Despite spending a lot of money, their performance depends on how well the players can adapt to the team. They have hired Chris Wood for 30 million to strengthen the forward. The addition of Kieran Trippier and Matt Targett will strengthen their defense. And Brazilian player Bruno Guimaraes will strengthen their midfield. Coach Eddie Howe may well be able to organize the team well.

Must admit I don't see Wood as 30M player. Hell Burnley brought in Weghorst as replacement for 12M and I think they got better player in the mix. Time will show.
Other transfers look good to me and should add some of the much needed quality to Newcastle side.

Leicester made them big difficulties before in this season. Leicester were really good in their home game in the league and won by 1-0. Actually, Liverpool played really good in that one but Leicester did a great work indeed. In Anfield, I expect another dominant Liverpool game. The most important thing is that Liverpool should be effective in finishing. Leicester are not very strong as for their defending and Liverpool have very good players at scoring. I believe in Liverpool to win this one.

On that date Mane and Salah were back and I'm sure, with the return of the two of them will certainly make Liverpool great again. I actually agree with the people who think that Liverpool can still do well without Mane and Salah in the Leicester game ahead of them in the PL. Because we watched Liverpool play like this against Arsenal in the EFL Cup rematch. And we saw how great they dominated the game and won it. So, I think that Liverpool's current attacking line is still quite solid and they can defeat Leicester in Anfield. Maybe it might be a more difficult win but they can. Because I really don't like Leicester's defense as I see it as quite weak.

Bet only 10% for Leicester which means they have a mission impossible on Anfield. but in the last meet, Leicester has a winning by Ademola's goal and in Carabao event, Leicester almost won the match if in the case Minamino didn't create a goal in injury time and winning 5-4 in pinalty shoot. In the next 2 weeks, even though Liverpool has a favorite, Leicester possibly will make a surprise to draw or win with a tight different goal.

I really think that Liverpool should win this match and beat Leicester City. Leicester city has got their work cut out here. They would have to really perform well to win against Liverpool. Leicester City did beat Liverpool in the last match they played against each other and I think Liverpool will be really eager to get the revenge. And will also be keen to hold onto their winning streak.

I think their investments were good enough. They have recruited the players they need. Don't forget the Newcastle League are a team at the bottom. So even if they have a lot of money, they will not be able to take star players in the team now. No star player will be included in a team whose next season in the Premier League is uncertain. Therefore, Newcastle has now formed a relatively strong team. As a result, they may be able to secure a place in the Premier League next season. They will form a stronger team next season.

I can't find any reason to expect so much from a team that is now in the relegation zone. They have money, but that doesn't mean they're the league's top club. Gradually they have to improve themselves. Nothing is possible very quickly. Be patient. Newcastle's management is slowly trying to strengthen itself and that is what should happen.

Well, this is the issue. Newcastle this January is pure panic-buying. They were sinking towards relegation, but now they've brought in a lot of new players. It can be very difficult to integrate a lot of new players into a struggling team in mid-season. Even if it takes a month to get them into a cohesive team, that's a month that Newcastle don't have. I do still think it's likely that they'll get relegated.

It's not late, you don't need big points to escape relegation. It was always going to be panic buy. We knew that they were going to bring in some players because they needed some reinforcements to stay alive amidst the relegation battle. The new owners tried their absolute best. I don’t think anyone can question their ambition. They really needed more players, that squad they had wasn't good enough especially the defence, I am happy to see they tried to get in better defenders. The Their vision going forward. Priority now is to stay in this league. Good investment bring out good profit, watch out for them if they get relegated. Even if they do, they will out in time.

Leicester are a very strong team, they can surprise any team, but I'm also leaning towards Liverpool winning this match. In the match with Crystal Palace, Salah, Mane and Keita were also absent, but this did not prevent Liverpool winning more than confidently 1:3. I don’t know if Liverpool will be able to compete with City, because the lead is still very significant.

Liverpool will win Leicester in match, despite some of their finishers are not available for this match but the one that is available will do everything possible to defeat Leicester 2:0 for the favour of Liverpool. Leicester has shake many strong team to drop their point in this tournament but it will be difficult for them to defeat Liverpool because the team don't depend on one player.

Given that the EPL is the richest and most profitable league, this is an expected statistic. But I am surprised that La Liga is only in third place and the amount of spending on transfers is very modest. But everything will change dramatically in the summer, although not all transfers will be formalized as transfers - for example, Mbappe will go to Real Madrid as a free agent.
By the way, it would be interesting to look at the statistics of transfers not in total (which also takes into account transfers within leagues), but only between leagues.

Agree, Leicester is really good and strong team, but they struggle to keep their score and defend the team against Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and etc... So, for me it will be impossible to see Leicester on the first place. Leicester seems to be something missing, I don't know maybe  confidence.
As of Manchester city and Liverpool, they have equal powers, but everything will depend on personal skills.

In Zidane's case, you know, he is looking for a stable team, the team which is looking for managers right now, and if he does not get any team like that defiantly he is not going to try his luck, and jeopardize his reputation.

But in my opinion, Zidane could do much better with Manchester United than any other coaches have done recently. Who knows maybe if Manchester United can finish in the top 4 then maybe Zidane will also change his mind!!

According to last reports, he wants to take some time off from managing a team and hence he denied the proceeds from United earlier if there were any. Zidane has good experience but I am not so sure. Fixing United at the current state is a heavy work and probably need good amount of time to fix them up.

It is rumored that Zidane has signed with Paris SG later this year. It would be very surprising to me if he goes to ManU. You know that he is a French citizen. Paris SG is a French team that every French coach would want to manage. This would be a very good opportunity for Zidane, actually. That's why I don't think he will consider the ManU option.

The intention of wanting to stay in EPL next season and actually making it happen, is actually two different thing and they really do need to keep winning atleast two of their next 5 fixtures on average to stay above the relegation zone. Their next game against Everton on 8th will be a crucial game for them to get 3 points because Everton is in a pretty bad shape right now

Everton havent win in the last 5 games and only bagged two wins out of their last 15 EPL games. It shouldnt be hard for Newcastle to win in a home game

Tottenham's next match is against Southampton in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tottenham finally got their first loss in the Premier League with Conte last week which was against Chelsea. But I still think that this won't affect them too much badly and they will move on from where they left. Southampton are one of the unpredictable teams now. They drew with Manchester City last which is good enough to explain this situation. Tottenham should play aware against them to be able to win. And I think that they will make it.
