Agreed, no disrespect shown to Aguero from City. He wasn't playing at all this season, he was one of the most important players for them in the last 10 years but his salary would be high and they weren't using him at all.

He was available for 14 league games this season (exactly 50%), in total he collected 310 minutes in these 14 games - meaning that he played 24% of the minutes that he was available for selection.
Same thing happened in CL - he played in all 5 games when he was available but collected 128 minutes in total - averaging 25 minutes per game (28% of minutes).

He became a bench player for City - and they did not offer him a contract extension. Meaning that it was them that chose they didn't need him anymore.

I agree on the part where you say he will be remembered as a legend though. He should.

Gabriel Jesus is not a player that can compare with Kun Aguero. If you want to compare one Brazilian player with Aguero, it should be Neymar. I consider they are at the same level, together with Eden Hazard and Luiz Suarez. They are best players just after Messi and Ronaldo in the past decade.

Kun Aguero has to beat injuries and recover well in order to play at highest level in his end of career. At least, now Suarez has been in a good condition than Kun Aguero.

He left Atletico Madrid as one of two key players in that club. He combined with Diego Forlan and are fear of La Liga clubs. He is young in the day he joined Manchester City but not a baby. And he also shown that how good he is, through goals and impressive matches in A Madrid. What Kun Aguero done in A Madrid even much better than what Joao Felix has done in his two seasons so far.

Since the match against Ajax in CL in last October Dijk is injured which means almost the the entire season without Dijk. Without him our defense is a very weak and it's a fact.

City should win very easily in Leicester. Too hard to talk about Liverpool but I have good wishes for them, Arsenal are not doing well these days so good luck.

It's best for all sides - they will be able to bring a replacement and he will be able to find a club where he'll be playing regularly.

Aguero is one of my favorite PL players of all time, a truly complete striker. I'm sad to see him leave and I hope he'll remain in the Prem - although it looks highly unlikely.

He had too many injuries in 2020, especially the one he took in the middle of summer. I also heard he not long ago had corona.

No doubt Kun Aguero is a complete profilic striker whose track record in Man City is exemplary personally I think he should have been allowed to sign a contract extension for another two more seasons until he feels he is ready to quit just like the opportunity given to their former defender Vincent company I understand that Guordiola needs a fresh leg however the wealth experience of Aguero is still needed in the club.

Tottenham have good results in last 5 matches in Premier League and they will fight with Chelsea for the 4th position to Champions League. Liverpool was almost out of this competition. West Ham is just behind Chelsea but I don't have much belief in them.

Leicester City is very close to Manchester United but it does not make much sense for that two clubs and their tasks are remain their positions and avoid and slips to 4th position. That position is risky with play-off round and they can be out if have to face with another strong team from other top league.

Chelsea have come back very strong with Tuchel and I am surprised with all things that coach has done for The Blues. However his task has not yet done as Tottenham is trying to beat Chelsea. It will help Spurs to prevent a big flow of transfers from some stars: Kane, Son and can have one more loan with Bale.

You cant be serious to compare a youngster injury with a 33 years old player. He is still a top striker, he scored 23 goals last season with 32 caps while only score 3 goals out of 14 caps this season due to injury. He is definitely not done yet but the fact is that he hasnt got to his previous form yet , it might take a while for him which is also probably the reason he leave the Club

You cant be serious about this. Aguero is 33 years old this year and he will be 34 next years, he is still a good player but he can no longer compete with all those youngster in EPL. He could probably move to Serie A or Ligue 1 but definitely not in EPL

Man!! Football is not all about age these days what matter is your physical appearance, we know south Americans can play up to 40 years, Silva at Chelsea is 36 years old and he still doing very well, forget about the injuries this season, Aguero is still better than all the strikers in the EPL.

I think Aguero physical build can give him at least another 5 years on a very high level if he moves to a lesser intense leagues like the French league or Bundesliga, if he choose to stay back in England I don't think be would survive another 3 years, I'm not even sure if Messi and Ronaldo can do a 2 years in the premiere league. Ronaldo and Messi do have strong stamina so many have a big influence on the team, I know Kun Aguero has a good performance but in the main league, especially the EPL, it can still be needed, but what I have observed in the seriousness of attackers in the English league has to do with it. A goal scorer can say a lot about being able to bring the team better than looking at fitness but being able to finish the game at the end.
In 5 years time they are still eligible in the premier league, but if a move happens it could worsen them during their career.

Anybody here wishing the days away until the EPL returns next weekend? I am sorry but the international soccer does nothing for me. It’s far from as entertaining as the EPL. Most world cup qualification games are dull, lots of low quality teams, boring.

Maybe this happened because some of the star players came from different countries, so that the star players were separated to play for the country. Also, if your country is into international matches, it might increase your motivation to see them.

Yes maybe this is one of the reasons why he is not interested in watching international leagues.  Whereas for me, this is a real  football game, with good technique and strategy and carefully prepared by the whole club to win.  When compared to football clubs in my country, they only invite riots, especially the supporters who are too blind to their respective clubs even though their games are boring.

The fitness of each player is completely different. And fitness has nothing to do with body structure. Kane's wash is only 267. His fitness is phenomenal. But it remains to be seen how long he will be able to maintain such extraordinary fitness.

For country with low quality players like my country (INA), yes, that will be bored to see. But, still that have own value for every supporters. Of course we can see all star players in EPL play with different clubs that makes you happy to see. Soccer players also wants to join to play under their flags, league just a place for them to grow to bringing their dream come true.

Well, if the fitness is no longer excellent but they have a solid team then I think the fitness is not very good at least will still look good during the match with good cooperation as well. There are many factors that will certainly boost players to appear consistent and fitness is only one of them but indeed, this may be a major factor but we also cannot make it a benchmark because there are many players in a team who of course there will be a lot of support that makes players more strong.

I tend to like international football a lot but I must admit that at this very stage the differences between the teams are too big. Games are very unbalanced and most of the times very boring so I understand who wants the EPL back soon. We need to wait a few days more

Yeah it's worrisome somehow to a player who is still 33years I never expected him to be this injury-prone at this age, his type of play demands a lot of strength and power, he plays at high intensity, maybe he needed he wants to go back home to be with his family at this stage of his career and this is the best time to do it.

Yeah bit kinda does actually. But he could still find good no. of playing minutes who desperately need a good forward. Aguero is a good finisher and has experience and there are lot of clubs who lack a proper forward so there will be a lot of eyes on him.  But it all comes down to the player as well where he wants to go at last.

I think Aguero still the best forward and have good quality for primer league or La Liga, I think is not good decision if return to his country and playing on Argentina club. Messi have try to ask Barcelona management to get Aguero for Barcelona and make Messi keep playing for Barcelona in this season.
