Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024

Liverpool is 1 game shorter than City so potentially both teams are only 3 points apart and we are going to have Liverpool vs City on 32nd round so that would be pretty much the game decider for the EPL winner. It totally boring when you have City on the top leaving all the other teams behind and now Liverpool standing on 2nd with a potential to win the league as well ( not to mention if Chelsea somehow slip past both of them )

For Chelsea IMO they may currently only be in 3rd Position and nothing more than that because even if the chance is still there but it will be very difficult so indeed the best thing is to maximize to be in 3rd position.
On the other hand, no other club will follow because currently Arsenal, Manchester United, West Ham and Tottenham are still struggling to win the top 4 position and it will be very difficult to have the momentum for a top 3 position.
Maybe for Chelsea I think they should focus more on UCL especially against Lille at this stage

In Premier League now top three positions for teams currently having spots it's very difficult for other to do something about this now fight is going on between other five teams for remaining spot of Champions League and Europa Cup spots this is going to be very interesting because recently Tottenham lost three matches in a row it has big impact on their chance for qualifying into top four and now competition is very fair between Arsenal and Manchester United for this remaining spot with West Ham is also very unpredictable and most chances they will drop out from top six spots with Tottenham and Wolves can catch them.

Chelsea is very good but their few bad results now also giving them setback for title race so better now they try to have some good chance in Champions League where first match is going against struggling Lille, but they are also good in Champions League even having very bad results in French League.

Such a great performance by Manchester United! I must admit that I was really astonished after seeing that Leeds equalized the score by scoring two goals in only two minutes. But Manchester United weren't intending to give up on the game that easy and they proved it by scoring two more goals and bringing the score to 4-2. And this huge win started a winning streak by two games for now. And it looks like it will be the time to have revenge on Watford next week in Old Trafford and grow their winning streak also.

I think next week they will pass Watford without any problems. I have to say frankly that I was expecting a drop at Manchester United when I saw Leeds United score two goals at once. However, they fought more than twilight. Leeds, who caught the draw, could not keep the score. If it had finished 2-2, it would have been an important point for them. Manchester continues unabated.

Man Utd - Leeds Utd 4:2

The 2nd half was really stunning and really interesting to watch . Man Utd were on fire scoring two goals in the 1st half leading the match. But yes the 2nd half just turned everyone towards Leeds. A stunning goal from Rodrigo Moreno. Did not expect this goal to be perfect into the post. Another goal in the next minute which made the scores draw with 2:2 but Ferd and Elanga were just on fire in the rain and scored 2 goals at 70th and 88 minute. Man Utd is back with best performances.

There are times when games are like that. It was definitely a great game to watch. This week caused a lot of great games from many leagues. The amount of 4.5+ goals in a week from 5 big leagues was insane and I can't believe that United was part of it. They were "untied" instead of "united" for a long time and glad to see them back. They are just getting better or maybe it was just one game and I do not know which one it is.

I know that this season is not the situation they should be happy about right now, they could have been much better if they were like this from the start. The manager change is the least of their worries because not like they suddenly got a great one neither.

Rodrigo's goal was very good, but we have to admit that it was scored by chance. Everyone thought he had shot to clear the cross. However, the rainy and windy weather turned it towards the goal. It was a beautiful goal. The Tottenham v City match was definitely the best match of the week but so was the Manchester United v Leeds United match. The week of great matches is over.

Rodrigo's goal was very good, but we have to admit that it was scored by chance. Everyone thought he had shot to clear the cross. However, the rainy and windy weather turned it towards the goal. It was a beautiful goal. The Tottenham v City match was definitely the best match of the week but so was the Manchester United v Leeds United match. The week of great matches is over.

The week was indeed a great one, I hope to see a great game as well during the Champions League.
Chelsea have won 5 games with a single draw avoiding lossing in the process.
Hopefully the defending Champions,gets a great game tommorow.

Yea I think he was fortunate to score that goal,I mean the Rodrigo own,the way Leeds came back and scored two quick goals I thought to myself that this game is a draw because Manchester United tempo was very low, but the late substitutes change the games the game. Tottenham game against Manchester City was very interesting to watch 5 goals thriller, full of skills and passion.well done to Kane and Son for bringing the title race back on.

For a fact, the team is highly unstable as it is, with its team mates in the persons of Harry Kane and H. Son not at their optimum but some how, Spurs managed it to not even share point but, claim all the 3 points for themselves. Perhaps, the end of the league is when it becomes really tough and Pep needs to up his game. You can see Newcastle United not taking any chances and are fighting seriously not to be back in the relegation zone by either winning or sharing point.

I still have my doubts that, Manchester City won't be the ones to win the EPL trophy because, they are more than capable, can do it and are in the position to do it. Though, if it were to be possible that any team could step up, Liverpool might just be that team. Having just 2 games away from equating points with Manchester City and the goal difference isn't significant, coupled with with fact that Liverpool is another scoring team.

Chelsea on the other hand, I think they are just okay at the 3rd place. They haven't been so good of recent bit somehow are just maintaining there stand at the league table and we can see Manchester United is now taking the game to them over that spot but, I doubt there consistency.

All series usually tend to end sometime, and this happened with Manchester City's winless streak, which began on October 30 last year after the defeat by Crystal Palace. Antonio Conte, on the contrary, interrupted his unsuccessful streak of three consecutive defeats, which has not happened to him since the fall of 2009, when he was still at the post of head coach of Atalanta. Newcastle seems to have worked quite successfully in the market during this transfer window and it is already beginning to bear fruit in the form of points scored.

Do you think Manchester United will draw again today vs Brighton?

Statistically, Brighton were better than Manchester United in the first half despite Ronaldo spearheading today. I don't see them having more shots on goal than Brighton, but it's still possible to expect them to score in the second half. But if Brighton manages to force Manchester United to a draw, then this is really a bad for Manchester United in my opinion. Their previous 2 matches ended in a draw, this should be a chance for them to get 3 points.

As we all know in football no team is a small team not even a team in the English Premier League.the first half of the game ended goal less draw but I think believe brighton were better than United in the first half.In the second half of the game united proved to the world that they are a team that can never give up and their efforts was crowned with a beautiful goal by Ronaldo in the 51st minute and another goal by Farnandes in the 90th minute of the game. Finally United have 3points to there name after beating Brighton 2:0.

You never can tell who will win EPL trophy their other good team who trying their best too to see that they win it. Manchester city is just a good team at the top, but you never can tell what will happen along the line if they can still keep to their good performance,  you football is unpredictable and things changes sometimes.

Arsenal played convincingly versus Brentford yesterday, they have almost 70% ball possession and 8 accurate shots on goal. If didn't care at the last minute, they won at least 2 different goals. Versus Wolves in the next weeks, I think they have to care in the backline and begin to collaborate with the center field so play more offensive. Head to head, almost arsenal win the game, and the odds for this week still arsenal 1.65 (60% win) and wolves have 5.50 odds (18% chance to win).

It would be very bad for Manchester City if they lose to Liverpool and Manchester United after Tottenham's defeat. They should not lose, especially in the Manchester United match. It's a big derby. Liverpool are their strongest rivals in the title race. A tough fixture is coming for Manchester City. Whoever gets through this fixture unscathed will be the big favorite for the championship.

Man City in 15 games in the Premier League without defeat, finally ending their record after being beaten by Tottenham. Not because Man City played
badly in that match, but Tottenham had a high fighting spirit, playing unyielding. Finally in the 95th minute Harry Kane scored the winning goal
for Tottenham, even though I thought when Riyad Mahrez scored a goal in the 92nd minute the match would end in a draw. It was beyond
my expectation that Tottenham could still score the winning goal, a very dramatic victory. Even though I'm not a Tottenham fan, I admit that
Tottenham deserved to win, a great strategy from Conte. Because not many teams in the Premier League can beat Man City at the Etihad Stadium.

Even without Tottenham's claim to the title, they brought this chance to Liverpool. Liverpool again entered the title race quite closely. Their match against Manchester City will determine their fate. If they win, then we can watch a championship race between Manchester City and Liverpool until the last week. Frankly, even this possibility is enough to excite me.
