The title race is certainly the most exciting of the last decade in the Premier League even if tonight's match was very, very boring.

This result from Arteta and Arsenal is quite impressive. Manchester City had a huuuuge amount of possession against Arsenal tonight but possession does not win you matches but it is rather the goals which wins you the match. I must say, Arsenal’s defense did an excellent job tonight.

Manchester City had 12 shots with only 1 shot being on target. That just shows how much pressure Arsenal defenders put on Manchester City’s attack. They could not even shoot properly. Arsenal had more On target shots despite having less possession. I am starting to think that Arsenal might actually beat Bayern Munich in the upcoming Uefa Champions League Quarter Final playoff. This year’s Quarter Finals are really good matchups.

With this draw, Liverpool went ahead in the title race. Things would have been really good for the team which would have managed to win the match today.

The odds changed a lot after the results of Liverpool, ManCity and Arsenal. Previously ManCity was on top before with 2.2 if I remember it correctly and now they are on 2nd position with odds 3, Liverpool take the favorite position with odds 2.25 while Arsenal on the 3rd with odds 3.75.

Looking at the fixtures of these 3 top teams in EPL, ManCity seems to be the one with easiest remaining matches while the other two seems to be having harder remaining matches. Who will lift the trophy is still unpredictable because these 3 teams has equal chance imho.

Although now Liverpool has managed to climb to 1st place and has a 2 point difference from Arsenal and a 3 point difference from Man City. But still this is not a big difference in points. If Liverpool loses once, Arsenal will take over number 1 again. There are still a few games left this season. And actually Liverpool also has the opportunity to continue to widen the points difference. So the draw achieved by Arsenal and Man City was actually a big loss for Man City and Arsenal itself. Hahahaha bro, you are part of those neutral fan that was expecting a goal feast, but you were totally disappointed by the too much cautiousness of both teams which to me is really understandable considering what was at stake and how they both can't afford to lose the game, which limited the attacking potential of this particular game, but the sad reality was that they both played into the hands of Liverpool, which to me were the biggest winner yesterday, and it's now obvious that the title now is theirs to lose, considering the fact that they even have a more favourable fixtures compared to the likes of Manchester city and Arsenal.

Another games we should be looking out for which will eventually kills the hopes of both arsenal and Manchester city if they don't come out victorious, is the Manchester city vs Tottenham and arsenal vs Chelsea, these matches is going to determine whether both teams are still going to stay in contention for the title or not.

I wouldn't want to agree to the fact that the match was over hyped because the two teams involved were two big teams and everyone was literally on their toes with their expectations because it was actually normal to have such amidst this kind of game as Manchester city had faced Arsenal before and we all saw the results earlier this season so it was very normal to still have expectations towards that again.

The fact that Arsenal was said to be in a very solid form and Manchester city too wasn't in a bad one either was enough reason why we all taught of expecting something really different, there were so many circumstances around the game that did gave enough reason for one to really anticipate the outcome of the game and probably give it the kind of hype it got, since Manchester city was playing from home we were thinking we should be expecting a revenge from them at Arsenal having suffered a loss with them in their first meeting this season.

I cannot agree with you. Arsenal's gameplay I don't think they played to win this match. From their overall gameplay, it seemed that Arsenal's players were aiming to draw the match.

There is no doubt that Manchester City dominated the match. Manchester City's players had 73% of the ball possession in this match, while Arsenal's players had only 27%. Moreover, although the City players made a total of 12 shots, the Arsenal players made only 6 shots. Arsenal players do not try to attack much. I disagree with you, Jesus played Very well. Don't forget that they where playing a team that have very dominating style of play, arsenal tried to defend themselves making players like Gabriel jesus to play with a defensive mindset, almost the same thing happened to Haaland in Manchester city side, the defensive midfielders and defenders made sure he had less impact on the game. There where clear chances other arsenal players would have scored too but they missed, would you also blame Gabriel jesus for that too. So for me I feel the sharing of points for both teams was okay, because they both defended their territory even though it meant arsenal will take the second position on the league table.

Jesus' performance in this match was quite bad, he did not show his usual performance and this was quite detrimental for the team.
But Arsenal had no other choice either.

Overall the performance of the two teams was quite balanced, Arsenal with their dangerous but unlucky attacks and Manchester City too so the result of this draw was quite fair for both teams.

Liverpool is the current leader of the standings because of the draw in the Man City vs Arsenal match, but that doesn't mean Liverpool will easily maintain it until the end of this season, there are still 10 matches left and anything is still possible.

Yeah Arsenal played well in the first half and Jesus missed the 2 shots, the situation will be different if Arsenal can score the first goal. At first I predicted both teams would score a lot of goals at least 3 goals but unfortunately there are no goals even though we know that Arsenal are very active in scoring goals lately. By the way we can't be sure who will win the title even though Liverpool are at the top of the standings, they still have a few tough games ahead. We can determine the winner at the end of the season after seeing the results of the match including Liverpool vs Arsenal and several other big matches. There is nothing we can rely on if each team is only 2-3 points adrift.

It's true that we can't be sure who will emerge as champions this season, because they still have several matches that we don't know how they will end. But now Liverpool has the upper hand after a draw was received by Manchester City and Arsenal in the match they played, it put them back in the lead by 2 points and it also changed their chances of becoming champions this season.
Anything can still happen, and we can't be sure who will really become champion. What is clear is that I am very happy when I see very tight competition like this and I hope this happens until the last match in the Premier League this season.

Indeed Odegaard was actually one of the reason why Arsenal performance was that good because his efforts was impressive and he has shown a good quality as a leader and also Gabriel performance was also good but his finishing pattern is not nice because he had an opportunity but couldn't convert it, Bukayo Saka in other hand also played very well but the problem he had was that the Manchester City players did not give him an opportunity to perform. Liverpool indeed benefited the most from the draw obtained in this match. But in that match they fought well and were able to thwart every attack made by Manchester City.
