I disagree with you at this point.Everybody knows Arsenal were a regular team in the champions league for about 13 years or so under Arsene Wenger.Now this is Arteta's era,where he is trying to build something,a collection of young players who are willing to win games together and make the club grow big.
With the way Arsenal are currently playing,you cannot say they cannot play the champions league,the young boys are really up to something,and let's look at where their form will make them end on the table.

Maguire isn't even the major problem in man it's now,the problem is that there is no coordination in the team and the midfielders that are fixed can't deliver sensitive passes 5 of which 2 may lead to a goal in the game.
The defense is porous and i thought as much and expected something better when varane came but the outcome,gameplay and reposition isn't worth the hyping i gave man utd.

Solskjaer has actually tried to fix that weakness, which he applying a 3-4-1-2 (or 3-5-2) formation. In a defensive state, 2 midfielders will retreat to the back, so they will have 5 defenders to withstand the opponent's attack. Supposedly with this formation, Man United's defense can be stronger, but if the weak point is the players then multiplying defenders at the back is not a solution.

In my opinion, Maguire is not a top-notch defender but if we skip all of his contribution for Manchester United, it is not right and not fair. When Maguire came, he helped to improved the defense system of Man United. What happened is players around him are not good especially his team mate in the centre. The club tried to fix it by buying Varane from Real Madrid but so far he spent more time in health recovery than real matches.

But the most important thing is that Man United must immediately find a replacement for Solskjaer. because some Man United players have reportedly lost faith in Solskjaer. If left like that, Man United players will not be able to bring out their best abilities.

It is not only about faith but also about the system Solskjaer has built up for the club after 3 years there. I don't see clearly what tactic he builds for the club. I don't think the sack of Ole will improve Manchester United's performance. Ole's strategy may be weak, but Manchester United's players are not playing well. Their performance is poor. The stupid thing is, managers get sacked so frequently these days, that there is always some suitable candidate available. So any manager who is sacked (whether rightly or wrongly) for "failing" at a club, can almost immediately get a new contract with a different club. They may change clubs, but the pool of managers remains relatively consistent, and most have been sacked at some point. It highlights how unfair some of the sackings are, if the best candidate is almost always someone who has been sacked from somewhere else.
