For crystal palace to start winning games and to stay that way they need to continue with this form but anything outside that will make them lose games they are suppose to win without stress or much struggle. They didn't start well this season and I thought they would have been among the other teams in the bottom 3 or maybe they would have been struggling to leave the relegation zone. I think the manager is doing well and before the end of the season they might finish 7th on the log.

To be honest, it was one of the strangest matches I've watched in recent times and Aston Villa's game was impossible to guess that they were playing in the Champions League.

You know I wasn't surprise to see the scores, because I know that thier performance when dealing with thier fellow smaller teams is always different than when they are playing with bigger teams like liverpool and Chelsea. they always bring their best performance when dealing with this clubs, Moreover crystal p has the opportunity to win which is why they were given a lesser odd, but I never thought nor imagine that Aston villa will be so lazy to the extent of watching crystal p making it 4 for them.

As per my prediction that Chelsea will be able to beat Southampton with a landslide score, the defeat in the last two matches has indeed made it very difficult for Chelsea to get points this week, at least Chelsea can maintain its position above the Champions League zone, at least that has been successfully done by Chelsea and focus on the next match.

Manchester City is not really missing much of the squad, it's almost the same players that played last season and won the league. Although the Arab owner will pump on more £ in the summer,  in my opinion, I think Pep needs to go on sabbatical, take enough rest so he can actually be over his divorce case, City poor run of form almost started after his divorce saga. The man might actually be going through some emotional trauma, is ay this because this is not the Pep we knew.

Guardiola had problems in his personal life, not the players of the team, I don't think he changed the training process after the divorce, or anything else, it's just that the team had a crisis. Maybe everything happened the other way around and because of the problems in the team, Guardiola was in a bad mood and this affected him in the family. We won't know, but it's not so important now, we need to move on and Guardiola is going to bring new young players to the team.

The problem has always been "we have won a lot, we do not need to work too hard anymore" by the players and nothing more. Pep didn't change anything and maybe you can blame him for that, he has purchased some players, Marmoush has been playing his heart out for example, and Poku was insane last game, these are all great. But at the same time, we have way too many players who won so much with City that they do not care about winning or losing anymore, the desire to win is gone.

This has always been the problem and will stay the problem, personal life has nothing to do with it. In this case, we could always see how things could change, and for that reason I honestly believe that City should be looking for a new team, and get rid of 80% of the current squad.

I was even surprised by what happened on the field in that match. Because Aston Villa they only play the ball more in the middle of the field and always have difficulty making more attacks into the Crystal Palace defense area. Crystal Palace really put together a solid defense and the way they attack is also quite unpredictable. Aston Villa probably did not expect that in this match they would face such strong resistance from Crystal Palace. So they are mentally not ready for this. In the second half things even got much worse for Aston Villa. I, who favored Aston Villa in this match, also felt confused about what was happening. Crystal Palace did improve last week. but I didn't expect them to beat Aston Villa with such a big score. And Aston Villa really wasted their opportunity to improve their ranking in the standings.

Absolutely disgusting performance from Villa yesterday. Crystal Palace came fully prepared and played excellently but Aston Villa did the direct opposite. I would say Emery lost the game himself yesterday due to many changes in the squad leaving out Asensio and Rashford from the beginning. Rashford and Asensio won the last match for them but both of them got dropped yesterday.

For sure, Emery messed around with that team far too much and this further proves how he cannot cope with a team with more and more high class players as it was the when he was at Arsenal and PSG. It is now four points from their last nine away games and comfortably sitting on the 10th position which officially disqualified them from playing champions league next season. Injury issue is one thing but having great players and drop them is kinda stupid decision.

Arteta doesn’t learn from his mistakes, he keeps on making similar mistakes every season. I was expecting Arsenal to take advantage of Manchester City's poor performance, since Manchester City is always their greatest challenge every season, and Manchester City is performing poorly, and Arsenal's performance dropped also. Seriously, Arteta has stayed long enough at Arsenal, I think it’s just high time Arsenal get another coach. Arteta is always giving Arsenal fans hope every season, but he ends up disappointing them. If Arsenal won their last match, they will still be having hope to win the premier league title this season, but they lost to west ham which people never expected, everyone have given up on Arsenal already.

Arteta has consistently struggled to lead Arsenal to a Premier League title, often falling short in key moments. His failure to add quality and depth to the squad and over reliance on certain players have been a major issue. This season is no different as Arsenal have settled for top four finish. Even if they had beaten West Ham, their lack of consistency will surely hinder their title chances. Until Arteta improves his team depth, Arsenal will continue to have the same bear successes in the Premier League trophy.

Although Crystal Palace has successfully slaughtered Aston Villa with a big score when Aston Villa were guests at Crystal Palace's home yesterday, I am not so sure that Crystal Palace can be ranked 7th in the final standings this season. Because all the teams that are already in the top ten of the Premier League standings are also trying to take a better position while maintaining their current position. So that will make some teams who are still in a much worse position will find it difficult to get a better position unless they all can win by a lot of goals in any condition in the rest of the season.

The way I see it, Crystal palace don't really play to win any title, rather they play just to retain their place in the Premier league.
They played exceedingly well yesterday against Aston Villa but I feel they could improve and other teams can take them seriously if they don't stop on this like you mentioned.

It will be very challenging for Crystal Palace to do that this season, even though they might perform well before the end of the season, they will not be able to finish in seventh place with the remaining games. As every season gets to an end, Crystal Palace always puts on an incredible show and begins to perform well. However, they are unable to perform well from the start of the season until the end of it, where they will perform well. For instance; they defeated Liverpool in the second leg last season to decrease their chances of competing for the league title the previous season.

However, Crystal Palace is seven points to reach seventh place in the table. this doesn't look like you are talking about Manchester city because even though they are experiencing the worse of seasons so far, they have never been nonchalant in their play but always gives it all even in all the games they have ever lost in. against arsenal, they played really well and could have won that game if they where playing against a team as Chelsea or other teams that are not well organized defensively. all the goals they conceded where classic goals that even teams that are having there best of season can still concede. you think pep and the city players don't want to win the league again? if they have the means, they will be ready to win this current league but we all know how football is, when it is not your time it will appear as though everything you are doing is just against you.

already with speculation of most of Manchester city players going out of the team in the next transfer window, we might be drawing close to curtain for this current squad of players and hope that the new squad can stand fit enough to withstand the force in the premier league. some old players will still remain and if hopefully the cases of injury reduces to the lowest level, the team can bounce back to what it use to be.

The Chelsea team finally saw the win because they were defeated by Aston villa in the previous match. Chelsea had the opportunity to play well enough in today's match which allowed them to snatch a victory against Southampton by a large margin. I think Aston villa performance in another Premier League match has been very bad, the team draws against Liverpool and was able to win against Chelsea team. After three lost Chelsea has beginning to correct it and they started from Southampton and this Southampton came as a platter of gold for them and the journey became 4:0. Bournemouth lost was as blaming as Aston Villa's because they ought to have won Brighton instead of the turnaround.

And why is everyone just leaving Nottingham Forest out of the picture in the contest for the top four and only putting Chelsea and Manchester city to the contest. I think Nottingham Forest has so much to do if they are to secure their 3rd place they currently sit,  they are just with 1 point above Chelsea and 3 points on City which makes their position in the top four not certain because with about 11 matches still to be played before the end of the season a lot can happen.

I was very impressed, I love the scoreline and I hope they keep up with consistency, it's good to be back in the top 4, hopefully Manchester City draws Tottenham today so we'll maintain our position, I love how Chelsea took advantage of Southampton's weakness, if only they played this good against Brighton anyways we'll meet them next season and have our revenge.

 I'm really impressed with Caicedo and Neto they had the most outstanding performance in that match, Caicedo ensured the midfield was solid and made marking more easier for Enzo, however the coach's choice of making Neto the top 9 instead of Nkunku payed off im glad our coach have finally seen that the position is too heavy on Nkunku and he performed better from the flanks, I also love that two defenders where able to contribute to the scoreline I hope they keep it up.

You made a valid point but i doubt that is the reason why they flopped yesterday. What we saw yesterday was a whole different game. I went back to check the line up and some positioning only to find out that they where trying to manage some players in respect to the Champions League game they have very soon. The coach was hoping since Crystal Palace is a team in the same level of with them they have to play in the same momentum. Aside from that, Crystal Palace attackers made it look easy to score against the Aston Villa defense. The kind of game i watches yesterday i am permitted to use Barca vs Real Madrid el clasico match to be a similarity.
