That means we have to add Unai Emery to the list on a par with Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp, but when it comes to maintaining balance and consistency, personally I have more confidence in Man City and Liverpool. The competition in the top four continues with a very small difference in points, a small mistake will have a huge impact on the position in the standings. Arsenal and Tottenham will pressure Man City from below, automatically Pep and his troops must be able to secure full points when they face Newcastle next week.

Of course, Liverpool is not the only one affected by this. Still, leaving the team at a time like this would be damaging for Liverpool, which is competing for the title. They need Salah to become champions. He's a fantastic striker. He also plays great on the wing. Frankly, it is a privilege to have it. I hope he returns soon.

Mo Salah will prefer to win the AFCON with Egypt than the premier League with Liverpool. Mo Salah has been unlucky at AFCON, he hasn't won it despite been the best player in Africa and having a good teammate. They have reach some finals but always unlucky and Mo Salah wouldn't want to return soon

Liverpool can play well and win without Mo Salah. He's their best goal scorer but he's not a striker. Mo Salah is a winger and there are other good players that can play his position, Liverpool proved it against Arsenal in the FA cup by winning and knocking them out of the tournament.

J.Klopp is an experienced coach and he also has alot of players that he can rotate to bring victory to his team. Other premier league clubs are losing players for AFCON therefore other teams won't be playing at their peak and this give chance for any team to win.

The players going to play AFCON aren't going away for a long time so they won't be missing alot if their teams can hold on until they're back to continue from where they stopped to keep carrying their teams and winning games for them.

Mo Salah wants to help his country perform well in the African Cup of Nations, and he will be looking forward to winning the African Cup of Nations this year. Mo Salah's absence will make Liverpool find it difficult to win their matches because there will not be a player like Salah who will be scoring so many goals for Liverpool.

There is a decline in Arsenal, I agree. I think the reason for this decline is the bad form. They were very good in the league, but their morale must have been destroyed because they suffered consecutive defeats. Even though the cup match was considered unimportant, I think they could have taken the match more seriously when the opponent was Liverpool. After all, a win against an opponent they compete with in the league gives you the psychological advantage.

For the match between Middlesbrough vs Chelsea this is semifinal of Carabao Cup and for the first leg Middlesbrough will playing as a host and Pochettino was targetting the winning result for this match because if Chelsea can able to do that then it can makes Chelsea journey be more easy and Pochettino have good chances to give Chelsea first trophy under him so that's why he has ambition to overcomes Middlesbrough and although Chelsea currently not consistent but i am quite confident they can able to overcomes Middlesbrough

I agree because Manchester United's performances change from day to day.I think they might have the mentality of "we played very well today, let's not get tired for the next game" because they played well in one game.I can easily say that about the league games.I think they reward themselves for playing well in one game.

That's the problem with Manchester United this year, they can't score goals no matter how many chances they get into position.This is evident in most of their defeats.I don't think Manchester United will progress much in the cup with this game.
I don't know if Chelsea can win this match, I'm not sure, but even if they win, I think a very difficult match awaits them, at least I don't think there will be too much difference, I don't think there will be too much difference, I think the home team has a good chance of scoring in this match, it could end with a score of 1-1 or 1-2.

I this agree with the post above me, I don't think arsenal tried to win that game, I watch the match and first half both teams played very poorly, the chances Arsenal had were never a serious threat to Liverpool defense in any way. I think it was generally a boring match and both teams did not give it their all, Liverpool had some luck to end up winners in the end.

Arsenal must try to win the match, it shouldn't be debated.  
If the players played poorly, it doesn't mean they have no intention to win the game/match. Arsenal players couldn't make a very serious threat, it is probably caused by the strong defense of Liverpool. Liverpool defenders tried to give no chance for Arsenal players to get good opportunities in scoring goals. We must appreciate what have done by Liverpool defenders, they were able to make Arsenal attackers feel frustrated.

Any match is a very important match, maybe according to some people Arsenal doesn't really attach much importance to this match because their main focus is playing in the Premier League and Champions League but I don't think so, Arsenal is also focused on the FA Cup but because the opponent is quite tough, Arsenal can't breaking into Liverpool's defense because Liverpool played very aggressively and really didn't give the home team a chance until in the end Arsenal had to suffer defeat. In the first meeting between the two this season in the English league, Arsenal achieved a draw with Liverpool so this concludes that Liverpool is the opponent which was quite difficult for Arsenal so Liverpool's victory was not just luck.

Of course, the first goal was Arsenal's mistake and it was also luck for Liverpool, but Liverpool didn't rely on that goal alone because in fact Liverpool kept adding to their goals, making it increasingly difficult for Arsenal to equalize.

Arsenal were desperate even before this match started because they continued to get bad results in the previous match. From unexpected defeats to the previous draw against Liverpool in the EPL also haunted them. I think Mikel Arteta failed to raise the motivation of his players and here Jurgen Kloop is better prepared for the rematch against Arsenal in the FA Cup. Liverpool is definitely aiming for victory because they want to win this title and it will also be a good result if they can win the EPL title this season.

We know that Liverpool experienced a bad period last season, but if you look at what they have achieved so far, of course they can win the treble of the EPL, FA Cup and also the European league. They are very favored in this competition and especially for the EPL, it may be the toughest competition considering that the competitors are great teams every season and plus there are newcomers like Aston Villa who are starting to damage the competition this season.

Clubs like Manchester City and Tottenham would have scored more than 5 goals yesterday. Even in the second half, Manchester United were less convincing. Much of the urgency and purpose evaporated from their play. Still, though, they could have extended their lead with better finishing, but failed.

They did really struggle converting chances as they had a whopping 33 shots taken and 14 of them were on target. They managed to score only 2 out of those 14. Some may say you got lucky and other say it's a calculated risk. Anyways, congrats on the win. Manchester United play Tottenham Hotspurs at Old Trafford next. Spurs are still struggling defensively with all the injuries in their team and them not having any primary center back in their team. They have surprisingly done okay without a CB so far but against better teams, that could be exposed. Should be a good match regardless.

Yeah at least that's what we think but after watching how Liverpool beat Arsenal a few days ago in the FA Cup match then we can conclude that Klopp already has another strategy when playing without Mo Salah and it's quite effective. I think Liverpool can still compete with other top teams even without Mo Salah, unless they play against Manchester City well here Mo Salah role is really needed to balance Manchester City's game. In the next match Liverpool will play against Bournemouth and I think Liverpool will play without any problems pretty sure 3 points can be earned, Liverpool's only obstacle is a busy schedule which has an impact on the player's stamina.
