Chelsea, after a draw with Leeds United, was threatening to lose his fourth place out of three clubs .Today, almost after the end of the round, it became sure of preserving their position after every other team who was chasing them faltered !! In the lead, there is one team that no one has approached, and in the runner-up and third-place conflict there is a bilateral struggle between Manchester United and Leicester City to keep the fourth, fifth and sixth place struggle open to all possibilities between Chelsea ,West Ham ,Everton , Tottenham , Liverpool it's going to be difficult to know the other 3 teams to punch the Champions League ticket.

Tonight I believe Wolverhampton has a real opportunity to get three super important points against Liverpool. If Liverpool plays like they did recently, Wolves have a chance to win.

The energy and determination I saw in Liverpool against Leipzig last week was unreal, I believe if the Klopp boys should use the same energy on Wolves tonight they will go home with 3 points, I wagged a few dogecoin on them on multiple bets. Salah and Diogo Jota to score I'm not too sure about Mane and Firmino poor form right now but I hope they pick up

Half time now and Liverpool is leading by one goal thanks to a goal that Diego Jota scored right before the end of the first half. Wolves is not playing bad tough, and the game is quite balanced so Liverpool needs to show much more energy if they are to take these three points home

liverpool is not doing well this season, in this game after they scored 1 goal they were defending, it seemed that they lacked confidence and security that they could win by more goals, while wolves had an excellent game and could win if they had no problem with miss goals. I was just hoping that the game would end soon because all I thought was that Liverpool could concede a goal and the game could end in a draw

Liverpool really tried to manage and sustain all the pressure from wolves today, most of all, they won the game. It was a nice one, wolves out played them but, Liverpool used experience in gaining an edge on them over this match.
It wasnas I expected but, not having much goals in the game is definitely the way I thought of it as well.
Now, they can advance a little on the league table to the 6th place. It would be really helpful for them if only they can keep this up because,  there inconsistency is just too much and they need this wins to keep coming else, it would cost them the UCL.

They are just unlucky. You must be aware of many of the key players of Liverpool get injured. Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Henderson, and Firmino are injured for a long time. I think it is very reasonable if they prefer to be more defending after making 1 goal. They may already evaluate their mistake in the few past matches. They too focus on making goals but forget to focus on the defense line. What's wrong with the strategy?

I don't think injuries affect Liverpool's championship chances even slightly. If all players were healthy and get no card ban Liverpool couldn't win the league. They may fight for second spot but that's all. Manchester City is playing great this year, that point difference reflect that how good they are. They will announce their next championship before April, that's crazy. Guardiola is the architect, he deserved all praises.

I agree with you...manchester citè is great this year and i believe even if liverpool or united didnt wast many points citè was to be the champion with no doubt...liverpool still have a chanse to get the champoins league trophy and save the season but i think its a very hard mission

There are still 9 games left for Manchester United to play, and I firmly believe Manchester United will not be able to win all the remaining games.
So it is very unlikely that Manchester United will pursue the points that Manchester City have. In other words, it is almost certain that Manchester City
will win the Premier League trophy this season.

I think the win of yesterday night is a good indicator that Liverpool needs to do the same in the remaining games of the Premier League in order to secure a spot for next season in the Champions League.This surely looks difficult looking at the standings however it is still very much possible.

Well, we grinded that one yesterday. Last few minutes were nervewracking to watch, defending in the last moments looks so different with Van Dijk in the team. We were all over the place but luckily Wolves weren't concentrated enough when needed.

What is left for Liverpool now is focus on UCL now maybe or if possible win to so as to stand a chance of qualifying for next season UCL as for the league their chances of making top 4 is gone for good because none the team of above them is ready to pave way for Liverpool comeback, the likes of Chelsea, Leciester City, Man Utd and West Ham will consolidate their positions in the league by not dropping any points in the remaining 9 matches.

It's probably different this time around. Players coming back after a long lay off have a different mindset. They usually have that hunger to play on the big stage again and prove themselves. All they needed to do is overcome that "rust" and have confidence in their fitness.

That's the problem they are facing right now champions league is 5 points ahead with Chelsea, if can cover that difference it would be great for them, they need at least champions league level, but it is not going to be easy, Chelsea is playing not so awesome recently neither, only 2 wins in the last 5 weeks but Liverpool could recover and win all their left games and could actually go over them, if Liverpool plays well I am sure that chelsea will lose some points fr sure.

This is going to be tough to watch for Liverpool fans, every single game will be a very difficult game, it is not going to be easy to see Liverpool missing champions league or maybe even europa league if they continue like this. That is why I think it is quite important that they win or their fans will want someone responsible for this, they will want to hear who is the reason for missing all of european competitions.

Someone watched as Coady hit Patricio. Patricio tries to save the ball from Salah but unfortunately he collides with Coady's knee. He collapsed immediately, this is terrible. But I heard that he had a brain failure. But today it seems the news is not true. He had come to his senses and remembered what happened.

As for the result, congrats to Liverpool you are lucky I think it will be a draw,  wolves play well they are just unlucky.

^^ Patricio collision was a horrible one. That was just rumours flying around that he had a fracture or something and there are always people around spreading something like that just watching the collision. Now that's the second Wolves player sidelined due to wierd collision. First was Jimenez who had returned to training but is not fit yet to return back. Wolves also already had signed Willian Jose to cover up for the forward position. Hope Patricio recovers and gets back soon at pitch. He is really a great goalkeeper.

The most important thing is Patricio seems to have escaped serious injury. You can read here that the injury is not as bad as first feared.

Many players injured must influence big for the chance to win the title. Especially, if the injured players are the key players of the club. If all players of Liverpool are healthy, I am pretty sure that Liverpool must be in the top 3 standings right now. If you are a real football lover, you should know it well. You need to remember what Liverpool could achieve in the previous season once their players are healthy and in their top performance.
