The first half of the match ended with Arsenal having a 2 goal lead,  Luton is no competitor against Arsenal and I pay less of an interest into their match, since it is rest assured that Arsenal must win with even topping more goals, what is actively interesting to watch is that of Mancity and Aston villa, with Mancity on the lead with yet a goal difference, on my own prediction, it's likely for both teams to have a goal in this match, in which Mancity is already making it happen and we wait for Aston Villa to net the ball against City or conceive another.

Just some seconds after my prediction, Aston villa has scored a goal, leading to an equalizer. This isn't the end of the match, I expect Villa to put more effort into the game because City gets more dangerous ones they conceive, gap between their rating to win is wide.

Even though on paper Manchester City is very favored, Aston Villa did not just let Manchester City beat them easily. Obviously this is a very difficult match for Aston Villa, but they will fight tooth and nail to be able to get at least 1 point in this season. Maybe they will implement a defensive strategy, because it is very difficult for them to attack because that will create gaps that Manchester City can exploit.

Manchester City also realize that they cannot afford to lose points, because losing points will take them away from the title race. I'm sure they will attack completely in this match and maybe they won't let Aston Villa linger with the ball for long. I think they will dominate this match by continuing to attack. The reason is that they always play games like that in every match.

I hope Aston Villa put up meaningful resistance which will make the match very interesting, even though on paper they are not favored at all.

The progress of the match in the first half so far has been quite good, both of them drew 1-1. Manchester City basically dominated this match, but Aston Villa was really good at taking advantage of their opportunities when building counter attacks. This match was good, that's because we had both teams scoring 1 goal each within 20 minutes.

I don't expect this match to end in a draw for Manchester City, let alone lose. Pep Guardiola didn't play Haaland and De Bruyne in this match in the first half, but I think Manchester City's chances of winning 3 points are too high to be true. Pep Guardiola needs to rotate several players in the second half if his plans in the first half fail.

Aston Villa responded to Manchester City's goal which made the score 1-1 and the goal came from Jhon Duran in the 20th minute. And I saw Aston Villa do it in a relaxed manner when they scored a goal against Manchester City, and even though so far Manchester City appeared more aggressive and dominated the game, Aston Villa played very relaxed in counter-attacking.
And Manchester City must be able to win this match because if not they will have difficulty catching Arsenal who are currently at the top of the standings and they are 2-0 up against Luton who are in the bottom position. And I think it will be an easy game for Arsenal.

Arteta made many changes to the first team to have some key players rested enough after their tough game against Manchester City and against next week where they play in the champions League. Arsenal have ended the first half with two goals, a second own goal after Odegaard's first goal. Arsenal can really score more goals if players like Nelson who has started not always trying to pass the ball when he should b trying to run down the defenders like Martinelli and Saka would usually do.
Arsenal have to score more in the second half to maintain their good goal advantage over the other teams at the top of the table.

Basically Arteta resting some players after the tough game with Manchester city last Sunday was necessary because they have more important matches ahead so reserving those players will help them not to have fatigue and would relax a lot to be able to face stronger matches. Pressure causes own goal so it was as a result of pressure that Luton conceded an own goal and that makes it more relief for Arsenal in the second half. Foden took a superb free kick which broke through the wall of Aston Villa to the back of their post on the 45+1mins to put Arsenal on the lead. The first half is over, and it might be difficult for Aston Villa to equalize the goal this time. Seems like Arsenal is an eye opener, and they have taught clubs on how to play City in order to draw the match, instead of City gaining all three points. Defensive game to is key to Man City weakness.

Aston Villa won't be an easy ride for the citizens as they are also chasing a spot in the top four, with less than 10 games to the end of the season I believe the teams now are looking for a possibility of finishing strongly at the end of the season, the ones already occupying European spots have to tighten their grip on it as other teams behind will be mounting pressure on them for the remainder of the season, maybe a place in the champions league won't be realistic for Aston Villa but I see them in the Europa or at least the conference league, we saw how Aston Villa won the reverse of this fixture so let's watch and maybe expect another upset at the Etihad, city on the other hand won't take it likely, as loosing points today Will deal a major blow to their title hopes,  at the end it falls to the best team on the night to take home all three points or share the points between themselves.

Chelsea president is saying he has to stay on course, but he did made some big moves with a rush the moment he got in, and that's a wrong move. If I had enough money to buy a team like Chelsea, I wouldn't really do anything like this, I would simply let the team run it's course first, like see what they need, instead of rushing to get big name players and pay a lot of money.

I get it, they could pay 80 million on a player, sign 8 year contract, and only have 10 million per year on their paper, so next season when they sell him for 50, they look in profit and could spend even more. That's a "strategy", but a wrong one. I think they should just let the team be right now, and look what parts of it looking like it's not doing well.

Todd Boehly is rich but he doesn't see beyond his space but in glad the nemesis is still dealing with them. Why sack Tuchel all of a sudden, since that man left the club, he might have not win any trophy yet but I'm very confident that if he is still the coach of Chelsea, they would have been in a better place than where the are right now, so annoying that hoh will think Chelsea is glued to number 10, 11 and 12 place. No improvement, nothing to show for the club, just apologies coming from the coach weekly for their steady failures.

There are some players that are still good in the club but you know that no matter how good you are as a player, you need other players to do their own part of the performance else you will just be like one unserious player that has nothing to contribute to your team. They also need to sack Pochettino as soon as possible, enough of the fun he has had in the club, he should go to the next club but I doubt if he would get a job very soon.

I love the energy Arsenal displayed in the first half and I love how they were able to penetrate the defense of lutton which initially looked tough , after the first goal in the first half, Arsenal seem to retreat a little and lutton temporarily exhibited dominance but the the gunners were back and restored balance in the game again, it's actually been a good performance from the gunners and of course they are playing from home no less is expected of them.

I had loved to see more goals front he gunners in the second half but then it appears that Luton looks like they have tighten up their defense again but then we can be sure the gunners is getting three points by the end of the game. Arteta literally exhibit a different kind of tactical smartness which I must commend, considering the champions league games are just by the Conner his picks for this fixture against Luton has given room for resting of some key players while he's still been able to achieve a victory in the premier league and hope for same at the champions league too.

Luton is actually trying their best and one thing I noticed about them is their ability to making sure they get a goal in almost every match they play, I'm hoping to get same from them in this, Arsenal winning this game is further strengthen their position at the second spot which could mean trouble for Liverpool and more trouble for Manchester city as both teams are not far away from Arsenal a d the gunners keeps exhibiting more strength .

Not sure if am to say that am disappointed with Arsenal's goal scorecard today, because there is noway bookies can price them at under 1.2 odds and all the manage to get is a goal of their own and an own goal..it's criminal   but what the heck a win is a win, 3points in the bag.

Elsewhere Brentford put up a brave and impressive fight against Manchester United and today I thought they would get a win over Brighton but when no one wants to lose it's always going to end in a stalemate and today was a boredraw unfortunately!

Everyone knows Luton Town is an easy match for Arsenal because of Luton Town's poor performance this season. With this 2-0 win against Luton Town, Arsenal is leading the Premier League table, and they will wait for Liverpool's result tomorrow to know if they will stay in first place in the Premier League table.

Manchester City seems weak in defense because several of its defenders are injured, but so far all the players are working quite well and are able to maintain their defense so as not to concede more than 1 goal. The temporary score is still 3-1 in favor of Manchester City, but looking at the progress of the match, I think there are still several goals that Manchester City can score because Aston Villa's defense is not calm.

Foden played well in this match and he scored 2 goals. But what is unfortunate is that Manchester City wasted many goal opportunities in this match because of poor finishing. However, after winning 3-1, I think Manchester City is safe to secure 3 points at home.

The fact that Arsenal is winning and that Luton is obviously a plus for Arsenal—they don't even have anything to say—will make their supporters delighted. Although their effort is admirable, you must remember that Manchester City is not Arsenal's friend. As of right now, I am aware that when Aston Villa was drawing us before the first half, they believed Aston Villa would win, and when the second half started, they scored more goals than Arsenal. I have extra love for foden that guy is good and very reliable. When you losing hope foden is always there. Just imagine we having seven shots on target like this shows that more pressure is coming on the way. Now that we have scored two goals my mind is at rest.

Exactly, Arsenal really relied more on their defense in this match. Their target means actually preventing Man City from scoring goals. And they used a quick counter attack system to attack, so they only had a few chances to advance into the Man City area and couldn't win more balls. But, even though they are quite defensive, Arsenal's shots on target are actually more compared to Man City. This means that Arsenal's game is actually working quite well, but it cannot be denied that Man City's defense is also strong, their goalkeeper is also strong. And Draw could be Arsenal's worst target for this match.

Guardiola was so pissed about gunners defence line at a point he wanted to break it aggressively. Arteta played the game quite well since he counted a lot on his defence to not receive any goal while trying his luck in counterattacks.
That result was the least damaging one for both teams but definitely it helped Klopp a lot since Liverpool and after winning yesterday's game against Brighton and Albion Hove has become the first with 2 goals above of Arsenal and 3 points away from Manchester City

Of course, every team actually hopes to win so they can get the full 3 points. because that point is very important, especially with the very risky condition of the point distance. Arsenal has built a more even squad depth in every sector this season, aiming to win the Premier League trophy this season. Last season, Arteta squad failed to maintain its consistency towards the end of the season, the pressure they received was not balanced with the strength they had, which made them fail to compete with Manchester City. At the moment, Arsenal is in the same position as last season, where in my opinion the end of season competition is even tighter because it involves two clubs at once, namely Liverpool and Manchester City.

Even though it is quite difficult to approach Manchester City level, it is not impossible, Arteta can do it if he stays longer with Arsenal. The season is not completely over, and there are still a number of tough matches waiting for Arsenal ahead. Consistency is the main requirement for Arsenal to win trophies, and to avoid defeats that could make them suffer the same fate as last season.
