Man Utd SHOULD beat Southampton because they spend far more money on players & pay much higher wages. As we all know though, football doesn’t work like that. Saints are in good form & Man Utd are in trouble. It seems lots of Man Utd players don’t work hard enough & put in too little effort. I really wouldn’t be surprised if Southampton win this one.

Yes, given the squad they have and the money they have spent they should be at least in top 4 by now but they are still at 6 but giving a performance like a team in bottom 5. Saints have the capability, players like Ward Prowse, Romeu, Armstrong who are in form and in other hand United have no one in form.  I also don't think they are working hard enough. I might watch this one if Rangnick pairs up Cavani and Ronaldo in this one, they link up pretty well and maybe that comes out as a solution for United.

How can you bench the only proper number nine( Edison cavani)you have in favour of kids like Marcus Rashford and Sancho that don't even know there real position, Rangnick should pair Cavani and Christiano Ronaldo with four midfenders behind them to give the team stability in midfield and defence then in the second half if need be change Ronaldo with Sancho or change cavani with Rashford.

Manchester united have so many England average players that are over hyped. They always see themselves as superior to this other clubs whenever they play them. For instance people like Rashford and Sancho, especially Rashford does not play anything for Manchester United again. He does not mark and sometimes trek in the pitch but media will keep protecting him. But if pogba or martial just misbehave small they will make the whole headline.

Unted doesn't have a bad team at all. Individually they will even have one of the best teams, but in the beginning it was a mess. A good, experienced coach would make a big difference. Someone like Guardiola, but when I write that I also realize that this is the very last coach who wants to go to United. That would be war in Manchester.

Every team used to loose form at certain point in time,maybe due to fatigue or injury,same thing is happening to Manchester united.They are now tired because we've gotten to the middle of the season,it only take a coach who knows how to deal with this kind of situation to be able to make things work out well for Manchester United again.They have players that can turn things around at the club.

Southampton almost perfect performance when defeating Spurs because have many attempt and shot on goal than Spurs where have many great player from Kane until Son. I agree with you. For now Man United is no longer a scary team, although they have a lot of great players but their performance doesn't look good. Their Teamwork is less effective and they don't have a good defense, luckily they still have a goalkeeper like De Gea, without him it would be very easy for other teams to score goals. With great players, Man United should be much better than it is now but in fact, their performance is even worse. So it's clear that Man United has a pretty serious problem, it either there is no good synergy between the coach and the players, or indeed the strategy the coach has is not reliable.

I agree with you. For now Man United is no longer a scary team, although they have a lot of great players but their performance doesn't look good. They are scary team for their fans because their fans can not predict what Manchester United players will perform in next matches. They are fluctuating so much between good and bad matches and are playing like Arsenal 2 or 3 seasons ago.

There is no confidence in Old Trafford and their player mentality to contribute for the club is broken. Without good attitude, good psychology, it is super hard for them to come back. They have systematic problem so any star player can only help them with short term effect. From Bruno Fernandez, Maguire, Cavani, Greenwood, Ronaldo, Pobga, De Gea. They all can not carry a whole team because it is hard to see a whole team can play well together.

That's Manchester united biggest problem, although they shouldn't be having such issue due to the squad they have. I think the problem of united is the board and not even the coach. Maybe he's still be influence on who to play or not to play and in which position they should play. Because it's funny no Coach has been able to succeed recently with their squad when we have every talented players in there.

Manchester united should be able the beat any small club they meet without much difficulties then if they are having issues with top clubs then it's understandable considering the manager this clubs like Manchester CIty, Chelsea and Liverpool has. With the big boys they should be able to steal a win or draw but that's not the case. If united continue playing this bad, they might lose the top4 finish.

You're right Southampton have some good records some strong teams have a hard time beating them including Manchester last year only managed to draw
Even though Manchester must win because of the home team factor Southampton can definitely score , Southampton's only weakness is Mohammed Salisu this player is too aggressive and can get a red card so far he has collected 8 yellow cards even the most among EPL players

I totally agree with you, Southampton have been doing really well lately, even when they played Tottenham Hotspur they managed to dominate the game with 23 attempted shots and 10 shots on goal, even though they were playing away. If Manchester United cannot play well and take advantage of every opportunity, they will most likely lose to Southampton who will probably continue their positive trend in the EPL.

Southampton's performance is really good. Their performance against Tottenham was just awesome. They were able to attack a lot, not allowing Tottenham's players to attack too much. However, Southampton's defense is a bit weak.
Southampton have not won in their last 10 games against Manchester United. And Southampton have always had bad luck against United. However, out of these 10 matches, only 6 matches have been drawn. My guess is that today's match will also be a draw. Because Manchester United is not in good form.

Manchester United performance these days is not encouraging the fans to be more bold on Manchester United prediction because of their poor performance in their last 5 game. In their last match that ended up draw 1:1, really surprised people that watch the match because everybody concluded that Manchester United will win the game 3:1 to improve their point that was dropped in their last match. I think Manchester United will defeat Southampton 2:1 to encourage their fans for the poor performance they experienced from them.

Everton are in terrible shape at the moment as they just could not seems to earn any points in the English Premier League. Even though Everton will have the advantage of playing against Leeds United at their home stadium but I think Everton will suffer another defeat and disappoint their home fans once again today.

You are right, Manchester United is one of the big teams that has a composition of quality players. But I can't understand why they can be as bad as they are now. Several changes in the coaching staff this season have not brought good changes, they have not shown a performance that changes from game to game.
At the beginning of the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, there was hope that they would be able to compete in the Premier League, but that was only hope, because their team's game was in chaos.

Actually if we look at the squad there are still some players who are doubtful to play like McCarthy, Nathan Tella and Redmond for Southampton and on the MU side there is also Fred and Baily who are still doubtful to appear and maybe what is certain is Greenwood there.
But to talk about the stats of the last game I don't really agree that this is in their favour.
From their last 4 matches, Southampton lost 2 and drew 2 even last season they were crushed by a score of 9-0 so it is very clear this is not very profitable for them

The way Southampton played last game, I think it will be very difficult for United considering their recent performances. It will be real tough for them to hold Saints attack. Broja have been amazing for them ever since he came on loan and Ward-Prowse always is a danger man in mid who has deadly strike from long range. United are failing to score goals, their forwards somehow are missing their edge like they used to. At current stage, I think its tough one to call a winner here but I would take Saints here.

Even if the score is even, it is not expected for Man United in this match. All must really give a landslide victory, with the current performance and chaotic formation conditions that make it difficult for Man United to bully their opponents. Movements are often closed because they focus on Ronaldo. It is still da Rashford, Cavani, and Bruno who must really be relied on to expand the front in launching attacks.
