Well the truth is, there is little to what changes Leeds can do to this game. Its a much needed match by Liverpool as, it would be there best chance to gain in on Manchester City while they wait and anticipate a next mistake or lose. The goal difference isn't much and its enough for them to easily do away with and take over the number one spot on the league table. I'm sure Pep is watching and is already fired up on how the league is going. It would be interesting to see some disappointment and I'm hoping Liverpool could make that happen.

The teams from 4th to 8th position have a chance of finishing top 4 if any of them can be consistent  from now till the end of the season. And all 5 teams are not really different from each other that is because they lack consistency. I was opting for Tottenham to be in top 4 position by now but they couldn’t take their chances. The same thing happened with Manchester United earlier. So the top 4 positions is still very much an open space and any of those teams can end up there.

I wouldn't say it is as wide as 4th to 8th. The difference between the 4th Manchester United and 8th Spurs is 7 points. Doesn't mean that it can't be closed, obviously it could be closed if you look at it mathematically but at the end of the day we are not really in mathematics when talking about football.

I believe that when you have 7 point difference at this stage of the season, then you will definitely stay above that level. Meaning United will not be 8th, that is for sure, and Spurs won't be 4th as well that is for sure. Could Spurs be 6th or 7th? Sure, that's likely, could United be 5th or 6th? Sure that is likely as well, if one plays great and the other plays horrible then they could be back to back like 5th to 6th instead of 4th to 8th but even that is quite unlikely to happen as well. United seems like they are doing fine enough to finish 4th this year.

I am pretty sure Liverpool fans and the neutrals will really like the fact that the title race is back on, only City fans would have enjoyed a manchester City stroll to the title, but now that things are competitive again, it brings more thrills and drama and makes things a little bit more interesting. Having said that, i think City are the team under pressure, Liverpool are just doing what they have to do, which is win and continue to chase, but City well aware that liverpool are hot on their heels and they must not slip up, adds a little weight on their shoulders. City also have a tough game against United coming up pretty soon, i actually trust Pep and his boys to hold top spot till the end of the season, but it is really going to be difficult to say the least, but we can only watch and enjoy.

^  That’s the thing with City, lots of chances but it tends to get stale at the attacking third because of the lack of directness and intensity.  I think having a pure striker could fix it.  They’ve been missing a critical piece in the puzzle...  A player like Aguero.  You’ll get what I’m saying during the quarter finals or the semi finals of the CL or maybe the finals if they get there.  Just watch.

So yeah, they could acquire either Kane or Haaland during the summer.

But if they really want to do that of course they also have to be prepared to cut their squad to make it more balanced, there are some players who are quite expensive there both in price and salary such as Diaz, Foden, Sterling, Grealish and De Bruyne.

As a Liverpool fan, I'm really hoping that we close the gap with City down to 3 points. Leeds have been mediocre this season compared to last season when they were all the raged. If we win tomorrow, Y'all should be ready to experience highly intensive matchdays for the remainder of the season as Guardiola and Klopp's mengo head-to-head for the title. Leeds actually I see they are quite responsive in seeing movement and that was evident when they played against Manchester United a few days ago, The problem for Leeds is that they have a pretty bad defense because indeed their players can be said to be less capable and I think even though they will be a bit troublesome but Liverpool are still the winners in this match

You are right, over 2.5 is a very good option for this game this because choosing Liverpool to win straight have not much odd. Reason why I also have the believe tht Liverpool will Wan was because they are really pursuing Manchester city I the title race, so Liverpool can't just loose, therefore I predicted Liverpool to win and over 2.5.

If there is a team that is more happy than Tottenham, I am sure it is Liverpool.  The point gap with Manchester City has narrowed even more.  If Liverpool wins the next game, they will only be 3 points apart.  Harry Kane has done wonders for both Tottenham and Liverpool.  Those who think that Tottenham will lose and think that they will fall behind in the race for fourth place, now have to think again.  With this win, Tottenham showed that they are still one of the strong candidates for fourth place.

Agree with what you said and of course Liverpool have to thank Tottenham at the moment because with City's defeat now they have more chances to catch up considering the competition still has 12 games to go and of course there is still a chance for Liverpool now.

The tight fight in Premier League is good for the league and fans like it, league operators like it, telecommunication companies like it but it can have bad effects on performance of those clubs in Champions League. They will have to separate their resources for Premier and Champions League which is not good. They don't have much time to rest in between and it can make their star players exhausted or more vulnerable to injuries.

I hope that Liverpool can win another Premier League title because Salah, Firmino, Mane, Becker don't have much time on top of their career. Soon they will have decreasing performance and Liverpool might need some seasons to compete with Manchester City again.
