While Aston Villa focused on dominating the match,  Crystal was creating chances for themselve, they defended and attacked very well, they didn't allow Aston Villa to create much chances, I think Crystal's attackers were better than their opponents Sarr was very impressive today, he scored twice and had the opportunity to make it three but was substituted when the match was almost over. I wonder why Unai Emery didn't trust Marcus Rashford and Asensio enough to start them in the march those were his best players against Chelsea, they earned themselves the starting lineup when thy played Chelsea, that's what the coach should've noted but he decided to bench his best players. Anyways Crystal Palace did great today and Sarr deserves the Man of the match.

Crystal Palace has shown Aston Villa some level of Superiority after meeting trice this season and Crystal Palace won them in the league cup, drew in their first meeting in the premier league and was still able to win in this second leg of their premier league meeting. Crystal Palace strikers understands their duty and they delivered very well by flogging Aston Villa by a score of 4:1, so surprising how Aston Villa got a good result against Chelsea last week only to lose to Crystal Palace today. Starting Rashford and Asensio couldn't have changed anything so in the end it is what it is. I love the last goal scored by Eddie Nketiah, he is really a good product from Arsenal to Crystal Palace. Surely Ismaila Sarr gave his best for the success of Crystal Palace tonight and i like his energy.

Somebody said they Chelsea was blessed in the early weeks of the season but he denied it and says they are not in competition and since they are not in competition, the loss the track, gave the space for another team and are now struggling to maintain top of the table, the more they play matches, the more they draw down from the table and it's funny how Cole Palmer was making influences some months ago, he is now forgotten like he didn't do all such.

Manchester City is having more looses than Chelsea but Manchester City is at the top4 while achekse is at 7th place, this is because they were able to maintain their draw matches. If Chelsea can just win 3 matches in a row, it will do alot of for them to take them to top 4 so as to come back for Champions League next season. Staying in Premier League and not in any major Europa League is not good for the club, even if they don't carry first, been at the top is better.

Well as it stands, Chelsea 3 Vs Southampton 0. Checking from Liverpool table now, Chelsea is in the 4th position with 2 points ahead of Manchester City  and Newcastle who's right behind them but with a game played more than City and Newcastle. If Manchester wins  against Tottenham tomorrow then they will go above Chelsea again, as for Newcastle, I really doubt if they will win against the league leaders tomorrow, but hey, this is football were anything is possible.

It becomes a comfortable victory for Maresca and his club, first half already completed full points on three goals. Southampton can not perform any magic to get back the scores, matter of fact Chelsea are the one dominating the game, if it wants to get any better than this Chelsea should be the one making the scores go higher.

Despite the satisfying win from Chelsea, it doesn't call to praise them, lot's of work needs to be done, the top four they see themselves is very temporal since lot's of club are yet to complete week 27 games, so they definitely will be dropping from that position but may stay higher than they were, above seventh position by the end of week 27.

 I'm really fed up with Aston Villa and their inconsistency. Just last week, they came from under to beat Chelsea 2-1 with Ascensio scoring a brace but could not respond duly when they played Crystal palace today. Is it that their away form is very weak that they had to let themselves go this bad? Four goals from a club like Crystal palace is something very surprising if I have to admit.
While Aston Villa lost their chance to win and climb up to 5th spot, Crystal palace took it all and moved into the 12th place from the 14th spot they were in and now they are just a spot and point behind Brentford.
 Maybe the only thing that would give Unai Emery's side some happiness is that they are still in the champions league competition but at this rate who knows if they will still there for long?

The results for today we're not much surprising. Brighton winning over Bournemouth. Brighton had an expectacular start to league but regular title competitors have now taken the list except for Nottm forest.
Crystal Palace winning over Aston Villa. Aston villa had much bigger possession but it was Crystal Palace who attacked and scored the most. Wolves won against Fulham, Chelsea would win over Southampton.
The coincidence today is 100% of home team won today, no draws at all.

Brighton started well indeed but couldn't keep up with the rhythm. Crystal Palace shocked Aston Villa by four goals. Honestly, I didn't see that coming, especially that I still see Aston Villa as a good team and could comeback at any moment.
Wolverhampton Wonders are in an awkward situation and they have to keep a distance from the relegation zone.
Chelsea in the other hand is about to humiliate Southampton by four goals and the game didn't end yet. Getting out of the relegation zone is something that looks impossible right now for them

Good to see Chelsea winning, but not good to see that Cole Palmer is struggling to get a goal in a fixture where he was picked as one of the players to score. The coach has taken out other attackers but left him to see him find his playing shoes again but it is not working for him with the many missed chances. It will disappointing for him too.
Crystal Palace are looking good, looking like they could sustain winning more than loosing until the end of the season. It is a win for them that they have strikers like Mateta scoring in almost every game.

After recent problems with poor run of form Chelsea manages to win today. I think they played well winning by 4:0 but I am not that surprised because Southampton has been an easy side to face this season. I believe Chelsea should not get complacent because alot still needs to be done.
In other games I thought wolves deserved to go home with a point today against Fulham because they played well and created some chances themselves but only took one.

Looking at the teams from 10th place to top 4, there point difference is not much that if any of them win a match, they can move and leave 4 teams behind, it's only Liverpool that are not slowing down from this tournament, the rest are just trying to survive and be among the top team on the top 4, don't be surprised if you see Chelsea drop again from the table.

As it stands now. If Newcastle and Manchester City win their next match, Chelsea will be force to come back to their place again dropping from the top of the table and if they make mistake of losing another match and probably all teams from Aston Villa wins their next match, they will fave another probem of trying to survive the table for another months, this is why I said earlier there is no interest from these teams or perhaps they are all lacking players.

Southempton  is indeed one of the weakest team in the premier league this season so I don't even consider them being a threat to chelsea, I think leicester is way more better than them. Moreover is obvious that southempton will end up being in the relegation zone this season because their performance just prove it all. Actually I wasn't surprise to see the scores, because I know that even if chelsea is in thier worst era definitely they will still gain victory over southempton.

Crystal Palace is gradually coming up slowly and steadily, they have won two straight games that I thought they wouldn't ordinarily.
Fulham is also doing something wonderful slowly, Teams like Bournemouth is gradually going back to where they belong to, soon it will be Nottingham Forest. The top 4 will gradually come to teams that were once there before.

Counting the losses of the Citizens this season, and I've lost count based on the inconsistent performance of the club. Manchester City are going through a difficult time this season, the fans bear with the club and the manager, Pep Guardiola, who's trying everything to resolve the challenges facing the club. These hurdling storms will be over sooner than anyone will expects, the team's management believes in Pep Guardiola and also the players.

Manchester City frontline, Erling Haaland is no key player or resulting why Manchester City recorded defeats against Liverpool. They did also against Real Madrid without the presence of the Norway international. Even when he's on the pitch, what difference does it makes? Victory days are over for Manchester City, they just have to rebuild the team back to peak but it will take much time than intended.

Currently Manchester City has lost a total of 13 games in all competitions this season with the last one being the 2 - 0 loss to Liverpool over the weekend. This is Pep's  worst season so far since his managerial career, this hasn't ever happened to him and I think most people are in shock with this new development and even he Pep himself can't believe what's currently happening to him and his formidable team.

This is what happens when a team is in a serious crisis, Manchester City needs a total rebuilding right not cause the team is facing a lot of problems of which we don't know what's going to happen to the team by the end of the month. Pep Guardiola has been one of the finest managers in the League but things are beginning to look soar to him as his team is looking forward to finishing among the top4 teams this season. Manchester City is experiencing a hard time now and Pep Guardiola not being able to fix the problem of the team is something no one ever expected seeing how he has dominated the league with his team and all of a sudden they are struggling this season, I think Pep Guardiola will need to try other means if it requires investing more money on new players I think they will bounce back if they are a blw to figure out the problem of the team.

No one is happy about Cole Palmer’s performance currently even when the team is winning, Palmer is really struggling at the moment and I noticed it from last game which has caused him to lose his confidence in the game. I lot of people are complaining that the girlfriend he now have has been the cause of his drop in performance but then I wouldn’t blame him for having a girlfriend because he is not a kid anymore, he is old enough to be in a relationship. The Palmer I know will surely bounce back and he will surely get better in no time, he just lost his confidence and will soon get it back.

No matter how bad Palmer is now he should still be appreciated because he has done enough for the team and has been consistent with his performances so he should not be blamed too much.

It was an easy win for Chelsea although I am not convinced about the performance at all, I don’t see a lot of threat in the attacking. They are now 4th on the standings so they just need to see Newcastle and Manchester City lose their next matches. Chelsea still have their next game against bottom table Leicester City and they should be able to pick all three points in the game.

Chelsea as expected an easy win over Southpamton that is already relegated. Aston Villa lost pretty heavily and i was thinking they would win but he left both Rashford and Asensio on the bench and i didnt understand that. I expected a lot more from Bournemouth they were better but ended up losing the match

I don't know if this man do see the deteriorating form of his players or his formation or strategy failing, he is currently acting like Graham Potter in every bad game his post match comments are annoying, still speaking positive when they actually performed poorly. Seriously, if he doesn't have any actual fact to speak he should just be quiet. Cole Palmer form has decline especially since the absence of Nicolas Jackson who we can now see that he is really key player for our attack, even in the aspect of chance creation. While we can say that he do missed too many chances Jackson absence has been really felt because Nkunku has not been able to do anything significant including the rest of the attack and Palmer seems so average without Jackson.

Chelsea got the win tonight with a four goals to zero against Southampton but unfortunately Cole Palmer was not on the scoresheet and neither did he give an assist, now we can all agree Cole Palmer is having a bad spare currently. Anyway, I'm curious on how he deal with this and bounce back because this is part of the game, what matters is the climb back and doing even much better.

Enzo Maresca was trying to act cool at first but now the pressure are slowing telling on him and Blueco from the fans, of whom I'm in support and somehow I hope he get sacked because I haven't be an actual fan of him, maybe if he did well this would be better but now I still want him out, I don't think his strategy or ideologies especially in player preference will take the club far, maybe except he change.

This ought to be not so difficult tasks for my team but unfortunately in our current state, I don't know how we can get a three wins in a role or avoid losing till the end of season. Our attacking prowess is reduced significantly I can't believe with just one match and after all we got this number of goals past mainly because we are playing against Southampton. This does not me that I disregard the fact that top 4 is still possible for us.

It was a good game from Chelsea, didn't see them winning Southampton 4-0, I knew they where going to win, but wasn't expecting those amount of goals, Southampton is one of the weakest team currently in the EPL as they are at bottom of pyramid on the league table, however Chelsea should enjoy the temporal 4th position they are occupying now, but it still won't be for too long obviously. I would like to see Chelsea pull out Such performance against a more solid team, their next encounter Will be against Leicester city, hopefully we will see similar outburst, as we are keenly in waiting for them to return to winning ways.

Chelsea won but still they should not let this win get into their head because Southampton is not a team you win and go home and celebrate like you won a title, we know this game was an easy one for the Blues and they should have gotten more goals in this game but 4nil is still a comfortable win but the problem is how poor they play from the back knowing very well that they are among the teams in the EPL that are not good with building from the back, this act always makes the goalkeeper play under pressure because he doesn't know how to freely pass to his teammates. Same here I'm also waiting for Cole Palmer to score a goal because I participated in one of the events   unfortunately he didn't score even though Chelsea won by 4 goals. I'm actually a bit sick of predicting and betting on Chelsea because it is difficult to predict we can check it based on their last match from their last 5 matches they lost 3 times and you know at that time we lost the bet since then I have ignored betting on Chelsea especially on 1x2 bets. If I had to bet I would choose another option like Both teams to score, because I know Chelsea's defense is weak so there is a chance of conceding a goal.

A club that has won just two games after five matches is not doing well. But the win against Southampton today should be a motivation to the players to keep winning games. The Blues have now moved to fourth position temporarily. I said it is not permanent because if Newcastle and Manchester City win their matches Chelsea will move back to sixth position. Enzo Maresca should try as much possible to settle the unstable nature of the club if they want to play in the Champions League next season.

How was lily surprised that Crystal Palace was able to beat Aston Villa with a lot of goal margin. Honestly I didn't expect that to happen and if Crystal Palace was to win Aston Villa he should be with a goal difference. With the loss of Aston Villa today and being able to win only one match out of their past 5 English Premier League matches have casted on doubt in me that as on Villa could succeed in the Champions League. I had held Aston Villa in a very high levels since they started to strive in the English Premier League and even had to occupy the prestigious champions league table for some weeks. And in the end they managed to qualify for the Champions League into the round 16 without play off. I wish their standards shouldn't reduce.

That is why i love the Premier League so much. The table will take its balance normally before the end of the season. Teams that deserve the Top 4 will be there and this year i am expecting to see, Arsenal Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City in the top 4. Although i cant completely write off Nottingham honest. Lets be honest with each other Nottingham Forest does not look like a team that we should be expecting to lose often and drop points. They have plaid a lot of competitive games so they just have few games that i believe they will be able to get quality points from those games. Manchester City and Chelsea stil have strong games to play and they may likely drop points. Dont be surprised to see Nottingham Forest by the end of the season.

For crystal palace to start winning games and to stay that way they need to continue with this form but anything outside that will make them lose games they are suppose to win without stress or much struggle. They didn't start well this season and I thought they would have been among the other teams in the bottom 3 or maybe they would have been struggling to leave the relegation zone. I think the manager is doing well and before the end of the season they might finish 7th on the log.
