Arsenal and Southampton are clearly different in terms of quality of players therefore Arsenal can control the game up to 76% and 23 shots
but as you said their defense is weak and finishing is not optimal even though a few months ago they weren't like that all compact and stable
So this is my question, what's going on? they are still playing with the existing squad but the performance is different.

The defeat to Southampton was Arsenal's third in a row, having previously lost to Crystal and Brighton. Arsenal is like Forgot how to win games, Arsenal players seem to be frustrated, they performed better in this match, but ended in a defeat. Arsenal have not only lost 9 important points in their three consecutive defeats, Arsenal can also only score one goal in those three matches.

So that's the problem, if you talk about bad luck it can't happen 3 times in a row it's beyond normal only the worst teams get it
But this time we are talking about Arsenal a team that has been consistent for several weeks in 4th place why suddenly dropped to 6th rank
Is this some kind of trend? because it doesn't just happen to Arsenal other teams like Manchester and Tottenham too.

I'm not surprised of  arsenal performance because sometimes football are like this , football pattern change unaware to anyone . Southampton winning against arsenal can be luck it doesn't mean Southampton is better than arsenal,  it is very common that what is expected from big teams at time don't come through.

this weekend seems we see some of unpredictable results because while most people predict Arsenal and Tottenham are the favourite to win the matches because against mediocre teams but in fact they were lose and these results makes Man Utd chance are open wide again reach to champion league zone and top 4 will became so tight because currently Arsenal and Man Utd only 3 points behind Tottenham so they will wait if Tottenham slipped then Tottenham position will be replaced by them

Two loss to London sides yesterday in the premier league
Chelsea might be next in line against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup today.
Tottenham created chances but failed to hit the target in the first half.
Arsenal might not end up in the top four with this performance, it's unllike the previous I have seen in two to three games before this.

Christiano Ronaldo helped the for sure yesterday and if not for christtiano Ronaldo Manchester would not have won the game . Ronaldo is so important for Manchester United he has been saving the team all this while.  Norwich also tried to score two goals on the match so ìnterestilng.

It is very clear that Christiano Ronaldo is like a character in the Manchester United club at this time, and besides that, Christiano Ronaldo has also had a very good career at Manchester United before going to Real Madrid and Juventus until finally returning to Manchester United.

Wherever he finds himself he make good impacts,  if Manchester United have some good players that are supporting him I think Manchester United would have been one of the best team like Manchester City and Liverpool  but it as if christiano Ronaldo is the only one carrying the loads of the team.

This is a nice prediction but the fact that you give Chelsea a loss is what amaze me and caught my attention this is so because you have rated Chelsea very low as they still perform better than Manchester United in the premier league so if Chelsea is playing against a small club we should expect a winning from them.

actually Manchester United has a lot of star players but I think this team is not coherent or many players don't match the coach's tactics so that the one who plays optimally is Christiano Ronaldo who can make a significant contribution to the Manchester United team.

Maybe the big pressure towards the end of the season made Tottenham and Arsenal lose, even though their opponents were not a strong team.
Tottenham and Arsenal should have realized that defeat should not happen near the end of the season, especially against a weaker team,
victory must be obtained. Arsenal played like a different team in the last few games, they experienced 3 consecutive defeats against mediocre teams.
I am pessimistic that Arsenal can win to compete for the 4th position, if Arsenal's performance is not immediately improved. I agree that Man United's
victory makes the competition for 4th place even more interesting, because the difference in points between the three competing teams is getting closer.

Among the three teams, Tottenham may have the greatest opportunity, because Tottenham's performance is the most consistent when compared
to Arsenal and Man United. Because before losing to Brighton, Tottenham have played quite consistently by winning 4 consecutive wins. After all,

Personally, I wasn't that surprised by Ronaldo's hat-trick because his opponent was only Norwich, the bottom team in the standings, even though Norwich had equalized to 2-2 before Manchester United finally won the match with a final score of 3-2. No matter how great Ronaldo is but still, it will not make Manchester United finish in the top four so yes, I think the achievements made by Ronaldo are not balanced with what Manchester United achieved they are still difficult to play against stronger teams.

it will be very difficult for Arsenal, I also don't think they can finish 4th in the table, failing to win in the last 3 games is a very bad thing where they are competing for 4th place. they have no mentality. maybe Arsenal fans should forget that Arsenal can play in the UCL next season, Arsenal's next 3 opponents are very tough, it's very possible for them not to win 1 point.

So many fantastic goals in the Manchester United 3-2 Norwich fixtures yesterday. The first goal was surprising to me on the part of Norwich to have left Ronaldo, such a formidable player like that all alone in the 18 yard box. It felt Almost like a penalty and he surely did just to it and put it quite clean in the post. His second goal that came off a header is something that haven't been seen in quite a while and to top it all, came the free kick, all converted into his hat-trick.
What I liked most of all was Norwich to have thought and tried to attempt a come back unto the game but,
It was a Ronaldo moment yesterday and he was quite determined to win this game for Manchester United and he did.

Cristiano Ronaldo made a great impact in the game against Norwich. Ronaldo puts his team infront after netting two goals in the first half and Norwich only scored a goal, the scoresheet was 2-1 at halftime. The second half kickoff, there was alot of pressure from Norwich, and they eventually levelled the game to a 2-3 draw. When all hopes were lost, that was the moment Cristiano Ronaldo score a stunning freekick to give Manchester United the victory and got an hattrick in the game, they have awaken the race for the top 4 position.

He scored the 60th Hat-trick of his career yesterday. If you have Ronaldo, you have everything. Meanwhile, the number of goals scored in the league increased to 15. I really wonder what is going on with them now. It is not good to see Arsenal performing this badly to me. I hope that they can improve their performance again and stay in the competition for gaining the fourth position in the league standings. They must be thankful for Tottenham to lose their game as well. Brighton did the same against Tottenham like they did to Arsenal and defeated them by 1-0. Arsenal are still three points behind them however Manchester United are back in this fight again too as they defeated Norwich.

The way Arsenal has been playing games this season has been remarkable and clearly demonstrates that the squad is taking a very nice shape, but all of a sudden they have deformed, I hope they wake up and win future games to keep their top four hopes alive.

We'll see how Arsenal will fulfill the expectations of many of their supporters by being able to end the year in 4th position. Because it has become a habit to end the season badly even if it starts well.
3 consecutive defeats is not a good achievement for Arsenal if they want to end the 2021-2022 season in a safe position.

Arsenal started the season really badly then they improved and now at the end of the season they are back in a bad form, I think it's the mentality, they are currently fighting for the 4th place in the table, initially Arsenal really benefited with a points lead and also still a game to go. but after failing to get a win in their last 3 matches I think they are out of the competition for 4th place in the standings. they don't have the mentality for it, now they will have a tough match in the next match, most likely they won't be able to bounce back and will have another bad result.

One of the things that surprises me so much is the age of christiano Ronaldo at his age he does what he knows very well, he still plays better more than  the young players. Tottenham are not  consistent in their performance  I expect Manchester United to win the match. The victory of Manchester United against Norwich will make them to improve for the next game against Tottenham.

Ronaldo has now scored fifty club hat-tricks. Continuously hushing those criticizing him. Ronaldo always appear in important games, doesn't matter the status of the club. Basically, he's the example of never lose hope. Obviously at times he is low that relies upon the round of the day or the manner in which Man United moved toward the game. Regardless of everything we actually love to see his gameplay.

Ronaldo has done many astounding things in his career. If he manages to get this United side into the Champions league, I figure it would be his most amazing accomplishment.
